    Randy, thank You for another excellent video. It makes my 40 metre dipole at 1.5 metres above ground, look comical in comparison.

    This crossed over from a hobby to a full-time job. It looks like the inside of a military radio room. Very nice but very involved.

      @@gfinnstrom It really does but it's definitely cool! I was taken back to the 80s movie War Games or better yet a James Bond movie. Yep a lot of money tied up in that room not to mention the maintenance schedule for all of the stuff including the antenna farm.

    Wow, lots of planning, effort, and dollars into that station. The radio is only as good as the antenna network it's attached to it, and there's a lot of antennas there to attach to it. Nice video.

As for the comments on *Amateur* - Ham Operators are Professionals and are held to that standard by FCC Regulation and Proctored Testing by the FCC Examiners and affiliated Examiners of the ARRL (VE/VECs). We, as Ham Operators, are Classified as Amateurs because we can not, under penalty of law, to be compensated or renumerated in any way shape or form for what we do as Radio Operators on our awarded and designated frequencies, earned through the testing Classes (2,3,4 or Technician, General, Extra) that are regulated by the Federal Government by way of the FCC.

    Not too shabby. The only problem is...you can't do a SOTA activation with that setup. Too cumbersome to carry up a mountain.

    Well this just took the wind out of my sails. I was feeling pretty good about my Rohn push up poles for dipoles and my DX Engineering 43' all band vertical. My station has a "Long way to go!" Hi LOL 73

    Looks almost like an amateur version of a Naval Communication Station. "Amateur" is a bit of a lie of sorts; very professional in execution even if used for amateur purposes. Wow! 73 de AE5ZX

    Nice, very Nice. One small note, the feedlines are Heliax, not coax. ( 02:34 and 02:48 ) Heliax is far superior than coax.
