I can't even begin to express the sheer terror I felt when the camel spider made a complete b-line for the nest. I thought all I had to do was just retreat my forces for the night _AND THEN IT STARTED DIGGING_
freaked me out too, just kinda sat there like: 0-0
me to i suprised. when its first come inside the nest. but some how survived it.

Growing up to 20 centimeters in length, this true titan of the undergrowth dwarfs almost anything that crosses its path.
With bulging pedipalps, equally effective for digging up insects and tearing them apart, this encounter could mean extinction for the colony.

Played this level with my father. As soon as we saw the Sun Spider, we both said how cool it was. Then we both looked at each other with wide eyes as it started digging in.
Truly amazing stuff.

I remember I attempted to kill the camel spider before it broke into the nest but it broke into the next due to its stunning attack. Though I was able to get it halfway down. Though it was in medium difficulty if I recall.
Maybe make that an achievement SlugDisco?
“Seal the nest” - Kill the Camel Scorpion before it destroys your nest entrance on (insert difficulty here)
Yeah that might have some complications but that would be interesting to say the least
Problem is that the camel spider is the reason that the later bosses enter the nest, I suppose the others could dig aswell, but they’d need to change the voice lines
No, the sun spider digging into your nest is a scripted event. Nothing you can do to stop it from digging into your nest. It will always dig in, if you try to spawn kill it with tons of soldiers, after reaching a certain amount of health, it stuns all ants in a large radius.
@@NappyB1 from what ive seen, its basically all ants above ground
@@UltimateDudeGuy as I played it again, it seems to be a large radius around your nest as my ants who were out harvesting termites weren’t getting stunned until they entered that radius around the nest

Ah, the amount of emotions that I now associate with this theme: either perfectly executed/botched termite raids, clearing out lizards, annoying earwigs (I swear they're like sand), and the "food stores are full" messages. And... assassin bugs, I guess.
Earwigs: rough and coarse and irritating and get everywhere.

Funny thing, in some of the playthroughs before release, I didn't hear this action theme nor the safe theme, all I heard was subjugation and harvest lol. But damn this sounds amazing.

There is and when it comes out i am probably gonna pass out cause it's to me by far THE best theme we got but literally every other theme is amazing but this one gave me chills each time i heard it 5.2 action is gonna peak.

I am wondering though where is the violon part ? Like you can hear it faintly in the safe theme but every time the action theme kicks in for me i hear it louder is it part of the transition theme betwern the safe and action ones ?

Prioritize numbers to collect the jelly so I say just focus on getting mostly fire ant with vigorous would be best
