Kyee71... They showed exactly how to make Mozzarella. This is how I make it at home, taught to me by my father, although I squeeze it through cheese cloth before placing it in the salt water. He cut up curd not mozzarella.

what makes my cheese friable and I cannot shape it as a ball or stretch it?

+kyee71 most restaurants buy curd rather than make it. That is probably why they didn't show the whole process.

It seems like they say the ingredients are Curd, Hot Water, and Salt. That's really all you need.

TheVideoVolcano I'm not sure if you know this or not. But certain words are pronounced differently between language. For Example Enter in English is Entre in French. Different languages tend to have different words to describe the same thing. So I'm not sure why you are so surprised that we have a different word for something that is clearly Italian.
Another example.. Italians don't say Spah-get-ti like us Americans say it. They say Spah-git-ti. Do people complain the way we say it? I've never heard anyone complain about it anyway. And I'm Italian.

      Sorry man, but thats incorrect!
      Italians dont say Spa-git-ti...
Atleast true Italians dont say it like that!
      Its spa-ge-tti

Sorry to say I still have no idea what so ever how to make Mozzarella, he first heated the pre made mozzarella, sorry I came here to learn how to make it, this video didn't help at all. After all the video title is How to Make Fresh Mozzarella is it not?

Why does everyone who makes mozzarella try to pretend to make their pronunciation sound Italian, but still don't pronounce it correctly? They seem to be trying to be trying too hard to pretend they are Italian

Why the hell do Americans "parmy-sharm"
    It's 'Parmigiano' (Par*-me-jano) or in English - 'Parmesan' (Par-me-zan)

Those hipster kids are doing it wrong... that is the type of food you're supposed to take pictures of and post on the internet, not that garbage from Moe's or Chipotle.
