Dear RPS, water level sensor looks like conductivity based, please consider it changing to float type. I had corrosion issues on conductivity based sensors. Float sensors are more reliable.
Thanks for the feedback. We have used both and in the long term have found the stainless to be very reliable, since there is no mechanical switch to wear out or get stuck. But to each their own!
RPS Solar could I use your setup to power my preexisting well pump? I'm not sure if mine is a 110V or 220V but will be checking it when I return to my farm. I'm pretty much talking about everything you sell above ground. Thank you for any reply. Enjoying the videos but as a beginner I'm lost. I need enough power to flip the well on maybe a couple of times a week. Any direction would be appreciated. Oh and if I remember correctly my well is approx. 4" around and it seems the water level started at 110 feet with 60 depth. Seems like it was 16 gpm's when it was dug 25 years ago.
Tank full sensor is not required to operate as it is active open. The well low sensor is required as it is active closed, but can be overridden (not recommended) with a jumper wire.
@@raulcastro5770 Do you have one of our pro series systems? If so, then it is a different controller and connection for the wires. That green wire would be the ground and can be connected to the plug using the diagram in the user manual. We can also walk you through it on the phone tomorrow if you like?
It is water resistant and designed for the outdoors. That being said, most people mount it below their solar panels for a bit of protection for the elements.
When the water is very calcareous, these level detectors present a conductivity fault. This is my case I had to use a more reliable system: the floats.

Sir, am I going to attach 1 sensor to pump and the second to the tank and how to calculate the Dept

Yes, we can convert most 220V AC submersible pumps.
what happens if I am pumping water from a well into a tank tank is full start using water from tank will pump start up to refill tank
The sensor has 3 cores were do l connect the third
Thank you
You're welcome!
I wanted to know if the item used as low well sensor the same as the one used as the tank full sensor so that I can go and DIY. THANKS.
Yes, they are the exact same.
@@RPSSolarPumps Thanks
Sir how much is the complete set of RPS solar pump
What is the hp of the motor sir? What is panel wattage?
When the sun goes down and the pump shuts off, does it turns on by it self the following day???
Ours does, but I am not sure about your exact pump.
Was helful
Comment avoir ce matériel pour un puits ?
What if the light in the control panel light all of them and the water not coming what could be the problem
Motor could be spinning backwards or you dont have enough power to get water to the surface.
How can it be off if the full tank sensor is missing

Sir if the connection of the pump is exchange means wt hpns can u tell me exect connection of the pump to inverter
Hmm this video is for our systems. Might need to check your manual for your specific pump!
My pump has 4 wires... what is the 4th yellow wire for and where does it connects to?
Sorry I am not familiar with your exact pump.
Is a 2 horse power RPS pump.

I don't have the pumps with me but we can talk, I have a few questions. 703-582-6994.
How can I purchase
Does the controller need to be in a dry area?

Yes, in 99% of wells the sensors work for years without any issues. In the case of really high mineral content, sometimes we switch to floats.
That control panel I could build with less than $100 of parts or even less .

That's just a demo to show how it works. These pumps are made to go underwater in a borehole!
