I used to work down the docks with a guy whose brother was in PR and wrote this but then got the boot from the band.Saw them many times down Bogies and the Lions Den.They should have made it big.
I saw them a dozen times and they were EPIC live, Phil Campbell used to do a solo song no drums no anything else on a flying v and it was the dogs, wish i knew what it was and where i could get a copy, it was better than anything hes done since IMHO. I jammed with Phil and a fantastic guitarist called "Mavis Davies" in a house in Ynysybwl about 1980.
@@nickh2458 yo...Nicky Hughes!!! First time I saw you lot in The Isca I was coming over Newport bridge and could hear you from the town side :) Sounded feken awesome and me and my mate couldn't figure out what we were hearing. As we got closer to The Isca it was getting obvious sommat special was going on in there. You and Razz rock fkn solid, Phil being Phil sounding great and Carl making every other singer that ever sang in there look like a complete c*** :) Happy daze mate. I still got the single....Wish I'd got you lot to sign it. Hope all is well.
It's interesting because right at the beginning it resembles me of Prowler by Maiden, and from 1:50, it resembles me of Two Minutes to Midnight, also by Maiden!
The actual release-date is supposed to be 1981 for this particular single according to Encyclopedia Metallum, Discogs, and Wikipedia. 1979 is when the band FORMED. Just thought I'd let ya know, so you wouldn't have to deal with the inevitable person correcting you later, potentially in a disrespectfully rude manner - an action not exactly unheard-of in the comment-section of a UA-cam video, to say the least ;)
@@nickh2458 I've been a huge metal fan for about 25 years but unfortunately have never heard of your band until just now. Fucking killer stuff, man! Wish I would have found this YEARS ago!
wow! i've been looking for this single for a while, only seem to come across obscenely expensive copies. This is a great song and band!

Wonderful track! Really,Maiden probably listened to this song many times! kkk!
Saw Risk a few times in the Isca (now Riverside Tavern ) in Newport. Way too good to be playing little pubs even back then.
Loved playing at the Isca. Flashback time.

?
Many NWOBHM bands have some similarities in their music, and that's not something bad.
happy new year
NWOBHM 🍻🍻🇵🇹🤘🤘
a strong TYGERS OF PAN TANG's feel !!!
ha....quite funny as Jon Deverill (great singer) went to Tygers (after Jess left ) from PR and somehow they found Carl (amazing singer) !!! :)
Same riff as Make my Day from Motorhead. I wonder if Phil wrote this one too

Did Steve Harris rip this melody off for Two Minutes Till Midnight? Sounds familiar...
The entire band OD'd off some bad junk at the same time... Persian Risk, you will be missed.
Wtf? None of that is true
Crooked comment 😂😂😂😂
Im still alive. Lol.
