V8s nice but don't expect much on speed unless your gonna throw another 6-7 grand into a tune, exhaust, etc . It is a very smooth ride with a ton of comfort and options. Oh and it's sexy as hell lol
I have the black '21 RT with the Blacktop package. The interior, exterior, and engine specs are still the same. I think the 5.7L V8 Hemi is perfect as a daily driver. The SRT is nice, but overkill and as a daily driver.
I have the same but the 2023 model R/T Plus with the Toe and Go Package. The brake dust build up on mine is ridiculous so I am looking into getting those replaced.
Sounds good but you are absolutely right. It's slow but that's cause of the weight. I have a rt and also have a 21 honda accord 2 liter and sadly my accord 2 liter 10 speed is quicker and it was 22k cheaper
@AG-yv8yb yea I could've spent less on a ScatPack if I wanted to go fast and actually was an option but im in Wisconsin and wanted a year round vehicle with the snow etc.
@chadhunter8757 I like it. I installed it on a '17 Dodge Durango GT I later traded in for my 21' RT. I like it on my RT because it removes the lag time upon acceleration, which gets the Durango up and moving faster. Acceleration is improved, but you don't really gain additional HP. I also like it because it is not permanent. You can easily disconnect it or turn it off while installed.
Those are likely 6 pistons & 2 piece rotors with the Tow & Go package, when it comes time to replace the fronts, its like $3500.00 or more at the Dealership, 4 pistons are wayy cheaper.
They ARE 6-piston up front and 4-piston rear They are 1 PIECE rotors. You can ONLY get 2-piece Rotors on the hellcat versions from factory A brake job on all 4 corners is around $1300 at a independent shop. Pretty straight forward
Thanks for the clarification, I'm only buying the mopar parts, and having it serviced at the dealership, for my mopar durango 22 vs my scat shaker they are still relatively expensive, vs the 4 pistons and rotors on the scat. Crazee you get to pay for SRT in the RT trims.
Always liked the Durangos. And now they're looking so much better
I just bought the 2024 Tow n Go Blacktop Edition and I love it. Sunroof, AWD, it has 6 Piston Brembo in the back and 4 Piston Brembo in the front.
Waiting on my baby to built and delivered! Can't wait to get behind the wheel and test that V8!
Onb congress gang

Add a pedal commander to your RT. I keep mine on sport + mode on level 3. You will not regret it.

Love my blacktop. I have the red interior on mine
Damn that my dream
Damn that’s my dream car

How much you put down ?
@ChadeshJew I didn't have to put down a penny on my 23 RT Plus. It's a lease. 598.00 a month ! Insurance is spendy though!
$69k. I waited till the 2025s started and just bought this same car in white for 48k out the door 3 days ago.
I have the 23 Durango R/T Blacktop in black. Its a nice ride but kinda slow lol. SRT next!

@@md-hj5nd I've looked into that before. Is it really worth it?

My 2024 durango rt shows 275 on the power but yours shows 370 do you have any ideas ?
Could be something dodge added on this model.
Travel, traveling.
