Ooo need to hear more about your reading journal! I have Good Reads but recently switched to StoryGraph, it's a quick way to track what I'm reading, but I'm so unmotivated lately.
Lovely to see a video from you! Hope you had a lovely holiday and enjoying your time off as well. I recently just started to reuse an old dated tn insert that I didn't fill out - as a collage journaling insert. Since I glue so much stuff in, works out to cover up dates and just use it as a general journal. I'm definitely learning to hesitate less and just do it!
I love the idea of using an old dated insert for something like that! I have international family visiting so it's a bit hectic, honestly I'm looking forward to the holidays being over so I can return to some sense of normalcy lol
@ haha I can understand the holidays being a lot because we are thrown out of our routine! Soon enough it’ll all be over. Wishing you a happy new year!
I just found your video! 🤗 So true about choice overload. I love how simple and enjoyable you made the journaling process. You’ve inspired me to start one. TFS! 🤗
Thank you for joining me! Choice overload has become increasingly difficult for my over the last 2 years, so I'm trying to find ways to manage it. Sometimes I have so many things that I don't even use them, then what is the point?
That and the new little tropical greenhouse were my absolute favorite! Some of the bonsai are decades old, and the way it's setup - it's like you're walking through an outdoor museum. I think they did a really great job with it!
My sister, @flyingpigthrifts lives in Lancaster. Never been to the restaurant. Yet have been to the stores you talked about. Love how you just did a smorgasbord of journaling.
Oh I love Lancaster! My mom is a quilter so I usually go with her whenever I'm in PA. Some of my favorite places are Kaufmann's, Old Country Store, Deiner's (small smorgasboard) and Shady Maple (it's too chaotic but their grocery store is just as good!)
Honestly it's the only way I can journal at this point. I start to feel overwhelmed and make a mess just trying to find certain items while I'm in the middle of journaling. So by taking a few things out BEFORE starting, the process is much smoother!
I just moved from DC last year!I had to get out of there, I was so unhappy after 4 years. My big dream with this channel is to grow enough to have annual meetups or something!!
great timing! I've been setting up my reading journal in my TN today. I love journaling along with other people's videos

Good advice regarding choice overload. Thank you.

@stationery.shenanigans Same here. I will try it!
I think this would be great to see more of if TNs are calling your name in 2025. Congratulations again on your 1,000 followers. 🥳💛
It's funny you mention that because lately i've been thinking about getting a black or camel because I don't have any in those colors!
If you are ever in Maryland. Let's connect and do some cafe journaling!
