A lot of people are questioning cards. Why shade? Why senjin? Why no azure? Why KT? Did you even watch/listen to this and the previous video? Shade has lots of value in control match ups. As shown here against shaman and druid. Where Trump could keep shade on the board for later or trade in against AncientOLore. Senjin is extra taunt against agro. Just decent defensive vanilla wall, helps to bring curve down while adding defence. Azure is a possibility. I think Trump doesnt believe in it surviving and wants more value from individual minions in this deck. Kt instead of Rag/Boom is simply to have 0 minions who are, by themselves, bgh targets. BGH is a low value card without the effect. And since lots of decks runs him, its worth taking advantage of. Hope this clarifies. :)
Few things give me more satisfaction than watching pure skill and intelligence beat mindless nobrain netdeck rush hunt-tards. Well played Trump, well played. 8:59
Lol, yesterday I had a guy play Cairne, then follow it up with Sneed, who dropped Alexstrasza. I was winning up until that point. Sometimes the arena just wants you to cry.
i know wild growth is popular, but ive played a shit ton of druid, and i have taken it out of my deck. sure, one mana ahead of your opponent is crazy tempo. but if you dont use all your mana every turn, you are simply a card down. plus drawing it late game just takes up mana in order to cycle, effectively spending 2 mana to do nothing. not to mention drawing it mid-game and it just sitting in your hand. since i took it out my deck has been performing much better.
That's just a hypothesis though, in practice Wild Growth has proven to be a good card in a deck built around it. Maybe your deck needs to have a better mid-game curve or more late-game; otherwise you might be looking at more midrange Druid decks.
well being ahead of mana as a druid is always good becouse you want to win the board for sure .. + add the fact at 10 mana it's 2 mana recycle which aint that bad too... it's very solid card .. what is your replacement as a more solid turn 2 play? no other turn 2 play will give u that big of a tempo advantage..
Bowen Huang Well he said that in practice he's been doing better. So he's tested his hypothesis. I can also say that I agree with him. Any time I've tried ramp druid, most of my losses would be caused by an inopportune draw of wild growth. (It was also just a copy of one of trump's ramp druid decks with maybe one legend swapped out) Since then I've just played a midrange druid that I made myself. Got to legend quite easily with it having roughly a 70% win rate. My findings anyways.
At minute seven the correct play was to play ancient of war in attack mode, so he has lethal with cenarius. The 5/10 gets bounced back and shade survives explosive trap!
No BGH targets? There are 8; six minions with 5+ attack that can get boosted by +2/+2 with Cenarius, plus 2 Shades which can both grow to 7 attack or get boosted by Cenarius.
TopOfTheBox Yes, but Trump was talking about within his deck. The point is that BGH is an incredible value card because it can kill large minions. The value goes away when you have to combo with other cards. However, if your opponent buffs their own minions to 7+ attack, BGH still gets incredible value. Also, trying to play around an opponent combo buff/BGH-ing your minion is rarely possible. But managing your own buffs to play around BGH is just good sense. Having said all of that: you're right that it is a little silly to say he has 8 BGH targets --- but I'm okay with that. Silly is good.
Trump, can you try using Mogor the Ogre in this deck? With the large creatures you play it might improve your match-up against Hunter, Zoo and other aggressive, minion heavy decks.
Seriously, something else big. If you wanna go as similar to this as you can, go for some non-BGHable big threat. Check what tends to work from like Cairne, Troggzor, or, from the non-legendaries, Boulderfist Ogre and Piloted Sky Golem. Or fuck everything and go Loatheb.
Actually, your username reminds me of a combo I like to run: Dark Wispers on Echoing Ooze. Even if one gets silenced you are left with a 6/7 taunt and the silenced 1/2 is still savage roar value. It's not super competitive, but there is a pretty fun combo wombo you can do with faceless and innervates that gets you 4 6/7s in one turn. Don't bother against Pally or Handlock though.
I thought people run shade of Naxx because it's a sticky minion that can combo really well with the savage-roar combo. Why would you run it in a ramp druid that doesn't run the combo?
there's always a possibility that you can innervate it on turn one, it often makes good trades and, you know, it's ramp druid so it's not unusual to see random minions that're not used in other constructed decks
They're not random minions. They're slow minions. Ramp druids, unlike other decks, can afford slow minions like spectral knight and shade of naxx because they can accelerate them.
The Shade in there because its the only early game minion, besides chow. Nromaly ramp uses 3 mana drops, previously it was Earthenring, even Harvest golems, and now its the Shade. The upside of the shade is that you can use it effectively against control decks as well because then it has time to grow big.
That first game was so painful to watch, I knew immediately when he set up the death's bite that he had Alex and Grommash in hand, and the annoying thing is that there wasn't anything trump could have done to stop it.
I have played similar deck i started with this one but noticed few "flaws" in my opinion: Mind control tech was the first card to go because usually with swipes, wraths etc you always try to go for full board clear so often it would just sit on my hand Replaced with savage roar Kel khuzad dude was too slow because when you had board control you were going to win anyways Replaced with Ragnaros or if you have doc boom that would be better Most opponents were rush hunters, warlocks and mages so ragnaros, savage roar and the 6 mana trees were much better I took out one ancient of war for trees And i don't have cenarius so ysera worked for me pretty well Also shades of naxx were replaced because often times they would just sit there and do nothing so ooze for weapons and card + spell damage from bloodmage thalmos to not go too heavy on curve
The reason for Kel'Thuzad over Dr. Boom or Rag is none of the minions in the deck have over 6 attack, which renders BGH (every deck runs BGH right now) basically useless.
so you made your deck better against aggro. very fair. your version would also be a lot worse against control. as Trump's deck is built to beat control. the shades have time to grow against control. you're kind of running a token druid deck without the tokens lol.
buljib buljibic yes. if you think he will ALWAYS beat control, and ALWAYS lose to aggro, you are wrong. of course there will be cases where he beats aggro and loses to control. lol. in general, that druid deck is good against control, yet has a not-so-good matchup against hunter.
***** I never said it worked all the time. It's just the only thing people can do to try and slow the hunter down. Taunt is also very good against rogue, and Handlock is favored against control priest. That doesn't mean it always works out that way.
That's what I am hoping but I got the feeling it won't be as constant if it the hearthstone problems were fixed. Was glad to see Trump not playing hearthstone for a bit I like his commentating just hearthstone is getting old to see.
This war of mine has already uploaded jts 10 episodes but the last 4 are private atm ether he dies/stops playing at 10 or he took a pause and we will see more later
Ovarel Oh didn't know thanks. I just hope he doesn't stay playing on hearthstone even if uploading isn't a problem. It's just nice to have a change of pace I think while also being able to have Trump commentate.
Why is shade included in every druid deck? There are so many card that does more than shade. 3/3 stealth for 3 mana is meh, and waiting for it to grow takes so long; so why not just change it with something/anything?
But why would it be misdirection, the huntards are too stupid to make their own decks they only carbon copy the same deck and everyone knows what they are running.
Yeah i dont really get it either, wouldn't a spidertank be al lot more consistent then the shade? And shade doesnt really combo with kel'thuzad... I guess it does grow easily with all the taunts and you have to do something with your turn 3.
I think it's always worth it to silence a totem that could be a threat. Why? Well, he just gave you the incentive to do so and it basically means that the Shaman will have a dead minion on the board. Unless he's running attack buffs, he'll never be able to get use out of that particular totem. While I don't play Hunter myself, I could perfectly see it being viable to silence a taunt totem on face hunter to prevent them getting in your way later down the line.
I know people hate the current Hunter Rush Decks and claim they're mindless, but does anyone understand competitive games? It doesn't matter if it's stupid, broken, easy, or annoying; if it wins, people are going to play it. I don't blame them and neither should anyone
1.How come Trump does not use golden cards?: He wants his deck to be symmetrical. If he had all the golden cards for the deck he was using, the deck would be full of them.He does most likely have the dust to craft these golden cards, but he believes that doing that would be pointless.Try thinking of it as a Death The Kid,or Double D thing, but on a much smaller scale.(If anyone even gets those references.) If you don't want to take my word for it,just read through this-sites.google.com/site/trumpdecks/frequently-asked-questions 2.How do i get that card counter addon he uses?: That is something added in by Trumps video editor. You cannot download it.However, there may be a program similar to it online.Hell if i know where to get it though.
I feel sorry for all these cheap hunter decks, all they want to do is rush you down and beat you so they can reach higher rank. Pathetic. No innovation in game style just copy paste every other hunter deck, 90% attack face and hope for the best. I love hunter and i refuse to play this pathetic rush down decks that most noobs use, yea you know who you are. Id rather play interesting fun/control deck and maybe win less games.
Control decks are so innovative and so fun to play. Put a lot of cheap removal and lots of legendaries in your deck, proceed to clear the board until you can play your legendaries and win with a high damage combo like Force Savage or Grommash Taskmaster. Much fun. If these agro decks were not so popular, we would see even more lategame in control decks.
samooTomas ha? you try to make it sound cheap and easy. hunter=hit face. nearly all control decks (besides freeze mage) take a lot of thought with many different possible plays every turn. i mean, did you even watch this video?
I don't think thats true for most hunters. At least, I feel that way because I play hunter all the time just to mine gold so I can get some cards to make a decent deck.
samooTomas Yes! Lategame is awesome! It equals lots of cards, and lots of mana, so there are lots of options, predictions and in general plays to make. How would you not prefer that to HIT FACE / OMG I HOPE I TOPDECK TAUNT!
FINALLY A HEARTH STONE VIDEO !
Every time a huntard got defeated, I was very happy and proud of you Trump
GJ Jens you fixed it! I was worried the editor lord of Value Town might be in deep trouble.
YES 60fps! Thank you Trump and Jens!!!
Or maybe I only noticed it now :3
FINALLY SOME HEARTHSTONE!!!!!
I want more This war of mine, but I like the hearthstone upload too :)
checked youtube and saw a trump hearthstone vid and i JIZZED. IN. MY PANTS!
Than what happened :O
So...what happens when a girl comes into view then? :D
Marc Shanahan
He shrugs and checks youtube again.
Hey at least I get it.
Blue .Barrymore the fact it went over so many heads added to my amusement honestly.
Awesome video man! Keep it up I started to make Hearthstone because I play it and Encouraged to record about by you thanks man!
Less than ten seconds before Trump said 'value'. Is that a record?
That's quite unbelievable. I'll save this video and show to my future son
About 10.8 seconds :(
Louey7777
Actually it was at 9.8 seconds.
ken wood On mine is was 10.8 :(
I like how KT is seeing more play in this meta. Trump used to say how KT is a "Win +" card and now KT is pretty much a solid game changer.
Nice glad to see some hearthstone!

13:17: "This is actually kind of a tough spot for me..."
Welcome to Hearthstone folks... where turn 2 can be a 'tough spot'.
I chuckled...
Very good game against that second Hunter, waiting patiently to go in the traps really won the game for you
Jens this is a This War of Mine channel, quit putting Hearthstone on here. ;)
Yeah Jens stop with this bs game I came here to see a pro in This War of Mine Kappa
I'm sick and tired of seeing you everywhere! Begone!
Not really thou, I don't really care...
really? i thought it was an amnesia channel.
Emmett Chan Huh? You see me everywhere?!
Bp Elliott For some reason, yes!
That second match was amazing and super cathartic to see the Hunter lose it.
The hunter was a scumbag till the end, not letting trump deal the killing blow and instead surrendering like a coward.
Would you expect anything else?
You know what happened the other day in arena? Innervate Innervate Innervate Ironbark Protector on turn 2. I cried ;____;
i have no idea what class you played, but a hex or poly would have won you the game probably. i liked my coin innervate echoing ooze mark better :D
Dicsoupcan It was priest, and I didn't get either of my 2 shadow word deaths. At all. Not even on turn 4 when I finally conceded :l
aaah that is the arena life, i feel that pain.
Lol, yesterday I had a guy play Cairne, then follow it up with Sneed, who dropped Alexstrasza. I was winning up until that point. Sometimes the arena just wants you to cry.
that's just bad luck, often when i draft legends i lose haha. i rather have a good solid legendless deck
Respect from France
Damn, I was actually excited to see a episode 7 :(
Makes me wanna play my druid again :D
that Warrior first game, have to give it to him, that is a pretty rocking deck there. That's coming from someone who hates Warrior class.
I like at the end how Trump is like, "sigh" I almost want to get more value than win immediately.
i know wild growth is popular, but ive played a shit ton of druid, and i have taken it out of my deck. sure, one mana ahead of your opponent is crazy tempo. but if you dont use all your mana every turn, you are simply a card down. plus drawing it late game just takes up mana in order to cycle, effectively spending 2 mana to do nothing. not to mention drawing it mid-game and it just sitting in your hand. since i took it out my deck has been performing much better.
Agreed. It's a much more situational card than people tend to claim.
That's just a hypothesis though, in practice Wild Growth has proven to be a good card in a deck built around it. Maybe your deck needs to have a better mid-game curve or more late-game; otherwise you might be looking at more midrange Druid decks.

My deck has also been preforming much better after I cut the wild growth.
If you know what I mean.
those hunter wins feel so good
Will there be more this war of mine?
At minute seven the correct play was to play ancient of war in attack mode, so he has lethal with cenarius. The 5/10 gets bounced back and shade survives explosive trap!
WOW Trump this is the same deck as my "dream deck"
Will the rest of the This War of Mine play through still be posted?
More "this war of mine" please :)
Finally, Hearthstone.
No BGH targets? There are 8; six minions with 5+ attack that can get boosted by +2/+2 with Cenarius, plus 2 Shades which can both grow to 7 attack or get boosted by Cenarius.
Or really, ANY of them can be BGH targets if you look at them like that. Wow, Sledge Belcher can be double taskmastered then it has 7 attack!
TopOfTheBox Yes, but Trump was talking about within his deck. The point is that BGH is an incredible value card because it can kill large minions. The value goes away when you have to combo with other cards. However, if your opponent buffs their own minions to 7+ attack, BGH still gets incredible value. TopOfTheBox The Slimes can be BGH targets. Task master, rampage, task master.
BGH target is a minion that has 7+ attack, there are no BGH targets in that deck. /thread
By that logic, Wisp is the best BGH target in the game.
Yo Trump love ur vids man keep up the work!
Could you maybe like post a vlog just for one day so we kinda know how one of your normal days are?
15:38 its like Schrödiner's Bloodlust
Why no tree of life in this deck? It's superb against aggro and some other decks !
I'm going to try making other decks without any BGH targets. Life on the ladder lately has been really hard for rag and friends.
Shaman is so underpower right now. It's sad because I love playing Shaman.
Trump, can you try using Mogor the Ogre in this deck? With the large creatures you play it might improve your match-up against Hunter, Zoo and other aggressive, minion heavy decks.
Thoughts on the undertaker card adjustment?
Acolyte of pain approves.
What should I run instead of Cenarius
Whisp.
Boulderfist Ogre and two frostwolf grunts. And 6 Mark of the Wilds for the buff option.

Troggzor is a very good legendary if you have him. Cairn would also be good, if you're on a super budget then a big card like ogre or mech bear cat
Turn on Subtitles at 17:57
Life is pain, Highness. Anyone who says differently is selling something.
play this with subtitles/captions ^^
I thought people run shade of Naxx because it's a sticky minion that can combo really well with the savage-roar combo. Why would you run it in a ramp druid that doesn't run the combo?
V A L U E

One battle of the same druid deck, what are the odds?
No seriously, what are the odds Trump?
ty the gods
That first game was so painful to watch, I knew immediately when he set up the death's bite that he had Alex and Grommash in hand, and the annoying thing is that there wasn't anything trump could have done to stop it.
I have played similar deck i started with this one but noticed few "flaws" in my opinion:
Mind control tech was the first card to go because usually with swipes, wraths etc you always try to go for full board clear so often it would just sit on my hand
Replaced with savage roar
Kel khuzad dude was too slow because when you had board control you were going to win anyways
Replaced with Ragnaros or if you have doc boom that would be better
Most opponents were rush hunters, warlocks and mages so ragnaros, savage roar and the 6 mana trees were much better
I took out one ancient of war for trees
And i don't have cenarius so ysera worked for me pretty well
Also shades of naxx were replaced because often times they would just sit there and do nothing so ooze for weapons and card + spell damage from bloodmage thalmos to not go too heavy on curve
Cole444Train He actually won against agro in this video and lost his match to warrior so..
buljib buljibic yes. if you think he will ALWAYS beat control, and ALWAYS lose to aggro, you are wrong. of course there will be cases where he beats aggro and loses to control. lol. in general, that druid deck is good against control, yet has a not-so-good matchup against hunter.
I know but i still think that this deck would be better with savage roar+FoN against control
For anyone interested, this deck costs around 13800+ dust.
Why is a Shieldmasta run in Trump's deck?
anti-Hunter. Taunt is a Hunter's biggest weakness, and the more of it he can get, the better.
***** I never said it worked all the time. It's just the only thing people can do to try and slow the hunter down. Taunt is also very good against rogue, and Handlock is favored against control priest. That doesn't mean it always works out that way.
I am is cri.
No more "This War is Mine" anymore?
I don't think that's true as its just one video of HS doesn't mean he won't upload this war of mine
ProGamerShow Nick Exactly, that is like saying if trump eats a hamburger or a donut, that he has completely given up on chicken and cookies :O.
Yaaas hearthstone!
3:23 Trump forgets to use hero power, anti-value. Take a picture folks, it's gonna be a while before it happens again.
Why is shade included in every druid deck? There are so many card that does more than shade. 3/3 stealth for 3 mana is meh, and waiting for it to grow takes so long; so why not just change it with something/anything?
finally more hearthstone XD
Yay druid
Super!
Why no azure drakes ?
that would have been funny at 8:50 if the second secret had been misdirection and it hit trump in the face or on of his other minions killing it
But why would it be misdirection, the huntards are too stupid to make their own decks they only carbon copy the same deck and everyone knows what they are running.
TheHackedGamer ah yea true
so much huntard destruction Kreygasm
what can i replace sylvanes witj
My life is complete
So why is there a shade in this deck when the force-savage combo isn't in it? Doesn't seem logical to me.
Because Shade is a good minion.
innvervate shade i still a decent play
bengio ukulele but that won't happen that often. And it's such a slow minion, and this deck is already so slow. So why add another slow minion?
Floris Kaandorp Because this deck is meant to be slow? Win the looong game.
Yeah i dont really get it either, wouldn't a spidertank be al lot more consistent then the shade? And shade doesnt really combo with kel'thuzad...
I guess it does grow easily with all the taunts and you have to do something with your turn 3.
8:28 Mickey Trump!
The first game is the definition of RNGstone
When the face, face, face, face doesn't work out....... Nothing make me happier than a Hunter giving up.
What the hell does Neptulon say when he's summoned? Sounds something like "witness the power of plooooooo water."
Life Is Baguette
omg a shiny Shaman! One day I will be a golden Shaman! One day...
mistake 3:20 hero abil
do more arena man!!! I need u!
How does Trump have 415k subscribers when he only has 301 views. Rito please nerf.
Trump pls make a hunter deck constructed. I think you didn't make a hunter deck this season.
9:00 shouldve innervate hero power'd to avoid misd lethal
You should've wrathed at 2:25
Im surprised tht hunter did not have a kill command or silence in his hand
please finish the this war o' mine gameplay :s
can someone tell me why he isn't using golden cards?
He wants all his cards to look the same. If he had all the golds he needed to make a certain deck, he'd use them.
i find that a bit weird, but its just a personal preference iguess (Y) but thanks
Trump wants all of his cards to look the same. Maybe someday he gets enough golden cards to make a full deck of them.
The Trump gods have spoken. They have given us thou Hearthstone. ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ノ Praise them ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ノ
HAA! Second hunter got REKT!
24:12 why did he trade the shade but not the lore ffs??
Andrew Chang with what? it was stealthed.. you can trade it next turn or turn after for bigger minion
Y comentario en español salvaje aparece.

Mill druid pls
2:45 wait, trump said that... WHAT!?!?!??!!!
What, "sick play" ?
"sick play"
I'm curious about what you heard.
Yea but trump saying something like that, it doesn't seem... Right somewhat
TrueXhomerS
How so?
TrueXhomerS
That's been a thing he's said for a long time.

Trump. STOP. SAYING. WELL. PLAYED. TO. HUNTERS!
that first game was pretty unlucky draw wise
:3
Ancient Lore looks like he's queefing, wierd perspective :P
I love this game an all it's just so disappointing seeing the same decks over and over again on ladder.
FIRST!11!
Not like anyone cares, anyway
Taunt heavy druids beat face rush hunters
12-0 HERE I COME
