Firstly, 'Blue in Green.. what a tune!!
I always love to play over this standard because you never want the changes to end.
    Round and round.
This is a nice way to play it as well, in a slow 6/4 feel.
This backing track ( I recorded) is available for download on my Patreon site, grab a zoom lesson while you are there... if you like that sort of thing? ( www.Patreon. com / Barnabydickinson)
    Secondly,
I have NEVER ended a solo on a LOW 'D' in my life.
This was all made possible because #bachbrass sent me there BRAND NEW INSTRUMENT to try. A BACH 'A47X'.
The 'A' stands for 'go and buy one'
    '47' is obviously my age
and the 'X' is just a kiss
because they are one of the most romantic instrument makers in the world.
I will do a 'proper' video on this instrument soon. I don't usually play large bores (I need to buy a large bore mouthpiece, this was just the one in the case) but I can tell you that the feel and the trigger felt so luxurious, like driving a Rolls Royce. Quality.
    Enjoy x

Thanks mate, I love Brazil 🇧🇷 I toured there with Kylie Minogue AND Blur. Quite different experiences but both a lot of fun

First, this sounds incredible. I've always wondered what you would sound like on a "symphonic" horn or medium sized horn...since they seem be more in vogue than they used to be. Your edgy playing really adds color to the Bach's super heavy core. I've got an 88H coming next week, but I've been calling all over trying to get the very specific Bach 36 I want.
Second, I'll be hitting you up on Patreon soon for (possibly) recurring Zoom lessons. I've been procrastinating.

Shame that Bach was so late to the custom trombone game.

Hey Chris, I don’t really know about that actually? I’ve played Bach all my life and have had custom bits done on my horns ( different platings etc and a 3rd ‘Bar’ across the top of my silver horn so I can attach a mic pack) but as you said Bach didn’t do that directly. I find that there instruments are so good out of the box that there is not much ‘custom’ work to do. I know that both Conn and Bach are really starting to push forward with there horns and promotion etc and this horn is really beautiful to play. I will do a video on the A47x in depth plus Conn have sent me there new horn which is a copy of the 88h ( called 88HNV) watch this space and I’ll let you know 👍👍
