While now being on the front left, in the earlier days of the brand the logo was on the back shoulder to ensure that The North Face articles of clothing would be recognized when photographing, filming or even just observing a climber scaling up walls. So just having it on the front doesn’t mean it’s fake. I bought one from Macy’s a sweater it only has it on the front. I did research and found this.
I always wonder why knackers in Ireland or homeless have the cash to afford 350 jacket, but in reality it must be fake or they stole a lot few weeks ago when the riot broke in the shops hahah... 😂
What about the REAL OLD ones.. Ive seen em with a little red The North Face tag on the care label tags. Havent seen em with the sticker holo tag so idk what to do D:
@@dirkychan7720 it´s like a puffer one but not really sure what model exactly it is, I searched in the north face online page and most of them have the logo in the back except for one model that is similar but not the one I have, and other pictures online most do have the logo in the back, but I found a page that said that there could be jackets without it but they are like the oldest ones, not sure if that´s true
Hey Rory, passing by I would not recognize the fake, but upon closer inspection, like looking at the logos and sticking, it was quite apparent how flimsy the fakes are

I would say the quality of the velcro stitching is another indicator as well!

Thanks bro. Your video was useful, I ordered some jackets second hand and definitely helps before purchasing
Glad I could help
hi! mine is missing the logo in the back but it checks for all the other aspects like the zippers and the labels, could it be real?
possibly, next best thing is to check for online retail pictures of the jacket to see if tthe logo on the back is also not there
