That's a good point for me to say why's it I've done that and my brothers haven't it's kind of self explanatory when you hear it in a conversation about the way you get a different mum from your siblings and it makes sense to me when you say it like that respect the two of youz man .

Great podcast, I work in a&e and the amount of prisons coming in after being the Guinea pig to the latest “drug” is almost a daily basis. Most staff look at them as “criminals” however I look at a poor soul that’s lost there way & society doesn’t help or know how to help. The system is broken. I’m also speaking as a mum who has a 15yr old son currently going through his own battles with youth offending & the criminal justice system. This podcast has answered a lot of questions for me so thank you 😊

Hi @donnc6686 I’m so glad you got something from this podcast. And I really hope your son is just going through a phase and your outlook of compassion and empathy is what our society needs most. So very proud of you 👍. Please let us know how your son gets on.

No problem donn really glad it helped and if we can help with your son in anyways email us. James is the Scottish Gabor mate very, very clever guy. And your compassionate outlook won’t go a miss when a prisoner meets you. I can tell you that from experience. So amazing donn.

No worries, I replied yesterday to your other video when you done a bit of reflecting back on your guests and people had the opportunity to ask questions. I would love some advice/help from anyone willing to help. These professionals don’t even know what a dual diagnosis is when I put it to them. Don’t really want to speak to much about it on here as my son has 6 outstanding charges & been told he won’t be home for xmas 😩 This is me only just able to speak about it without tears.

There's a lot of good of us in the world that are willing to help the next person but in many ways of difference we as a whole can do the smallest things we are capable of and I always say some sort of help is better than none at all and the most good people I meet at peaceful protests etc etc is nuts and if there is more people to teach the ones who might not have grown up with parents and the rest of the community we are around to give a little bit is a whole load of gives and we need a structure on different levels of different things and these shows are the most recognizable way of getting the information out there if you've got the talent use it to your best .

The last time I was on methadone was years ago and I had to go and seek help from a service that I asked to come off of the horrendous drug that your stuck on until your ready to go get off and find a way of doing it right that's a fact of life for so many people in similar circumstances.

James Doch I get asked on a few occasions if I'm related to yourself but not sure bra I just say that I have never met the dude but same last name James bra and I've heard of you before I ever seen you on the box and find you very interesting in many fields of many different things that is the reason for me to listen in on the show your very intellectual and well spoken in a way that you can make sense of the options that's put in front of you and I am listening to you say that it's when you came back to life basically after a life of whatever you where taken and you fought yourself more clever than you thought you were and it's exactly the same for myself to go through some life and get out the other end finding a new you if you feel me bra

Bad problem with a lot of drugs in Ireland and benzos are a huge problem. Regarding the prisons, I've been secretly believing what your saying for a long time. But in jail you can't say these things on the landing. But I'm not blaming prisoners, I highly agree that the things that make people end up in jail are due to government policies.

James, Can I ask a question that I have been thinking about?
Can people begin to address their trauma whilst they are still on a methadone/buvidal script?

We're talking about prison right now ; What's your point on the fact that the prison system has taken the only thing that some of us had in an internal environment that was your rollups and before you start about the health of not smoking I feel ya'h but I don't feel ya'h , ha ha ha , it's not the point I'm getting at it's all about control and if you want to control your behaviour in prison one way is to give back the rollups and you'll have a happier hall not all the time but your in prison and if it's to punish you even more your all trippin I get the health part that is easy but it's the one's who are doing a long sentence or any sentence it's just a point of view that I'm sticking up for the cons on this one it's a relief to have a smoke in an environment where it's very hostile for some people and I've heard through the grapevine a small pouch of tobacco is going for astronomical prices far more than you would expect facts man .
