She fell less harshly and was slightly hurt but not dead. Basil ran to help and so did Sunny, constantly apologizing. She was able to survive, and forgave Sunny, at the same time she apologized to him for pushing him too much. From that point on, Sunny was grounded for some time and had some minor nightmares about what happened but forgave himself after a while and Basil was just glad he was there to help. _The good ending._

this gives me an idea for the mod that Mari survived the fall from the stairs and was taken to the hospital (and starts like always with "Sunny don't blame yourself for what happened" and all that), and she recovers, the group does not fall apart and as if everything will end well, when suddenly the player gets a screamer from something, and something tells the player "STOP CHANGING REALITY, WHAT HAPPENED IT HAPPENED, STOP CHANGING FOR A HAPPY ENDING" and then time rolls back to the incident with Mari, but it went like in the original game, and the idea is that you can’t, just change the past as if you are some kind of god, and you can change reality with one click of your finger (I expressed the idea very badly, and it looks very cool, sorry)

Nah this actually made me sad. Honestly just playing the entire game after spoiling everything to myself (well it was a very awesome review you know?) feels like even more sad... You just feel so shitty seeing them all so happy... Why... Why did this had to happen...
Honestly this ending is MUCH better than what we could have gotten. If only someone made a mod like this where it only takes place a month after Mari’s fall and Sunny’s friends don’t know how to react and Sunny’s trauma and white space/black space is what would have happened if Mari died. Let’s call it “OMORI 0.1”

Also noting: Sunny's expression sure is something. It was an accident and... well, his emotion is obviously fitting with him having made a mistake and Mari's reaction being... you know. Don't know how that would go together with The Recital being ruined, but i guess the context of Sunny's increasing stress and overall annoyance/pain would make her understand, if he decides to bring it up. It's just really nice, and i don't have the capability to explain that.

She did? (Forgive my poor anatomical knowledge, I read this somewhere else.) She likely only broke a part of her spine or got knocked unconscious since a fall like the one she took isn't usually enough to kill someone unless they're incredibly frail. Likely the former since she would have awoken during the strangulation. The glare Sunny got as they ran off that created the "Something" was likely her staring, fully awake while strangulation ensued at her murderers fleeing.
Idk if that's canon or not cuz SOMETHING is Mari hanged and looking at sunny when they went back inside, If it is tho, that'll be disturbing af Imagine having an argument with your lil brother because he broke the violin and then tried to run away, second later he pushes you down and knocked you unconscious. When you wake up you feel lightheaded and your neck is hurting alot, You see your lil brother and his bff walking away, you tried to make out on what's happening but your vision is blurry, you tried to scream but the rope is too tight and you don't have that much energy left. You try to wiggle and untie the noose but you have no strength left. Suddenly you see your lil brother look at you and it gave you hope. But instead he trembles more and ran inside with his bff. You feel betrayed, there's no way he would do this.. right? As death is approaching, your life flashes before your eyes. And then you black out.

Nah this actually made me sad. Honestly just playing the entire game after spoiling everything to myself (well it was a very awesome review you know?) feels like even more sad... You just feel so shitty seeing them all so happy... Why... Why did this had to happen...
Honestly this ending is MUCH better than what we could have gotten. If only someone made a mod like this where it only takes place a month after Mari’s fall and Sunny’s friends don’t know how to react and Sunny’s trauma and white space/black space is what would have happened if Mari died. Let’s call it “OMORI 0.1”

It's actually depressing, considering what gone wrong and how it... just could have not.
On the bright side, the traumatized versions of the characters wouldn't be here if this happened.
Also noting: Sunny's expression sure is something.
It was an accident and... well, his emotion is obviously fitting with him having made a mistake and Mari's reaction being... you know.
Don't know how that would go together with The Recital being ruined, but i guess the context of Sunny's increasing stress and overall annoyance/pain would make her understand, if he decides to bring it up.
It's just really nice, and i don't have the capability to explain that.

She did? (Forgive my poor anatomical knowledge, I read this somewhere else.) She likely only broke a part of her spine or got knocked unconscious since a fall like the one she took isn't usually enough to kill someone unless they're incredibly frail. Likely the former since she would have awoken during the strangulation.
The glare Sunny got as they ran off that created the "Something" was likely her staring, fully awake while strangulation ensued at her murderers fleeing.
Idk if that's canon or not cuz SOMETHING is Mari hanged and looking at sunny when they went back inside,

Imagine having an argument with your lil brother because he broke the violin and then tried to run away, second later he pushes you down and knocked you unconscious.
When you wake up you feel lightheaded and your neck is hurting alot,
You see your lil brother and his bff walking away, you tried to make out on what's happening but your vision is blurry, you tried to scream but the rope is too tight and you don't have that much energy left.
You try to wiggle and untie the noose but you have no strength left.
Suddenly you see your lil brother look at you and it gave you hope.
But instead he trembles more and ran inside with his bff.
You feel betrayed, there's no way he would do this.. right?
As death is approaching, your life flashes before your eyes.
And then you black out.
@@Yessixty yeah that's likely what happened, I doubt the fall actually killed her. It adds an even bigger layer of guilt for sunny too.
@@LightningNoob17 she has permanent knee injury cuz she played softball and got hurt, so trying to balance already hurts.
She prob would be paralyzed because the knee injury already add to the stakes, plus she got some violin shards on her.

@@Yessixty I mean does the knee injury and violin shards really mean she’s dead? She might not ever be able to walk again but I can’t confidently say that she would have died, and even still the outcome of her death would be a lot less worst without staging it as a suicide on top of killing her.
