I remember when this album came out and I was going thru the worst phase of my teenage years. Doing drugs and slipping away from myself. This was my comfort song getting clean and sober. Love to all and you can do it! Whatever you’re struggling with you can do it 💪
The emotion that this man sings with is absolutely unparalleled. You can feel the pain, you can feel the loss and how heavy it weighs a person down, it's all personified by his voice and his words. It's absolutely amazing what music can do, I couldn't live in a world without it.
In tears here. These words say everything I'm feeling right now as my marriage is falling apart. I love you, Seether. You guys always seem to know all the words that will make my weary soul feel less alone. I can't wait to see you live again... best times of my life! Stay safe, guys. Love from Texas. 💛
@@hawkstrike18 I'm kind of in the middle of the state so far enough inland not to really be affected. We haven't even had so much as a drop of rain where I am. People along the coast are being evacuated though. Many homes lost and tons of damage and devastation happening. 😔

Damn Seether is like a fine wine and just keep getting better with age. You guys kill it as always. If you haven't seen these gentlemen live do yourself a favor and go see them if possible. Be careful though, they are very addictive live. You will find you can never satisfy that high without them. Love you guys
I've been fortunate enough to have been front row for these guys twice. What a show!! They came out and killed it both times. Once in '15 and again in '17. I'm wayyyy past due for the 3rd show!! Hopefully, lucky #3 will be soon. 👍✌🤘
I've also been fortunate enough to have Seether host their Rise Fest in my home state for a few years. They are always that one band that when they take the stage, the world goes away. And your are hanging on every chord, beat and word. And the funny thing is they have like no real stage show. But you just don't give a fuck cuz you don't need it.
I can identify with almost every song you've written Shaun. This one is no exception. Yet another to add to my playlist. Keep em coming bro! You inspire me!
@@Deedeememee Seether is one of the best written rock I've heard. Them and the guys at Slipknot make absolute bangers every album. And much of the time find a way to connect to my anger, sadness or frustration at the world we live in now. This album in particular has been great for that 😌✋
Favorite song on album. Reminds me of a song like ‘The Gift’. Mixes sentiments of self loathing with simultaneously needing and struggling with relationships
Seether, I'm not sure how you manage to stay true to your sound and yet evolve on practically every album... but for about two decades you have. Ya'll deserve more credit!
Man Shaun Morgan and Chris Cornell have always been my idols and ive been with them through every lyric since i was a kid.. I dont know who id bee today without people like them.....
Chris Cornell has always been my Hero. I was devastated when he died.. it still haunts me. I've just now discovered seether. And I AGREE 100% MAN. Shaun is so in tune with how I feel in his lyrics.. Just like Chris. And I'm so thankful I found these guys. Your comment really spoke to me. God bless brother.
On the edge of leaving a toxic relationship. I love here with all my heart, which is why deep down I know we both deserve better. This song feels very fitting. Praying for anyone else going through this, it's not easy. I'm a defender so it's hard for me to say no and enough is enough.

The build up to the bridge is absolutely incredible...WHO ARE YOU TO LET ME BLEED?!?!
This song is screaming for a music video. :>

This and Failure for me

I’m partial to Failure.
I like this and dangerous and bruise and blooded.
Don't let anyone cry on your shoulder
Don't let misery bring you down
Beauty fades away as you get older
Such a shame that you hate yourself
When I saw the feelings go to waste
But it all comes as no surprise
And I feel I let it slip away
Left so hollow and dead inside
And I realize I was too afraid
So much wasted time
I feel you drift away
On the surface it seems like I'm colder
Underneath it all I'm not fine
You do well in the eyes of beholders
But I feel ugly as sin inside
When I saw the feelings go to waste
But it all comes as no surprise
And I feel I let it slip away
Left so hollow and dead inside
And I realize I was too afraid
So much wasted time
I feel you drift away
Oooh
Oooh
Oooh
Who are you to let me bleed
Who are you to set me free
Who are you to let me bleed
Who are you to set me free
When I saw the feelings go to waste
But it all comes as no surprise
And I feel I let it slip away
Left so hollow and dead inside
And I realize I was too afraid
So much wasted time
I feel you drift away
