Cant believe i found this track, randomly popped into my head after nearly 2 decades. Wish the band had done more but cant find any info on what happened after the first album.
mega throwback. supported these guys in stoke once with a random band i was in around 17 years ago. great band, super down to earth & they prob dont know it (or remember), but they gave me some of the best advice about the industry i ever received. always hoped they were doing alright.
@@JackTurleyDrumsBRUH! You have no idea. I found you guys probably in circa 2004, I think on pure volume most likely. Me and my wife now, 20 years later still sing this and revolution calling. Underrated as fuck. I found a band called the Moore Family Band, and I always tell people “this is what the fight would sound like if they were now..” Love you guys. Hope you’re all well.
I was in the band 🙃(blue shirt in the video). You might be able to still buy the album "Nothing New Since Rock n Roll" - looks like its on youtube here though ua-cam.com/users/playlist?app=desktop&list=PLDFF6D8581AC476AB
@@10Thirty9 Saw you guys open for Rufio waaay back in the day (20 years ago now?) and still occasionally want to go back to some of that stuff. I doubt many people remember this, but you guys had a handful of stuff on MySpace (I think) that never ended up getting released because you all broke up, and it was killer. Think one of the tracks was called "Shallow"? Does any of that exist anywhere?
It's from Zathura, and yes Kristen Stewart's character, Lisa plays it in her bathroom after she's unfrozen, but not fully aware of the house being in outer space until she goes downstairs.
[ Danny ] It's gold. [ Walter ] "Shooting star. Make a wish as it passes". Oh, That's gotta be the best card in the whole game! I'm almost to the end, look. A few more and I win!
(In Lisa's bathroom, the shower starts running on its own; Lisa, having just been unfrozen from the cryonic sleep chamber with a few icicles on her eyebrows stands up with a confused look on her face; she feels cold; she goes outside her bathroom and checks the thermostat) (glancing at the thermostat) "I'm freezing my ass off! 40 degrees? (sets dial at 85 degrees) "Those savages!" (Lisa goes back into her bathroom and shuts the door) (in the basement, the furnace lights up) (back in Lisa's bathroom, she cranks the volume on her CD player and takes a shower) THE FIGHT (KATE TURLEY AS LEAD SINGER): "I sleep right through the day, I won't even get dressed, my parents go to work..."
god what a throw back i went to school with the bassist matt god makes me feel old

Glad we could help my friend! :)
I've got all the stuff... except shirts I guess. One of my favorite bands ever, thanks for all... 🤗

I'm 33 and can still relate 😆
Haha, 32 but I hear you!
I was rewatching Zathura and I heard this song, so I decided to look it up. Too bad they broke up. I can’t find much on this band tbh

@@10Thirty9 Oh nice, thanks! Why’d y’all break up btw? I’m guessing just general “different life paths” stuff?
Same

I love this
This song was in Zathora. (Idk how to spell) but I remember the girl from twilight playing it.

What the hek this is the only video I found with this song
i think there is just the track without the video too
nostalgia! :)
Big Up Kate and Maria Turley ! They tried man. Class
Mark Daniels nothing new since rock n roll was solid pop punk. Shame they didn’t carry on afterwards. Wonder what they’re up to now..
Jason Lloyd Yeh great band. Kate went on to do DubSteb after this. She was the band !
Saw them in Leicester 2005 bought the cd too, really good.
I just came across this 3 days ago and its my new favorite song, i cant find any of the bands other music or any info on them

Here's one of the albums
Punks 🇬🇧 Not Dead.
Remember to watch this video after midnight in MTV years before the pregnant teenagers and brainless dramas.
That's Lisa's songs from Zathura when she's in the shower unfrozen
Jared Westervelt im hère for thé same reason 😂
Haha yeah. That's what brought me here
Me2 lol
[ Walter ] Yes! Nine! [ Danny ] Good roll. [ Walter ] Good roll? Nine's a great roll. [ Danny ] I meant great.
[ Danny ] It's gold.

Zathura brought me here

biggest flex is that my mom is friends with matt vale
I'm sure for everyone who sees this video, I think I would know what brought them there for this song...
Mitchell Drivas aye, she shit lip sync for the last 15 seconds of the video?
Nick Halbert no it’s not what I mean. I meant for everyone who views this song, they would be brought here with a movie they saw it in.

@@wailingentity No, Zathura! That's where the song was from.
Ahh honestly I used to bum this song when I was 13, it’s still a banger!
Randomly just remembered this from back in the day. As far as derivative pop punk songs go, this is still one of the worst I ever heard.
well i was 13 when we wrote it mate. gimme a break! 😂😂😂
