Oh it definitely was not like this further upstream later that day. There was a guy fishing in the hole I usually go to that had a size 2 or 1 split shot on his flyline thing was massive. I started with size 5 split shot went to then upgraded to size 3 and eventually added a size 4 water kept increasing in depth and speed my trip had a few days of rain. This was 1st year that I had to move out of way for fish coming down too. Never happens in this spot. What was that screaming in the background? You know I was telling someone this trip I’ve never caught a coho entire time I’ve gone up there! If you ever see a 5’6” guy with long dark brown hair and big burly beard in Pulaski 2nd or 3rd week October around town that could be me I’m usually with my oldest son. Definitely can’t wait for next video because compared to the other fishing UA-cam channels I know yours is mostly mountain biking in northern New York these others thumbnail is gloating with their fish but not you and you talk exact same way I do while fishing hell I talk that way while not fishing too. Most time fishing non DSR this year hit or miss 2 here or 4 there last year so many couldn’t keep my hook out of them and if it wasn’t for lodge I stay at I would’ve been there this week not 7th to 11th even got there day and a half early.
@Guitarguy0522 Oct 5th... Salmon are all spawning all over. I've seen browns and steelhead down in the lower end (DSR).. Good luck out there, tight lines!!
