Cross Pollinating Dragon Fruit Flowers At Night 🌼🖌️

Dragon fruit flowers are night bloomers. Since I work late night/early in the morning normally I would look for other flowers in the area that are blooming to collect pollen from so I can get mine to set fruit when I get home later in the morning before they close up. The variety I have isn't self fertile and can't pollinate itself. You need to have two different types together so they can cross pollinate each other like apples. Rarely do the bees do it for me. Although I have two varieties on my trellis, they don't often have flowers blooming at the same time to make it easier. However, I was lucky enough for that to actually happen due to regularly fertilizing them heavily with a bud and bloom booster on a weekly basis. The brush I use is a make-up one since they're cheaper than paint brushes.
