I lost my husband 5 months ago to cancer. We got two short months to accept it. This came up on his phones playlist today and broke me. I relate to every word. “ God I miss you “ 😭😭😭

I’ve been listening to Wasp for years . This song is probably one of their most powerful ballads. I’m so impressed how. At Blackie has taken this band . Their musicianship is phenomenal. When you can make a guitar sing and put forth the pain felt in the song and Blackie is not stingy with his song writing and gives his guitarists and drummers free reign to just play what they feel ….. that is what making music is all about
I’m very much impressed by this song. It’s so out of Blackie’s soul. The emotion is so real! I do agree that this is one of their best ballads , for it’s so sincere......

He's 92 yrs old and dying.
We didn't get along while I was growing up but the last 20yrs or so we became close. I'm going to miss him alot.

My Pops passed on a few months ago..... It was expected as he was in hospice his last month alive. He didn't know anyone at this point. He and my mom were married 68 yrs and he didn't know who she was.
We had a strained relationship growing up but got close that last 20 yrs . I'm glad for these years we got close but, thinking about all the wasted years we didn't talk shouldn't have happened, hind sight is always 20/20.....
If you're not talking to a loved one , an old friend or just drifted apart with someone you were close to, reach out to them, put the grudges to rest. You'll be glad you did and realize how petty egos really are. People usually get this when it's way too late and this is worse than whatever got between you all in the first place. Don't take my word for this? Then find out the hard way.
Such heart wrenching emotions........if you can't feel this move through your soul you must be dead inside. Makes my heart ache.

R.I.P. Wesley Earl Folsom born July 26h, passed on Jan. 6, 2019 at 59 just over 2 months from pancreatic cancer. A pain, grumpy ole paganini many didn't know and many did, the love of my life.

I had lost my mom a year ago from brain cancer, she died August 14th 2020 around 3:45 a.m.
Yeah she died in her sleep. It's going to be a year August 14th 2021 that she passed away. It stinks when our loved ones dies but there's nothing we can do about it. Just keep their memories alive and within us. At least my mom in pain no more.
I'm convinced he wrote this about his brother passing. It's a very personal song.

Dazu kommt, dass er ihn für seinen Bruder geschrieben hat, der gestorben ist als er noch ein Teenager war. Sollte ursprünglich Teil von 'The Crimson Idol' werden in der Blackie Lawless seine Jugendtragödie aufarbeitet aber war aus Zeitgründen einer der Songs die es nie auf die Fertige Platte geschafft haben. Dies hier ist übrigens nicht die Version vom Album Golgotha sondern von Re-Idolized: The Soundtrack to 'The Crimson Idol' , womit zum ersten Mal das vollständige Projekt (neu aufgenommen) sowie der Originalfilm veröffentlicht wurden
