That guitar solo takes me back to the ‘80s when I was young and had a real life ahead of me - or so I thought. My whole family is gone now and my husband couldn’t care less if I’m alive or dead as long as I bring home my pay. Yeah I miss my life!! To all of you our there who think time heals and that all things are possible because you are still young and strong, please do what you can while you can and you won’t be me in twenty years. @@georgeroukis Wish I knew where to start man. It’s been a bitch of a life and I’m feeling like mine is over and I’m just a shadow of my old self. I had a voice that paralleled a cross between Amy Lee and Grace Slick back then. Odd combo but all the bands wanted in the ‘80s were male singers and that vocal style wasn’t acceptable. When I first heard Amy Lee I was in disbelief that she broke through and kudos to her because some woman had too! I did everything wrong and just want others in my boat to jump out before they sink like me. It’s almost like I don’t exist anymore. The solo makes me cry to myself in complete misery. A wild child tamed by depression and anxiety of social acceptance after so much disappointment. Thanks for replying. I do understand what you are saying, but somehow when we lose ourselves we know we’ve lost the battle. Be well and Blessed Be to you!

WASP был супер популярен в СССР. В году эдак 87 когда у нас в городе на дискотеке ставили I wanna be somebody, металлисты, неметаллисты все танцевали метал, столько было энергетики. Ну а та же Sleeping in the fire это баллада баллад. Lovely time.... 😍

Sorry you are having difficult times, back in the 80s I thought my life was planned out well too but due to circumstances beyond my control I'm nowhere near where I wanted to be and divorced. Like you I miss the old me too but he has gone forever. Now you have to take each day as it comes, try to think positive, act positive and enjoy each day as a gift if you can. Stay blessed but never forget who you are or who you were, and most of all be strong and dont take fools gladly. Leave behind the ones who leech off you and move forward with those that truly care.

I am 46 and still a rocker. I listened to WASP for the first time when I was 18 and sorely disappointed with life. I have never stopped listening to them since then. A Wild Child and Manowarrior forever!
47 here and still rocking too for over 30years! .. for me, it was The Crimson Idol that introduced me to WASP and Blakie Lawless's magical voice. But yeah, A Wild Child, and also The Headless Children are still major epics!
