Lately Ive been feeling with no motivation, I see everybody succes but not me, thanks for the motivation kxvi! One day I'll be getting those placements💪
Wwwwow! Dude congratu-fkn-lations!! 🎉🎉👏🙌 heck yes, that's awesome man. Oof. Started from the bottom now you're there! 😁 thank you for the insight, definitely taking notes. You the man KXVI 👨 thank you for sharing and thank you for always inspiring 🙏 💪🏆 🥇 😈
I got the sample pack. I love it! It’s pretty genius having so many variations in the same key. It allows for me to be able to put together ideas really quick. But I don’t use the samples in my finished beats. I use them like sketches in my sketchbook. Just idea starters to get the juices flowing, then I remove the samples once the beat creation process is lit. I made the decision not to use any samples that aren’t royalty free in my beats. But, I enjoy using them for inspiration and for learning. The sample pack was definitely worth the money 💰 Oh, before I even used the samples, the course alone made it 100% worth the money 💰 It’s obvious you put a lot of work into the product. I salute you 🫡 Thank you 🙏🏾
@@kingocowata naw boss. It’s not an add 😂 I actually bought it. And it’s actually good. But the main point of my post is, I don’t keep the samples in my beats. I use them as idea starters and just to learn from. I didn’t realize my post came off as an ad 😂
Awesome video, bro, still think you're the best. Do you think if it was a sample, they wouldn't have recorded the song? And in general, are rappers often put off by the presence of a sample in a beat? Thank u
do you copyright everything before releasing to public? i can't imagine pushing out loops, kits, beats etc without some type of protection (especially if the beats are fire)..
My biggest question is how are you all getting legit credits for these placements? Or is it just the hype that a big artist used your beats? I’m still learning the business side and I’m a little confused on how the placement game works. From what I understand is you’re making beats and sending them out everywhere, but the songs are released and you don’t even know that you even had the placement until a twitter post. So when was the beat cleared? When was the contract signed? When were the splits negotiated? When was the advance given? When are the BMI/ASCAP info exchanged? I’m not trying to be negative at all I just want to learn that part because I always see people saying they got placements with big artist, but never really explain the business side of it.
KXVI, can you make a video about how the beat for 48 by Bizzy and Jenn Carter is made. I know you did not play a part in producing the song, but I wanna know how the sample in the song was utilized to make the beat.
So it's still possible to make money in the music Business and take care of your family even though streams are $0.03 to $0.05 per stream on Spotify that's inspiring
I want to know how u making money...like u never met the artist...like their managers pay u advanced or your lawyer go to them have proper royalty split....plezz make proper video on this topic....how placement works
he already did a video regarding this topic, you can search it up, but basically yes, he let the lawyer to negotiate the price like to not appear in front of the artist like a greedy dickhead :) beside the advance he getting some master royalty split and publishing royalty so on the distance if song getting huge he make sure he got some piece of the cake
@@focaalexandr7536 how though if they aren’t even aware they have a placement until they see it released then they had to listen really hard to see if it was their beat. I’m just trying to learn.

Yo, weird question. How did you make money from artists using your beats, samples, etc?
My exact question. Is it just the hype of the artist using the beat or is it a negotiated placement?

misread that title LOL
i did NOT read "Beat" 💀💀💀💀💀
Young Maria Martin Timothy White Richard
Making emphasis on an artiste not wanting to work with samples while selling your own samples is contradicting
Not wanting unclearable samples, mine are all original and therefore easy to clear.
Why did i read "beat" as "meat"???

Johnson David Moore George Harris Christopher
