Hey Theo, there is some great public salmon pools along the Miramichi River here in New Brunswick, Canada. Non-resident licenses are a bit expensive at about $300 cdn, but some of the pools along both branches of the River really are world class. There is also the Resitgouce, Kedgwick and Upsaquitch Rivers.
Nice video. Though I am starting to regard NFF as "another awesome place to fish you will never afford". How about touching on public access areas? I realize that that doesn't pay for the show, but it may build viewership as well as giving us a more complete view of the fishery. Seeing you haul fish after fish is fine, but learning more about the area, timing, access, and opportunities would be even better.
Theo, Thank you for the valued feedback. Understand what you have stated but recommend you look through our many videos. You will see we try to strike a balance by shooting shows at all price points and accessibility levels. Normally we do include info on time of year, info on fishery, etc...but in this episode we did not. Please look through our library and you will see lots of shows that cover all aspects of access and price point. In fact we made it a point this season to hightlight some great fly-in fishing destinations that are DIY and very affordable, yet give you access to world class fishing. Again, thanks for the feedback.
Should avoid using and promoting the use of tailing gloves when handling atlantic salmon and brook trout... See the effects here: ua-cam.com/video/a8VETvLLa0o/v-deo.html.

Ditch the tailing glove. Kills fish
