  • This is my challenge to any U.K. based Adam Mizner students. Can you push hands with me and make me hop around, jump on the floor or fly through the air like your teacher does? Or are you poor students/the victim of a poor teacher? No violence needed. We can go as gently as you want. Let’s get to the truth.

Suggestion: take a page from Emin Boztepe (from 1986 - look him up) and go to one of Adam's seminars to test out a student or Adam himself in person instead of issuing a ridiculous challenge to build your channel from their notoriety. The onus is on YOU to prove that they are full of crap since what they do bothers you so much. A much better idea would be for you to go join an MMA gym where your ego might get reduced. Then you won't care what Mizner does at all; you'll focus on yourself instead of calling out others.

Well either if you have doubts or not, the story starts when you pronounce a very obvious surname the right way. Either the creator of this video is retarded, or he has zero respect for AM and would like to offend him; and since it seems the latter, of course some are offended too. Adam Mizner doesn't have to prove anything. If you want to experience his stuff, book a place to one if his seminars and decide for yourself if he is OK for you or not. Easy.

If you're selling a product (in the case of AM, his seminars) based on an advertised skill set or area of expertise, yes you absolutely DO have something to prove otherwise you are exactly what the creator of this video said you are, a charlatan. AM produces, endorses and releases content that effectively says "I have mysterious qi powers that can make people collapse or fall a direction I'm not even pushing them in. If you want to learn how, purchase classes with me". If this is truthful, great 👍🏻 amazing. But if it's NOT, then he 100% deserves to be called out on it as would any salesman misrepresenting their product for profit.
Also, if the last name were say "Johnson" or "white" etc, yea, I'd say you had a point but Mizner? Naw man, not that common as far as the vast majority of the globe is concerned. Totally get the creator of this video being skeptical, he has every reason to be. Meanwhile I sincerely don't understand your obsequiousism to this Mizner guy. Are you a student of his? An investor? First, why don't you invest the same energy or even less as creating a bragging video on the internet (of which we have too much already :) ) about him, to research a bit before you form a critique? Because he certainly doesn't sell any mysterious thing. You just don't listen, which is actually the case when one feels to attack someone else by any means and without research. "AM produces, endorses and releases content that effectively says "I have mysterious qi powers that can make people collapse or fall a direction I'm not even pushing them in. But if it's NOT, then he 100% deserves to be called out on it as would any salesman misrepresenting their product for profit." Yes. And how do you test it? You go to one of his seminars and try it out. Or he would haul ass because of a retard who is so disrespectful that he cannot even say his name right? Yeah right, explain that as well. I tell you something, I am not even coming from an English speaking country, but that name has Saxon/German/English origins obviously, goes without saying; and yes, I do think it's full retard or intentional to mispronounce it, no question. You don't understand why another human being thinks its funny when another tough guy is being tough on the internet? Well, I invite you to the club. Otherwise, I do Tai Chi, and thanks goodness at a pragmatic school. Granted, there aren't many in the world, and I do believe that 90% (or even more) of the stuff we see here in UA-cam for example are BS. AM however does authentic, functional Yang style Tai Chi Quan. Since I have been practicing it for some time now, I can see the subtleties to distinguish BS from the real deal, and I can surely say he knows the martial aspects of the art which is mostly not found. But again: if you want to test it, you should put in the work, because a distasteful angry video won't do anything to prove it's point based not even on a little experience, only assumption.

I don't want to offend you, but after watching one of your videos where you demonstrate the application of one of the Taiji moves, I think you'd better pay attention to your personal deepening in Taiji Quan (where you are obviously at (quite a superficial level, judging by the way your body moves) than trying to make yourself interesting on the internet by challenging people who are way ahead in their skills on the subject. And, by the way, it would be really good for you personally to meet Adam and feel which one of you is real and which one thinks that he knows and can do something. A brutal encounter with reality is sometimes very helpful, especially to release arrogant ignorance. I wish you that your desire to meet Adam (whose last name is difficult for you to pronounce, obviously trying to make fun of him, which also speaks volumes for your level of inner practices) is fulfilled face to face as soon as possible. Regarding the actual physics and what it looks like, you obviously don't even know that when doing inner styles, the human body changes and starts to work under slightly different laws, which are not magic, just different. If you don't understand it, then you haven't experienced it, if you haven't experienced it, then your studies with Taji Quan have taught you nothing. I would advise you to find someone who can show you the way in depth. Adam is a good fit, but you'll have to meet him face to face. To be saved from your doubts in the best way - through personal experience. And you don't need to explain what real combat looks like - I have enough experience on the subject. And, really, instead of trolling the internet, go find some of the people you challenge and give them a try. After all, you're the one who needs to prove something to yourself, not them. I am extremely confident in my ability to yield and redirect pressure against strong BJJ opponents, using principles from judo, Daito Ryu, aikido, and tai chi. However, there are some lineages of Daito Ryu where the videos look so fake, and the training partners fall/dive in what seems like the opposite direction of where physics says they should go. In addition, what is real can appear fake and what is fake can appear real. The only way to know is to experience it for oneself.
Aside from any real fighting application, which seems to be the only concern of "the fighters" out there, traditional martial arts offer a wider learning experience which should extend to enhance and transform someone's life.
When one talks about fake, there is a whole media storm of fake, but this doesn't mean that everything that may appear to be fake is fake. The only way is to feel it for real.
Having said all that, it must be taken into account that in most Taiji classes and workshops, there will always be a certain amount of complicitness between student and teacher, otherwise things could very quickly get out of hand and people will get hurt, often badly, usually the so-called "student". I have enough experience to know, that it would not be of any use to challenge or test someone like Adam. If it's not of any interest to you, or you doubt its authenticity, then you're free to decide what else you would prefer to study and practise. For the people that are interested, they will go and find out for themselves. There are plenty of examples of good and bad teachers of everything, but that doesn't mean they are good or bad at what they do. Some are good at teaching, yet lack some ability. Some have lots of ability but are not so good at sharing or communicating and transferring that ability to students.
Keep an open mind, without being gullible nor judgemental.

That was an awful lot of writing to say so little. I’ll address the very few points you brought up.
It’s quite clearly fake. There’s no ‘appearance’. You can’t change physics.
Being ‘complicit’ and hopping around like an imbecile are two entirely different things.
If you are pushing hands gently then there is no danger of anything ‘getting out of hand’.
I would love to believe in magic. As I’ve said in every video on this, I’m more than willing to be as relaxed and gentle as they want me. I want to feel this magic.

You make some valid points and you are entitled to your opinion. Perhaps you might want to attend one of his workshops and see for yourself. It's unlikely that he, or anyone, would necessarily open up about what they do. Of the few genuine masters who I have known, they keep to themselves and focus on their own school and their own students. As a consequence of the internet and social media platforms like UA-cam, we can now see a small part of what some people teach and practise, but it's a very small part.
I understand you, and others, may think it's all fake and seek to prove it. Of course, you are welcome to try that approach, so good luck to you.
Personally, I believe we can all learn far more by focusing on our own practice and not care much about what others do. It sounds like you're intrigued, even obsessed possibly, with what Adam is up to. That in itself must be a distraction for you, as are my long replies...

One broader comment seems important to make here. You seem to be claiming (in replies, not in your video) you have some background in Tai Chi Chuan and even compliment some people who have trained in such practice in Tai Chi, Bagua or XingYi--the three main "internal arts". Yet you haven't made clear your background and whether you know the difference between the body mechanics within a defensive system like Tai Chi and the internal power aspects that are built over time using Neigong, Chigong and other training systems in addition to extensive push hands and free form sparring. If you don't know what it feels like to engage with someone who has such internal power, then you haven't progressed very far. I was trained in Tai Chi Chuan forms, some Chigong and very little push hands until years later. I know very well that internal power looks fake to most people who have not actually felt it with someone who is capable. But there''s a big difference between healthy skepticism and degrading the practitioners whom you foolishly label fakers without having any relevant experience. That's a sign of both ignorance and disrespect.

The man you are speaking about is 7th generation, that means something, and if you feel it’s bull shit then why do you even practice traditional Kung fu? English is not my 1st language, German is. And sorry, to not reply to the written questions only, but I also consider the video a question on its own. All the below are personal experiences. They are of the Yin kind.
Unroot: The hopping mostly is a face giving attitude especially in Asia, in public events, anniversaries; but there also some masters you slap their students on the back head, if they put on this show.
One of my teachers demonstrated the following: taking a person up, throwing a person straight forward, take a person down softly and forcefully. The comment was to take one up is the safest,
because all the force goes in the lifting, the body can expand. The straight is more dangerous because while you are drifting back the head might land 1st on the wall. Taking down softly is like putting a baby in the cradle, taking down forcefully is the most dangerous because the body can escape between hand and floor, bones in the feet might break. In all this methods if done by a master one does not feel any force/pressure entering the body.
The worst another one: hand on the chest, a blow, where one would still stand, but lifting one`s shirt you could see a “print” of the pushers hand.
Once another teacher was going to demonstrate on me, but reconsidered to give some theory to the students. He was on my left side, putting his right hand on my left shoulder, when suddenly I lifted straight up without feeling that coming. The soles of my feet were above his knee. So, while I was floating, he apologized, for having lost control. I came down again without tilt, safely, easily.
So how can that happen? With a hand on my shoulder, he could definitely not push me up so far, and I could never fake that jumping so high, not even, if I went down before to start with?
I did not understand it at all that time, some 20 years ago. But now I can say its within physics, biology, and neurology in non linear behaviour.
So more comments: No touch is always pre touch to display a “false” intention.
I once tossed a guy several meters through the air through the hall, could never repeat that. And exercise was to jump a few meters, and then put the palms on the partners chest without intentionally pushing or shoving. It was late at night , 11hrs training and the body was very exhausted.
To look at Mizner videos gave me a better insight in these and other “strange experiences.
This is to encourage to meet Mizner, if money and time allows it, its worth it.
I met top masters from the Yang, WU, Sun and Chen style who could do this manipulation without an incoming pressure/force is felt beforehand. Good training.

Thank you for your reply, I appreciate the time it must have taken you but fear it was time wasted. I now have been only doing Adam mizners warm up and 5 stances for a little over 2 months and the other day I did a finger strike (snake hand) someone in the stomach and knocked them into a wall 5 ft away. Granted it was a small guy and I am 200 plus pounds. But still I have never punched someone and knocked them back in such a matter. And I wasn’t even trying to use force. Just speed, because we were fooling around, case in point, it’s not so much that Adam mizner is so special, or even that his students are may or may not be special i postulate that his training modality is spot on, it’s simply the right recipe. Within his warm up are fajjin and body loosening off all the joints, nei gong to help achieve song and ground force path. And 5 standing postures done everyday as he suggest the body cannot help but be transformed, if you stood every day for 35 min coupled with 20 min of body loosening and neigong, I think you would experience energetic a also. I have bee training internals since 1990 and I don’t often come accross a training modality that has me scratching my head as much as mizners did. So once again I suggest you try his warm ups and stances for 10l days and see what you see.
I post a daily live of my mizner training ,on fb if you like I will post one on yt you can learn the warm up try it for 10p days and maybe then you will find more joy perfecting your art then trying to poke holes in a another’s livelihood hood and life’s passion,

I would suggest you make a comment on the movie that he participated in in 2018, 'The Power of Chi', I think it's called. You can rent it for about $5 american. There, he pushes hands with some mma fighters and other athletes who I am sure you would consider real fighters, and other athletes including Brian Shaw, a 425lb massive strongman. There he demonstrates the skill level that can move them, even though they don't wish to be moved. Now... that's now 'fighting', and it's not 'hopping' around. It's however, a very real demonstration of a skill set that the man has worked apparently long and hard to develop. Whether it's of any interest to you and your martial arts is of course another thing. However, the movie is there, and unless you wish to pretend that great mma champions were paid off to pretend to be moved around by him- which other naysayers wanted to insist- former heavywt mma champ fabricio Werdun, former middlewt mma champion Lyoto Machida and another olympic fencer, the aforementioned worlds strongest man, Brian Shaw, and a former linebacker in the US NFL. They all were impressed with his particular skill. What it's worth in the scheme of things is of course up for debate- however, it is rather childish of you to pretend you can't pronounce the guys name. That's just silly.

    • @msgoldberg
      @msgoldberg Рік тому

Oh, first, in the above comment I misspelled 'Now... that's not fighting' , so please note that. Also, appropo your hopping issues. With the massive Brian shaw he most certainly was not making this enormously strong, connected up power lifter hop about, and he and Shaw were discussing things and he mentioned connected up Shaw's strength was, and one could see that making a boulder of a man hop about was not in the cards... but that wasn't the point. A more serious question would be what are those particular skills and what might be their uses. Anyway- I would suggest you review the movie I mentioned and then make your comments based upon that, rather than the particular video here. JMO

Oh and I'm a lot longer in the tooth than you, and been around the block similarly. I don't particularly care for phony pretenders- and that would include chest pounders like yourself. When I was young, I practiced some things and when I thought this was crap or that was crap I didn't join discussion groups and harange about this or that: I wrote polite letters and showed up at the front door of the people I wished to question. If you were more than a chest pounder, you would likewise go and knock on their doors... not playing toughman here. I don't think your serious. Seriously people go and check thinkgs out for themselves- they don't make braying challenges. Oh and sport, watch the cheapo film for $5 and then go call on Machida and Werdun and ask them what they deal was. Maybe you'll want to go up to their faces and call them liars about what happened. Mind you I have 0,01% martial arts background. Just a taiji online course. All I can say, it works. The practise has to be dilligent and dedicated. The teacher, but even half assed should give results within 5 years. For me it isn't about the martial arts, for me it is just learning that there is a 180degree different approach to life than the way that we are programmed as living beings to approach life. It is more of a thing about perception and truly seeing what it is that we really are. It is not for everyone and not everone is ready for this approach to begin with. I can only tell you that I had so really interesting results in that 4 day seminar. It is a subtle art, and the increments to succesful application are miniscule steps.

So for me it doesn't matter what martial art a person does, but when the life philosophy of stopping fighting isn't in it, it isn't the right fight.
There is allot of deeper subconscious layer stuff that comes up through the internal and the letting go, instead of reacting to the animal mind (fight or flight). Look, I mostly only know these things well in theory, but I would love to be able to anchor myself into the deeper layers of stillness (peace).Sometimes I absolutely suck at this part, but that is a whole long personal story of who I am and possibly why I am the way I am.
Either way, internal practice does some things to our insight into ourselves that our forward geared minds and being (body/mind) and outward focused martial arts hardly touch upon. There are some people that achieved internal skills through outward focused MA's,

Anders, obviously a legit 6th generation heir in the Yang tradition, demonstrates a couple of similar things on UA-cam. He must be almost 80 years now and made a career out of it. Of course I never saw him doing stuff like Mizner, having a friend twisting his thigh and sending chi there etc., s.th. that anyone could rebut on the spot if he is not in his pocket. It’s the people that are attracted to tai chi that seem to be the real problem. Decades of Kung fu films and anime’s have taken their toll. These people don’t want to put in hard work. They want an easy ‘magical’ system.

Hello, Let me explain videos with Adam & his students. You see the training exercise to feel JIN energy and let the body react. It is just TRAINING, it's not fighting or contact sparring.
Real martial tai chi is practicing on special equipment using real force and using inner energy. If you practice some material arts that approach is not familiar to you. Also, tai chi could be different: you can practice it only for well-being or as a hobby but not as material art. Hi Rob, I do agree that most of chi demonstration are indeed biomechanical tricks, but with Mizner, it's another deal... For having trained personnally with him and expierienced directly his touch, I can tell you it's not fake. I never jumped in a steady position like some other students, I guess my feet are always ready to move and my body doesn't fight back and can somehow accept force, but... what I felt, I never felt before, it was such an experience ! Crossing hands with him is just something else, like your nervous system doesn't understand what's happening and your body is just bugging, the first time he touched me I was simply unable to move. I asked him if he could do it again, he explained me he would come normally, without activating his pong and it was "normal", I could adapt to what he was doing, Then he told me, now I open the tap and... I felt like overwhelmed by something, after a second I could move my feet, but I was simply stuck to him and could not unplug. Then he sent "something" with no biomechanical movement at all, basically chi, I felt like a fucking punch in my stomach and everything collapsed inside my body, while the only point of contact was between our right forearms...
And another thing that I only experienced with Mickail, when you approach him with a martial intent, wether he is just standing, there are simply no entry to his "bubble", you feel that whatever you would try to do, it's already handeled and you're done, don't know how to describe it another way 🙃
One of your friends already knows how things are. Or is he hypnotized too? By the way, similar accusations and mockery are often found against Sergey Ryabko by people who have not seen him live, but only on UA-cam. But you and I know that not everything can be seen on UA-cam, right? And that some of the "fake stuff" is actually quite real, right? Have a nice day and good luck in your search for the truth! :)

I been practicing since 1992 and have had 5 teachers I and NO students present could push over.
So when I read Damo's books and see his nei gong is 100% legit. and can tell in his bearing and tone and even the body that he is the real deal in terms of nei jia quan smart hands and more and that he says adam is the best he has ever seen in tai ji, and adams form too is impeccable the few minutes of old yang style we see.
THe huang Lineage has the same reputation for such skills as cheng man ching his teacher did and cheng fu and even more so we hear crazy tales of telekenisis and levitation from the 1st 2 generations.
I have had enough peak experiences in real world fights where my shen took over and I did shit I could only credit to my teachers transmission and my faithful as I could practice.
So, this can be faked. many have and been outted.
nobody who met adam AFAIK has outed him as a fake. This only comes from people who have not taken the traditional route which is go challenge the master respecfully!
as for the exact nature of your questions I don't use those terms, so I can't address them. But my teacher actively frmo 1998 to 2003 regulalry, the senior of the senior of CMC, had all the famous skills of cheng and tt Liang except the ability to use Lu as a magnet you can't escape from.
We see adam excel at this, now maybe jonathan could and I never saw it. But liang said cheng could, and cheng fu could and BK frantzis says same of cheng fus son - i forget which - you could not disconnect if he didn't let you.
Now, if you want to fairly ask - can these skills be used in a fight as well as a demonstration, i would pay to see this like and lover of internal martial arts.
but lets be real, only fools risk life threatening or crippling head iunjuries to prove things to others or for money.
THis is not fuedal china - or even pre muhammad ali's and many other boxers decline or demise.
So internal stylists of master level have no ego for this sort of thing and they reprove the art by teaching not overt challnge matches.
Word is Huang DID and kicked ass - I have not followed up to see the allged grainy video.
Sorry if i was impolite above. I have thought ALOT about this post in the last few weeks and looked much deeper into adam.
I have kept a close eye on tai chi systems as I could for 30 years. and the how, what and when and why of the training itself is too me a telling subject. Adam has a few videos that speak to this - his earth man heaven video in particular.
So - until i see evidence otherwise and I do plan on going to a workshop of his and trying a year or much more of his training - I will go with my gut brain and heart and intution all saying adam is the real deal most likely none of his videos are faked, although the skill level and prior training of students is a variable,
if he is a fake, he fooled damo, who is a martial baddass from all i can tell, i know him mainly through nei gong and his books and excellent alchemy book, again a subject i am no novice in. I have had deeper nei tan training than tai chi, although i have practiced tai chi and nei gong mivch more as thats what is practical for me except at top of my game.
Adamhas admitted he has gone well into damo's alchemy and that means he has become at least 1 more dimension deeper than the average tai chi creature.
IMO if you get alchemy there is no longer a sense any of these skills of higher masters are impossible. one must simplyu have excellent teachers and practice correctly many hours a day for many seasons. that is where i trip up. the many seasons in a row.
I just urge you to be less intellectually sceptical and more practically sceptical.
To flip things politely if i may, what/whose internal system do you think is likely to yield the highest skills and what are those?
DO you not believe in the 'spooky action at a distance' physics experiment? I can link it if you do not know to what i refer.
I think it comes to a belief in traditional internal martial arts and daoist alchemy being a real multi dimensional past 3 pair of arts or that the higher end is myth and legend.
I used to wonder but after practicing alchemy on a 10 month retreat and rebooting it many times and taking it ever deeper every ten years or so, and after meeting and practicing with jonathan and fank allen, well, i think damo and adam are exactly as they appear and say.
Adam is a bit too pugnacious and crazy hardcore for my taste meditateively - lol - BUT, I see no evidence the people who touch hands with im, including the snarpilogus guy - who is obviously filing in a external style dojo he teaches in - it is all as they say.
THat dude is genuine, humble serious af and is trying out the 50/month course, and finding it is a steal.
I just signed up for free 1st month. why? because i think Adam has these skills and a few hard years of training in his system is my best bet to getting them.
that simple. If i touch hands with him, i promose to try and ask someone to film and do my best to NOT let my self get stuck to his arm like so many lol.
hope that long rant repy is worth the read.

i see serious resistence in several of adams demo videos. and genuine shock they are so caught.
THe word from EVERYONE who has gone to him is ADAM wins. FInd me proof ANYONE has gone to challenge him and disproven anything.
I think the butt of the disagreement is deeply philosophical; or rather do you think the old tales of the yang family are true?
No touch knock out is rare if it exists, has adam claimed this?! why is it coming up?
everyone who knows the history of CMA controversies inmodern times knows about empty force and that it is real and doesn't work on non students.
now, let me ask you about radical Lu/rollback power, acording to Bk Frantzis and TTLIang they say a masters arms are magnets you can not escape from.
Adam shows this and says it is Lu. This is how he forces folks down and then moves them with his nei jin.
My teacher studied with tt liang and was his senior student. he had to touch me to push me, but it took me 3 years of serious practice to feel it as it was happening. His teacher says cheng had magnetic arms. I believe this.
BK frantzis says his yang family teacher - zhen do i think or maybe the elder one absolutely had magnetic arms you could not disengage from. and BKF was already a serious baddass by this time. frank allen his sr ba gua guy also I know 1st hand as a devastating barely tap you punch that felt like telephone pole.
newtonian physics can't explain much if any of this. whereas the theoretical physics can. see the 'spooky action at a distance ' stuff all over the net.
SO that is my question for you. do you think the higher non newtonian physics skills of the old masters and their modern top disciples are real?
I do, as i have experienced them.
that does not of course prove adam. what DOES make me feel comfy paying adam for lessons at 50/month after my free month ends in a couple weeks is he lays his system out in a earth man heaven video and it is trad. af.
also, damo mitchell is a serious and deep practioner, I done nei gong off and on deeply (fucked i know) for decades and when I have gone very deep i can read the intermediate levels of damo's nei gong and KNOW he has followed the same deep training but to crystallization. he says adam is legit, the best he has worked with actually.
I trust damo alot. I been training as much as i can since 1985 in meditation and chi gong and very intro IMA and real tai chi and indepth nei gong since 1992. I worked hard to get to my modest place whivh let me use serious peng in a fight against a knife and crow bar weilding pair. TT LIAng in my tai chi uncle Sturat Olsons book says if you practice well a long time when you need it the chi (jing he means i am sure) will come out. he was right. And i am very off/on about it. but still it worked so radically i don't even know exactly how the crowbar ended up in my hand from a wipe, while the ex wielder was sitting the dust confunded mayne 7 ft away.
So, I do think radical training like damo and adam do will lead to skills like the 1st 4 generations of yangs and their students are famous for.
I know 1st hand fong ha and frank allen and jonathan russell and stuart olsen all have the basic mastery skills. I know there teachers did and so on.
So - while adam's stuff looks crazy, i admit, I see no sign of crazy grifter in him or damo. indeed their 'wanted criminal cult leaders' video was genuinely real and hilarious and tragic in thts adam's 1/2 bro IS a pedo - of a horrific kind in the past - but that is not adam's doing, we don't control our siblings unless we be the legal guardians, no?
SO yeah, i am guessing you at heart maybe DON"t believe in the higher skills.
I can't say i do/n't believe in no touch punches as i not experienced or seen it. again - is adam claiming this? i not heard or seen that at all.
I am glad somebody has reached these levels. it gives me enough hope to spend some (more) thousands and try and master it myself before I get 65 :-)
good luck with your practice and challenge. but i think you going about it mostly wrong, go meet adam, be polite, ask to film when it is a good moment, if ok, and tell hium you can't believe it but....
all your hype about not paying a grifter is silly and shallow tbh.
there is too much evidence he is dead serious yang style lineage holder and serious af meditator too boot, no doubt a HUGE part of his success in tai chi.
I will close and say i think his lifestyle advice, words and actions and teaching all align as i would expectr in a master.
damo and his talks are a total breath of fresh air.
      sincerely,
      DR
ps I thought alot about this post since i 1st posted. I think you need to penetrate deeper in to your doubts and what can prac tically be done to test them.
has ANYONE reported meeting ADAM and NOT being blown away by his skills? anyone?! ALL the naysayers seem to be arm chair masters.
Suyre you challenged his students in UK, but maybe he has no seniors there of note yet.
DO yourself a favor and try his free month, keeep a journal of the practice and do a go fund me to pay to go to a class.
hell I will pitch ten dollars in a month or 2 once i get steady with my new class bill.
or conversely if i get to his workshop 1st i will ask to film and do my best to not get caufght in his peng an lu net. lol

I have never met Adam, and I find him annoying, but I've trained for over a decade in the same lineage, Huang Tai Chi. My teacher can do to me exactly what Adam does to his students and others. It is an incredible feeling to get pushed by someone who knows what they are doing.
You need to experience this yourself before calling it bullshit. Adam is not the only one in the world able to do this. My teacher can and there are many of Huangs students world wide. Wee Kee Jin is another.
To be fair, I would not have believed it if I didn't experience it first hand, and that is what kept me there after 20 years practice. Adam is annoying and I dislike his marketing and mysticism but he is the real deal.

@@indefenceofthetraditionalma It depends how he does it, but yes he can. He can push me straight back or downwards, anywhere really. Sometimes a downward push causes a jump back reaction.
I doubt that video's will convince you but have you seen the Martial Man's videos, or perhaps the Power of Chi where he demonstrates with uncompliant MMA champions, weightlifter, NFL players etc.
Again, I don't particularly like the guy, but having practiced in his style and had others do this to me, I say again, he is the real deal.

@@indefenceofthetraditionalma No, Australia. I started out doing Chow Gar Tong Long, but all the best students also did Tai Chi so I graduated to that, approximately 20 years ago.
I can assure you that I am non compliant, and would never be party to faking any of this. Do you really think that Mizner's many demonstrations not only with his own students, but many others outside his school are faked? Have you thought what that would involve? Paying off literally hundreds of students and others, who are all prepared to look stupid for the sake of Adam Mizer. It makes no sense.
Anyway I do hope you get to experience this. I understand your scepticism.
This doesn't defy physics at all and isn't magic. The best way I can describe it is if you have ever put an orange pip between your fingers and it shoots out, that is kind of how it feels. You can have the strongest "base" and when pushed you entirely lose it like you are standing on a thin branch instead of the ground then you are flying back.
I might add that this is as traditional as you get as far as Tai Chi goes. Most schools I see are more about having a form that looks good but lacks the principles in movement.

What are you trying to prove by challenging others? If you win that'll only mean you are better than the person you defeat and they are thousands of people out there who can defeat you easily too. So what's the point of playing the big type with your limited skills in the art that you practice??? You should invest in self accomplishment instead of comparing yourself to others.
