UA-cam generated subtitles are hilarious. Your friend apparently bought a bike from a rectal dealer 😂
To the few saying there are too many ads… This man is providing you with FREE content that is shot, edited, and payed with his time and money. We have heard Freddy tell us all that he isn’t rich. For Christ sake he’s on a bonneville that’s older than some of his audience! He’s just like us, he’s trying to make a living and he’s giving you free entertainment. Help the man out by being happy for him and his sponsorships. He’s advancing in life and he deserves it for his work. Stop crying about a 1:00 ad in your free content and applaud Freddy for being recognized by companies for his hard work. Keep it up Freddy! Your doing great. Don’t be discouraged by the nay sayers who are jealous of success and ignorant to their own ignorance.
That’s extremely kind of you to say so, hugely appreciated. Thank you Lance🙂 Have a fantastic weekend!
Its true - you would watch more ads on ITV, and the content would be shite. So just calm down. You either pay for netflix, and not watch ads, or you are going to have to wait 5 seconds before you hit skip.
I see a pattern developing here. Rubbish UK winter weather arrives and Freddie and Monika slip off to somewhere warm, exciting, charming and not beset by rubbish UK weather. Good work, there!
This is very true😆
Yeh, but we have the sring to look forward to 👍🏻
Completely agree - These videos should be censored stuck in the cold lake district having a Starbucks ha ha. 😂
@@ianbell1197 it’s lovely up there!
Uk is the opposite to south europe, it provides shitty weather but economic gains
That classic Alfa Romeo GTV is top notch.I agree 100% its one of the nicest cars ever made.Fine music good food and great company. Its my kind of life.
They make excellent driving vehicles as well! Nothing better than hooning vintage Alfa Romeos with period correct tires 😂
Monika never removes the minor mistakes! Great stuff as usual.
The Alfa is stunning. The Italians produce beauty.
Great video! Cefalù is wonderful, but seems only fair to point out that those were Fiat 126 and not 600. I hope you enjoy my home island more and more!
I'd guess at a W123 Merc in the back too
I’m loving every second here, and grazie!🙂🚗
Thank you for the beautiful travel stories. They are an inspiration to me!
The Husqvarna Nuda is a amazing bike. As you said, a complete weapon. Wish they were still in production.
👍🔥
A future classic for sure. Already so desired, limited production, ..
It’s the first one I’ve ever seen!😳
Fabulous sunshine on miserable East Anglian day. This channel is the second best thing after actually being by the Med!
It's always cool when Freddie checks out the other motorcycles! I always do the same thing.
I cannot help myself!😆
Pleasant viewing , imagining the Quinqueremes of the ancient navies dotting about those waters. looks like a nice place to visit...out of season.
Easy to get there by train too then you could have had a bottle of fantastic wine at the bar with a balcony over the beach. It's heaven in there especially after a bottle of red.
Just found this channel and i can’t stop watching your videos are the best
Agree totally as regards the GTV.. Beautiful, belissimo...
Heaven.
Sun, motorbikes, beautiful cars, Italian coffee.
My local Italian bistro in Chelmsford actually does Cannolli, and one a week is enough, you are right. It's ricotta cheese inside, and yes, very rich.
We are definitely following your example when my good lady finishes. 2 years.
Already have the small fiat and bike, just need the trailer. .
A great watch and excellent camera work and editing, too.
Continue.
Happy, safe travels 👍
Ahhhh yes; ricotta cheese, not cream. It really is heaven🙂
What a fantastic place! Thanks so much for taking us there you two!
Thanks for sharing your adventure. I saw that red Alfa Romeo earlier in the video. I have only had one. It was a 1991 164L. I bought it new in the Washington DC area. I loved it. Never had a problem.
I don't know if you've ever watched the Italian TV series "Inspector Montalbano", but Cefalu is really reminiscent of some of the locations in that. If you haven't, then it's worth a watch. In the UK it's in Italian with English sub titles.
I’ve never seen this, but a huge amount of people have told me to go and visit the locations of where it was filmed
What a lovely place to be! Well done, you two. Also, whomever of the two of you chooses the music for your videos deserves kudos for having such good taste. You always have such nice, perfectly appropriate music that accentuates the overall vibe. Please keep the videos and the music coming.
Agree. Much better job than "Wish you were here..?" did back in the 1980s.
Bandit was a great bike, 400cc in the 90s grey imports . Got myself a Honda cb-1 400/4 grey import at the time but always fancied a bandit in red. Starbucks decaf soya all the way !
A Bandit and Starbucks fan- I’m in good company! I genuinely loved the Bandit- genuinely quick too!
Love the humour, content, music, and Monika's gifted eye. Just love this channel. Take care guys. Travel and ride safe. Love from NZ as always.
I'm kind of a sad a little bit... cuz this Episode comes to end..that's mean I Enjoy every moment of it 🥇👌🏻
Freddie Monica you are a very very good in this entertainment work...
I'm sure it's a matter of time this channel will reach a million subscribers.....and you deserve it Freddie 👏 keep it up
After Months following this...I can tell this is one of the best Channel I'm following......
Always Thumbs up 👍🏻 be safe 🙂🥇
Thank you so much, really delighted to hear it Abdulaziz!
Freddie and Monika, you must visit Taormina, on the east coast of the island. Not only does it have the most turquoise water l have ever seen, but also a fantastic open air Greco/ Roman amphitheatre. Knowing how you guys like your history, it really is a great place to visit, not only for the swimming.
Great channel.
Thanks Steve, I’m just planning a ride tomorrow so I may squeeze this in🙂
Great stuff. So beautiful! Love the enunciation humor. Canaloni 😁. Brits get the same thing when saying aluminum in America. Aluminium. Condominium? No aluminium.🤔
😄😆
I would have feasted on the cannelloni, the cannoli and a cassata. But then I'm a glut for Mediterranean food. Love to see the bikes everywhere you go. Keep the laughter and videos coming Monika . it is great to see tourists because it represents world peace and harmony.
That Alfa 😍
Those Alfa GTVs are one of the best looking cars ever made in my eyes - Absolute perfection! Another great video. Well done!
Hi , Nice one Freddie , one syllable to many , and all hell breaks out , table 21 ? and it,s the enemy next door . Well done , they have your card marked . Thanks for the video , always fun in the sun , with you two .😉👍
Those were Fiat 126s in that abandoned garage not 600s, the GTV 200o was stunning but parked behind it was an even rarer car, an Alfa 156 Cross Wagon, hardly any of these jacked up Sports Wagons were made. Great video
You need a Hornet video Freddie. You have had too many signs 😂
This is very true!
Enjoyed a slice of sunshine as we are finally starting to fill our reservoirs in UK. Monika did make a cut!
Your location looks much better than Messina that was tired and run down when we visited Sicily pre covid, that classic red Alfa is just pure eye candy.
Yes I went out with an older girl when I was 18 she had one of those alfas. All old alfas were design heaven
Sicily is a fascinating place; beautiful, rough around the edges, pristine beaches (just about the most beautiful I’ve seen)… and fairly dirty cities with a government that don’t seem to empty bins. It’s a gigantic mix
Swimming trunks Freddie…🤣😳
A beautiful place beautifully filmed, well done and thanks from a damp and dreary Ireland
Thanks Richard👋🇮🇪
It looks absolutely stunning there 👀👌🏻
Fantastic capture of the atmosphere Monika ❤
Great filming and footage, Sicily looks beautiful 😍
So enjoy your videos.
Had to laugh at “so hot, 26 degrees”. Living in Queensland, Australia, at 26 degrees I’d just be considering if it was getting warm enough to ditch the Jumper 🤣.
26 degrees is quite close to the threshold where people don’t go to work in the UK due to it being a health hazard!😆
Lovely Vlog Freddie/Monika. Beautiful looking place. Loved that Alfa.
Beautiful, thank you both for sharing with us again
What else to say or do ? ✨ … laying on my sofa with baguette, a very tasty cheese from Colmar & a wonderful Côtes du Rhône enjoying this Sicilian late summer impressions ❤ wow 🤩
I am just so jealous I can not find the words to cover it ,fantastic place guys again you have knocked it out of the park luvin it some real cool bikes too what more could you want .😉👌👍
Really appreciated, thank you!🙂🙌🏻
Some of your best videos Sicily .
Really appreciated, thanks Michael
Cefalu is the first place we went to abroad in 1973 when we were very young. Next year it will be 50 years. I keep thinking about going there on my motorcycle in 2023. Oops we meaning my wife.
I can't believe the weather there, got wet through today on the bike. Have a great time, it looks like a fantastic place, looking forward to the videos.
Thanks Dale, it’s live the finest British summer’s day here, every day. I had no idea it’d be like this
Hi Freddie. We stopped in Cefalu for a couple of weeks back in July (Very hot) mostly BMW GS everywhere with Vespas and a few moto Guzzi . Lovely little seaside town you have to try an ice cream bun. Visit the square if you can also in Palermo visit the Catacombs and the Opera house. Famous for the God Father scene. If you get chance ride up Mount Etna. Always plenty of bikers up there and it's a stunning view. Hope you and Monika enjoy it.
You’ve summed up the bikes exactly as I would; huge numbers of GSs, Vespas, and a pleasantly large amount of Guzzi’s too! The Catacombs; next up on our list🙂
You are going to have to swim back to the mainland to work that cream off. Great episode!
I really am- Monika’s softly suggested I “try a fitness app”
0:18 Oh, yes! 2:15 The Bandit was a great bike. 600? 6:15 Lovely old Fiats. That V-Srom looks good in orange. My God. A Nuda! I used to want one so badly. It has a high compression 900cc version of the 800cc BMW parallel twin. I fell out with KTM for a while after they bought Husqvarna from BMW. 9:50 Stunning old Beemer. It must be around 30 years old.
Your panniers: can you remind me what they are, please, Freddie?
Starting your bike after four days: remember me telling you about my MT-01? I got back to Portugal in early July after over two years, eight months in Thailand. I'd left an Optimate battery charger on it. I turned the key, expecting a struggle to get it started, but I needn't have worried. It started first thumb of the starter.
Great video. I didn't realise Sicily was so beautiful.
It was the 600cc Bandit- still 80hp and quick (in my eyes!).
The panniers are Hepco and Becker C-Bow Rugged- they are superb👌🏻
Oh wow- eight months in Thailand- INCREDIBLE!! Those trickle chargers are game changers
@@FreddieDobbs Two years, eight months in Thailand.
H&B C-Bows, alright. I have lined up a new lockable semi-soft pair of 23-litre jobs: The C-Bow Strayker.
Loved it...very relaxed and feels like I'm right there with you. Enjoy, can't wait for the next update.
“Cannoli is not good for you on a diet.”
Blasphemy, I say. I gained at least 3 kilos in “muscle” over the summer in Firenze, alone.
Beautiful video. Haven’t made it that far south yet, but will be there spring 23.
Cheers
I’m aiming for the same “muscle” gains too!😆
Awesome video and awesome content can’t wait for the next video Thank’s Freddie and Monika
So happy to hear it, thank you Jason!
What an awesome channel, really enjoying watching your videos, the bikes, the views, the food. Amazing 😁
15:15 Budgie smuggler alert at one o'clock.
What a cool look. Said no one ever 🤮
This is the European style (I just don’t know if I have the confidence to try it!)
waiting for more sicily adv
Freddie and Monica, love your ever popular channel - especially 12:50!
Looks awesome glad to see your going swimming more. Just about to head off to Tenerife. Looking forward to a bit of heat as it’s rainy and cold here 🥶 ☔️ enjoy the weekend - ti auguro un meraviglioso weekend ciao 👌
Have a brilliant time in Tenerife!🙂
We're in Los Cristianos now and it was 28C today ,loving it.
@@colinpettit3448 fab weather ☀️
Bit Jealous now Have fun and spare a thought for us poor Brits at home watching things go from the sublime to the ridiculous
I cannot stop watching Sky News Rohan- it’s absolutely incredible!
10C cooler and chucking it down around Ipswich for most of today; your timing appears to be excellent once again this year. As for going swimming tomorrow, Felixstowe doesn’t quite have the same appeal sadly.
Keep up the great content and have fun.
I can’t argue with this Ian!😆🏊♂️
Visit Erice! It’s not far from Palermo.. a stunning Castle on the mountain with a perfect far away view and a veeery curvy zigzagging road!
Btw. There is a perfect beach in Mondello (its a satellite-town of Palermo) right over the St.Pelegrino Mountain.
Freddie and Monika, you are traveling in the footsteps of D.H. Lawrence (he lived in Taormina for two years)
I had no idea!
hello, good afternoon, Freddie and Monika, enjoy your holidays and don't eat the oranges on the streets, they're for decoration, they're not good for eating, greetings from Valencia 🙏
I wouldn’t want to spoil the beautiful view- I did leave them all on the tree🙂🍊
Thanks Chema!
They are decorative like here hahaha 😂
@@chema1546 Valencia is lovely with the orange trees. 🙂
Ok 👌👍
Maybe in Spain too, just from Valencia, olive trees is a decoration too ( in the streets)
Really nice footage. I really enjoy the long trips you take. Be safe you two.
Freddie. Fantastic vlog. Myself and my wife miss Sicily and that reminded us of Pozzallo. If you get chance take a ride out. The old town, beach and cafes are amazing. Looking forward to the next vlog. Don't be doing a Daniel Craig impression walking out of the Mediterranean in ya blue shorty swimmers hahaha
Well there goes my plan for the next video!!🩲
Bravo Grazie Mille
@6:11 these are Fiat 126p, very popular in Poland back in 80's and 90's. If I remember it corectly these had 650c engine.
This is really interesting- I’ve been told a few times that the 126 is loved in Poland!🇵🇱
@@FreddieDobbs Oh yes, for quite some time these were one of the most popular cars and had quite a following. We call them "maluch" which mean "the little one".
Fiat 126p were made in Tychy and Bielsko-Biala as Fiat had their factories there.
Ohh Freddie, your Italian needs some polish 😂😂. You’re at a cafe bar where there is no ricotta filled pasta!😉 Hope you’re both enjoying beautiful Italia!🇮🇹. You both are fantastic!
It’s pathetic- I like to think my Italian is quite good… until I speak to locals and they have no idea what I’m saying.
@@FreddieDobbs damn you’re funny!
@@FreddieDobbs Sicilian dialect is nothing like Italian
Funny how you say it. The gs 1250 and the gs adventure 1250 have been the most sold bike for the last 7 years or even more (obviusly with the gs 1100 and 1200 at the time). Currently the most sold bike is the benelli trk 501 that is a smallerer version of the gs, and the gs/gsa are the second most sold ones
Really interesting to hear this, thank you for sharing Massimo🙂
Looks like your Headlamp is beem up the Sky Freddy.
Thanks Hanspi, I will check this
Fabulous video Freddie. Sicily looks amazing. I wonder if at some point you could visit the house and beach where Inspector Montalbano lived. Punta Secca I think it's called. 👍
Love sicily, the cannolo filling its actually ricotta, wich is a type of cream cheese.
You should visit taormina, and gole del alcantara beside the obvios trip to the Etna.
Cheers!
Thanks Jacob, I can’t even spell Canollo correctly (I’ve just checked my title spelling😆).
Etna tomorrow for me!
Que bella! 🌞
Freddie one day can you talk about the Benelli imperiale 400. I'd like to know your opinion, and it suits your style.
I absolutely must- they’re still not a common sight in the UK, but I’ll find one🙂
I noticed in the past few vids, you've become a watch-wearer now Freddie.
Well spotted🙂 It’s the REC Watch TTT Escape- I really love it!
1st class video as usual, best wishes.
Thank you John!
Another great video. Are you guys planning another Q&A anytime soon?
Thanks John! Absolutely- I’ll do one within the next few weeks🙂
8:39
🎯
Hey guys, love your channel a true inspiration. Have you tried the calzone yet?
Thanks Martin, I haven’t yet but I must this weekend!
You would need to do a finance check on a boat here today😂 looks great there!
It sounds like we left juuuust at the right time!
Its a Fiat 126!!!
It's a beautiful place. Are you going to be staying in the North or exploring down South to the Baroque Towns and Syracuse?
Also, don't miss Agrigento and the Valley of the Temples on the West coast.
Thanks Tim. I’m planning an all day ride tomorrow as we speak, so I’ve just saved your tips🙂
@@FreddieDobbs Fantastic - you'll have a great day. We can't wait to return (this time with a bike too).
In the previous video you talked about the unruly traffic in italy , come to india and have a look at our traffic and italy will look disciplined thats the main reason why i love travelling on a bike than driving a car its just so frustrating the idiotic things people do on the road
I must experience the Indian traffic- I’ve heard it’s quite an experience!😆
Canoli offtake please!
Amazing country❤ how strange that on September this country will host world championship of basketball! FIBA desicions as FIFA😮
Second this time....
Getting closer
Next time Kevin🙂 I hope you enjoy it
loser
@@fasthracing And now I am a tearful loser. Thank you for your kind sympathy.
looks like southern spain . witch one is warmer in the winter ?
It does look and feel like southern Spain. I think the winter weather is fairly similar
8:43 is The Royal Jordanian in town?
Hey Freddie, 8.57sec. Benelli leoncino 750
Thanks Ilias!
Leave the gun take the Cannoli
2 FIAT 126
CarVertical: How do they get all that data on these vehicles?
Freddie, does Monica have a FitBit watch ? She must do miles every day…following you and catching up with you everywhere…you always drive off and leave her !!
Why panniers are they Freddie?
6:06 it's a Fiat 126
were you there in September or October?
11 th this time.
That is still a win in my book!
Nice flog Freddie, is there still an American naval base in Catania.?
What was the town you visited?
Nice, but '"cannoli" is the right spelling. Thanks,
what model was that ducati
So sorry Vishwas, I’m not sure
Just for spelling correctness, it's "Cannoli", not "Canolli". Double N, single L. :)
