Hi Christina, I've wanted to make this comment and observation multiple times but keep forgetting to. You and I are on many different Channels, you are always so kind, polite and upbeat to everyone. I have noticed the same also! She is a light among shadows with a smile for anyone whose path she crosses. It DOES make the world a better place and one person's path clears it for others. @@AllThingsSocialSecurity absolutely! People get "noticed" or "praised" for being heroes or doing something magnificent. Not many receive kudos just for being polite or wishing others well 😊 it really does make a difference in someone's day or life. And if it didn't or doesn't, it sucks to be them. Well, if people can just get a slap on the hand for collecting benefits for not really being "Disabled", why can't someone get married to a millionaire and still collect SSI? Same thing in my eyes when looking at it from a law abiding citizens eyes. I guess that's what I would say to a Judge, too. Never thought 2 wrongs make a right but, in 2024, the law has shown me that yes, depending on who you are, it could.
That rich SSI taker will get at least a slap on the wrist. Insufficient IF it was by illicit intent, vs. not being that bright. SSA world made acronyms all sound the same. The removed the term welfare from the description of SSI, so replace it with "needs based" which is more false palate verbiage, so they would not know it is welfare and so they'd be comfortable become dependent on it and look at it as a ENTITLEMENT. It is not an entitlement - it is a flat out gift of charity from income earners, plain and simple. But letting people know that may encourage them to try to become adult self sufficients, non-dependents, happier people, and once that happens, their vote is lost. Sad but true. Some powers will sacrifice humanity and well being for their own greater agenda. Vent over :)
@@AllThingsSocialSecurity I was just being sarcastic, really, kinda, I guess. Not starting anything, for sure. Just all the craziness that doesn't make sense in any World, yet seems to make sense in this one, somehow, some way 🤔
On a different note, I think it's cool that you are Church "shopping", for lack of a better term. I did that in College and had so much fun. I am Lutheran, but, loved finding more upbeat, livelier worship services where people opened up their doors, hearts, hugs and anything else you needed or asked for, from them. Or, somehow, they might have already sensed the exact reason you were there. Those are the truly amazing people and places of Worship we belong.
@@DebLindley-xg8gz No worries, I didn't think you are 'starting' anything - we are a bit likeminded for sure. It all comes down to greed and power over others. I too am "lutheran" if my baptism controls, but haven't been in a Lutheran church since - there wasn't one in our town, and so.... we girls just had fun at Sunday school, youth group, etc. I love my podcast listens to a few faves (one passed shortly after I found his archived sermons) and listen NIGHTLY. But, I do need to get out, so this will be a fun and educational way to do that and who knows, maybe I find a congregation I can really embrace. I am not holding my breath but you never know!
