Tori katsu is exclusively chicken. Karage can be anything ranging from fried mushroom to fried shallots, so it makes sense to include tori katsu instead of karaage
i would like to point out an error: Chicken Lollipops in India are mostly made with the wings, not the drumstick. The wing is cut into two, and the meat is scraped to one side with a knife to make it into a lollipop shape.

I'm Dominican, and although we make pollo frito at home just like you showed, we usually prefer Pica Pollo which is crunchy deep fried chicken with the best spices. Also served with tostones (fried green plantains) and with Dominican ketchup! You can find pica pollo in any corner of every city.

It comes with a sauce too. Tangy spicy thick gravy. Some restaurants serve little bit loose gravy too so that people can have some bread along. I would recomment you to try the one with thick gravy. Ita absolute yum.

As a foodie I expected Chicken Pakoda to make the list on behalf of India since its much older than Chicken Lollipop.Last but not least this fried chickens around the world list is an extremely delicious roster.
How do they get India wrong every time? The spices you mentioned are for chicken pakoras. The chicken lollipop is an Indo-Chinese dish that's marinated with chinese spices, coated with batter, deep fried and tossed in sticky sweet, hot and spicy sauce. And also the lollipop cut doesn't chop off the meat but pushes the meat from the chicken wings onto the top to create that shape.
In India they don't cut off that extra meat to get that loli pop... They scrape off that meat upwards.
