- In this video of Pax Dei we are doing a fresh character and looking at all the basics of setting up a base and what the alpha version of the game has to offer so far.
Combat is very limited at them moment in Pax Dei, but we will be also covering that as well in this video. This alpha is just about crafting and building so the lack of combat is to be expected.

Really enjoyed this video -- it's the first that really gave me a feel for the what my first experience in Pax Dei will be like. Not only that, it was delivered in the same spirit as the 'Two Old Guys', which made me feel right at home.

My only question is can we capture NPCs that we attack and make them our companions like knock them out and then you can take them home

Not all mushroms are for alchemie. Exaktly Divine give you a stamina buff. :D Bad beveare another mushroms, thei can you giftig and you HP is only 1/2 for time debuf.
the game is lagging or low fps even solo gameplay?
My game bugged out a little. I was not able to raise a furnace despite having all the ingredients etc. lol
God I hope they changed the sound when you pick up branches...
All of the sounds are really bad lol. I swear I'm always hearing weird thunking sounds while I'm standing there doing nothing.
@@GutsGamingI was just talking about this last night, I keep thinking my structures are about to fall apart due to insufficient support.

I like the idea of the game, but I think they need to get rid of the "everybody can make everything" at the start. May have a "real time" leveling where you have to specialize (e.g. like EVE Online) so you just can't. This brings players together from the start and interact with each other. Sure this will be later the case, but this already did not work for "Dual Universe". The game absolutely needs early specialization. I think the best example here is the pretty unknown game "ECO" which is a social masterpiece. Right from the start you go into interaction with other players because you actually have to trade.
I'm also not a fan of the 100 smelters you see on one spot but no house is build. I think there should be the demand that some stuff must be build within a house etc. (also like in ECO). I know the game is pretty early in developement, but currently it's insanely barebone for sure and far off from what they want to do. I mean all that we can play can be done within a couple of days with assets from UE5 store.
Yup...gone are the days of classes and professions unfortunately. They call it an MMO but nothing about this game is an MMO really.

How long does the closed beta last for? Why would they of gave 1000 codes out to Zach for a Beta that's only gonna last a day or so? At least that's the way you make it sound in the video? I truly don't know how long the beta is gonna be.
Fantastic video tho mate, I appreciate the walk through I always enjoy these types of videos. This might sound odd, but content creators get shit on when it comes ro credit to where credit is due. Just to make a quality video like this and push out is EXTREMELY time consuming, & you wouldn't understand this unless you have experienced it first hand. All I know is I get it boys. As a smaller content creator I get it, & respect the hustle. Thanks for your time!😊
