The S2 Custom 24 takes the original PRS guitar, the Custom 24, and re-imagines it with stripped-down features and a new aesthetic. Retaining the classic maple top/mahogany back combination with our classic body shape and an asymmetrical beveled top, this guitar has a resonant, powerful voice. Its versatility comes from its Maryland, USA-wound 85/15 pickups and 5-way blade switch, offering all the same sounds as the flagship Custom 24. Familiar for PRS players of old, and a fresh take for players of all types.
After ten years, the PRS S2 Series is being updated with USA-made pickup and electronics for 2024 (and beyond). We are proud to bring this added value to what has become a fully integrated part of our manufacturing line and product offering.

I just got one of these a few weeks ago in the black amber finish. The asymmetrical carve takes some getting used to. Other than that, this baby sounds and feels very similar to my 2022 Core Custom 24🤘🤘🤘

love that the s2s now always have American electronics, but I'm sad to see the Bonni Pink Burst go! A S2 Custom 24 with that finish is one of my dream guitars!

The 10th Anniversary S2 Custom 24 is still available in many stores in Bonni Pink Burst. Same USA electronics with a Cuban mahogany neck for $50 more.

Beautiful guitar but PRS Guitars Please provide a satin neck option also for custom 24 for both the S2 and SE models because not everyone wants glossy neck its a small request

CE24 and SE CE24 have satin necks.

Sorry but the best wiring is with a 3 way toggle and push pull for coil splitting for each pickup independently. And I prefer two volumes controls and two tone controls. And move the toggle switch it’s kinda being blocked by the trem. And have you done a S2 with a Floyd rose?
