Nice. Make sure you watch a few UA-cam vids to be sure what to watch out for. One of the biggest issues with the 4th gen 4Runner is frame rot/rust. They are VERY prone to rotting out. There’s also some engine related issues such as the secondary air injection system which can be very pricey if not repaired by yourself. I believe the go to channel to watch is called “The Car Care Nut”. (I think…) 👍
Thats one of the first things I did on my 4runner, but now im putting blue LEDs on radio/hvac. Im going to do the gauge cluser a bright midnight blue, but it requires soldering, so i have to be careful with that one
How do you know how to do all this diffrent stuff on a vehicle you have never owned? For example disassembly of the control unit from the dash? Do you buy a Haynes or similar type of book?
It’s all pretty self explanatory but I DO, definitely, watch a few UA-cam vids before hand to be sure how things come apart so I don’t break anything. 😉
lol i changed out a bulb on my ac climate control panel a few months ago spent $14 on a oem bulb and i swear it was burnt out again less than a month. was a pain in the butt getting that part out from the dash too, ill just live with it not working.
Since you've changed all those bulbs, you should also change out the bulbs for the Hazard light switch and the Tailgate window switch. When those go out, you really cannot see the switches at night!
@@MikeyJames333 it’s been a min I do believe it T3 And T4. Because some of you buttons are smaller then then you climate control lights. If you do you gear shift light and glove box those lights are T5 if I remember right. There’s few UA-cam videos you can watch can you exactly what bulbs to order.
I replaced the ac/heater lights with 74 led lights color cool white. Will change the dashboard cluster which takes 194 and 74. The 194s will be cool white the 74s will be a warm white. Will also change the console light to a 194 cool white led. The glovebox takes a 74 will change to a cool white. My Sony stereo radio has leds in it.. the ignition switch was also changed to led cool white. The dome light takes a 4618 led bulb. It was changed to a Sylvania plain led bulb. Led bulbs were bought from Super Bright Led company. The outside lights around the Camry are from Sylvania Zevo Super Bright leds. The headlights are Oracle lighting V Series. They have no fan for which I like. The things I can't change are clock, hazard, cigarette lighter, and master switch light on driver side door.. the vehicle is a 2000 Camry LE. From the way the 4 Runner lights looked they looked like 74s. I have put in the leds myself. I live one state up from you in Kentucky. Enjoy your Toyota 4 Runner.
Loving the new videos. I'm in search of a 4runner myself right now. So I'm pickup some new tricks. Thanks

That's so cool that the new owner even commented on this video 😀
I just replaced mine on my 08 and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was.

Good job Babe!

Nice!
Whenever I i fix something on my older 4runner i always try to make it better, an upgrade
Right it may be a little bit more expensive for Led bulbs but they would probably outlive the car
you got a Toyota too wow.
amazing content, I watched every second of it, even do it is completely useless for me :)

Darn. Was it definitely the correct bulb?
Awesome

You also can use white led lights to make it more up dated. You won’t have that orange color. I wish I could send a pic of mine.
I’ve seen that. Pretty cool! Personally, I’m into the factory look. I like the old school way. 🤙
Where did you get the led lights?
@@MikeyJames333 I order mine off Amazon
@@stevenfancher7308 thank you, what do I look up, t3 and t4 led bulbs?
