@@antoniocusman1970 Yeah that's why i am considering this one. This resolution is also nice for decent FPS (am now using a 4K screen, so i will lose some sharpness, but it's always a trade between FPS and resolution).

love ur video and u greatly show the curved angle and design, very good (unfortunatelly its too curved for my taste) @4:24 i just ordered for my wife the 27ich LoL version, it looks awesome. I still have to wait for an Oled monitor that fits my needs of 34" and not cruelly curved and bulky like thisone. The Samsung with their crome issues and quality issues are also no option.
I'm in a similar dilemma since the 42" LG C4 and this monitor in 39" model are the same price. I'm leaning towards the C4 for the better resolution/PPI, integrated speakers and it can also be used as a secondary TV in the future if needed.
I have this monitor and play on consoles and the image isn’t really all that like I would expect with a oled . Anyone else feel this way or do I got something wrong?
The issue when playing with consoles is that if its full screen, you're playing in a stretched image which might not look that great. You would need to play in 16:9 with black bars. If image still doesn't look as good as you'd hope, you might want to switch to a 4K OLED like the LG 32GS95UE, or a glossier panel like the ROG PG32UCDM
I might be the oddball here, but I prefer the matte coating because glossy ones ruin my sense of immersion. It makes me feel like I am looking out a window, especially if there is just a tiny bit of glare. Also, I live in Florida where it's constantly sunny. I have a 42" 4k tv I use for some games and it seems to catch some glare no matter what. Way to often I can see my own reflection in the TV and it gets very distracting, versus my 27" ips with matte that catches no glare. Currently this monitor is on sale on Amazon for $750 so I hope to get it soon..
Im currently aiming at the Asus PG34WCDM but in where i live its costs about 1659$ , but then i came across this LG monitor which basically has the same specs as asus and costs about 1173$ where i live , What would you recommend? Do you think i should pay more for Asus Or just stick with LG ?
Definitely this one; even though you’re getting a matte coating, you’re also getting the latest OLED Technology from LG which is brighter, better subpixel layout for clearer text, and has a higher refresh rate of 240Hz. It might be a hard switch because of the matte coating, so I would probably wait a newer ultra wide QD Oled monitor

That’s awesome 🔥 I’m curious how the 39 inch will be since it has the same resolution 😅 I’m hoping the lower PPI wouldn’t make it worse. 39in review coming soon
Yeah the ~82 PPI was very low 😅 Gaming still looked amazing though. Still, this 34-inch isn't bad, but since you're used to 4K 32-inch, its a harsh transition.
same monitor,is it normal when i play game fullscreen and set the game resolution as 3440*1440 like shadow of the tomb raider, but there is awalys black border beside the game.i also tried some game resolutin named 21:9,same thing happened.but when i play a 21:9 movie, everthing just came back to nomal, there is no border when i play 21:9 movies.i see that 21:9 is 3360*1440,the monitor is 3440*1440,but still the game resolution is 3440*1440,the movie is 21:9 ,how cames the opposite?
I’ve never played that game, but if it has black borders, then most likely the game doesn’t fully support the 21:9 UltraWide. Best way to find out is trying Warzone or Fortnite (free to play), these are games that I know support the 21:9. If you see no black borders, then the above is probably true.
@@FIREWOLFTECH true, mate!turns out that Fortnite works in really fullscreen. i cant imagine why those teams don't fix that.maybe they work just like me,the problem leader never mentioned is not a problem.
Hi i thinking to get a new monitor but i can't decide between the asus PG34WCDM or the lg 34GS95QE-W, i play game but now not to much for my college so basically i pass more time doing productivity than playing also i love watch movie in the best resolution as possible and also i have a macbook pro but i never used both pc at the same time so which one u recommend it to me?
Since you mentioned movies at highest resolution and MacBook Pro, I would suggest the PG32UCDP or PG32UCDM. These are 4K OLED and even though it’s not ultrawide, you get a way higher resolution and the extra vertical space makes up the small loss in width. Plus these 2 have USB-C to easily connect your MacBook. There’s also the AORUS FO32U2P which I’m currently testing out. I think you’re better off with these since you’ll be doing more productivity and the higher PPI will help out a lot while still having great gaming performances
I’m assuming you’re referring to the 4K OLED AW3225QF. It’s a beautiful QD-OLED and as long as you have control over lighting, you get better clarity without the matte coating. Colors also looked better 4K is also sharper than WQHD resolution. In my opinion, if you have a strong GPU, I would go for 4K OLED, the difference in size isn’t that much, and you do get the added benefit of higher vertical space with 4K.
Hi fire wolf , i bought this screen aswell few weeks ago and i wonder somthing why HDR not looking so great like it should look , spesioly when i enable HDR on movies that have support to HDR there is tiny difrence on the colors, but nothing spesiol that feels great, i wonder if you tried to run HDR movies and have the same problem as me, aswell what profile you run HDR on , since seems HDR looks difrente on each profile that you chose
I’d recommend using windows HDR calibration and then I personally like to increase the contrast on NVIDIA control panel to 70% I’ll cover more HDR on future videos
Honestly, I wouldn't get this for console because of the ultrawide screen. I know PS5 does not support 3440x1440p (21:9 ultrawide), guessing Xbox won't either.
It should be the same with the PS5, you can either play in a wide stretched image (21:9) or switch the aspect ratio to the native 16:9 with black bars on the side. If you’re using it just for series X, then I recommend getting 4K 32 OLED
I really really want to buy this monitor, i'm upgrading from asus VG249Q 1080P. The only thing that really worries me is the screen burn-in. that scares me a bit
Screen burn-in is not as common as people lead on. Burn-in safety features in newer t.v's and monitors help to eliminate it. I wouldn't worry about it unless your leaving your screens on 24/7 without turning them off. Hope this helps
its brighter and has a matte display which should be better during the day. The Refresh Rate is also higher and has a more aggressive curvature. I think the difference in display coatings (G8 OLED semi-gloss) vs this matte coating will be something you'll have to see in person to really decide if you like it better or not A subtle upgrade would be the MSI 341CQP : ua-cam.com/video/FTWzklO1-Pw/v-deo.html

LG 34GS95QE and alienware AW3423DWF? Consider that I have a normal use, I edit videos, play games, watch movies etc.
I heard alienware has problems with fan noise
Of the monitor…
It doesn't have SPDIF port?
Mine says 60Hz instead of 240Hz. How can I change that?
Go to the display settings, then advanced display, then click on the refresh rate and change it to 240hz
Hows the text fringing on this monitor
I recently purchased a lg 32 inch nano ips monitor for my ps5. Thinking of returning it and upgrading to oled
OLED is a nice upgrade from ips 🔥 I’d recommend if you have the budget, a 4K 32 OLED for a better PS5 experience
So 800R or 1500R curved for pc gaming?
I have this monitor and play on consoles and the image isn’t really all that like I would expect with a oled . Anyone else feel this way or do I got something wrong?
The issue when playing with consoles is that if its full screen, you're playing in a stretched image which might not look that great. You would need to play in 16:9 with black bars. If image still doesn't look as good as you'd hope, you might want to switch to a 4K OLED like the LG 32GS95UE, or a glossier panel like the ROG PG32UCDM
can you please tell me what games you play on this video??
Great review! May i know what model is your monitor arm please?
Its the Ergotron HX
“Creamy blacks” that’s a new one
🍦⚫️ lmao
0:53 what wallpaper it looks sick 😯😯
Hystar Mythic Dragon on Wallpaper Engine ;)
I might be the oddball here, but I prefer the matte coating because glossy ones ruin my sense of immersion. It makes me feel like I am looking out a window, especially if there is just a tiny bit of glare. Also, I live in Florida where it's constantly sunny. I have a 42" 4k tv I use for some games and it seems to catch some glare no matter what. Way to often I can see my own reflection in the TV and it gets very distracting, versus my 27" ips with matte that catches no glare. Currently this monitor is on sale on Amazon for $750 so I hope to get it soon..
I don't think you're an oddball, almost all monitors are matte for that very reason ! If you do get it, I'm sure you're gonna love it 🔥
Just got mine, beautiful thing I been loving it. Only thing is I cant use HDR because the colors are so washed out it depresses me haha
Im currently aiming at the Asus PG34WCDM but in where i live its costs about 1659$ , but then i came across this LG monitor which basically has the same specs as asus and costs about 1173$ where i live , What would you recommend? Do you think i should pay more for Asus Or just stick with LG ?
U should buy the lg because that monitor doesn't have issues with ghosting cuz asus tuff monitor have noticeable ghosting in their screen.
Is this eARC compatible?
No eARC, just a 3.5mm Headphone Jack
The Asus beats this for sure, with the only thing going for the LG is the less gamey look. Always good to see options though!
LG also has a bigger brand recognition as well. But I agree I would go for ASUS for the usb c , kvm switch, and better color options
@@FIREWOLFTECH I’m also biased because I’m a new owner of the Asus :)
Whixh Asus? @@MicD1
@@thekingreyrey PG34WCDM. It’s a beast
🔥 That's awesome !
LG still ends up winning since they supply the display lol
But I'm glad ASUS puts a nice emphasis on improving and adding features
Is it 4k?
How does it compare to the aw3423dwf? which would you choose?
Definitely this one; even though you’re getting a matte coating, you’re also getting the latest OLED Technology from LG which is brighter, better subpixel layout for clearer text, and has a higher refresh rate of 240Hz.
It might be a hard switch because of the matte coating, so I would probably wait a newer ultra wide QD Oled monitor
@@FIREWOLFTECHi hVe the 27 inch one i just got and im torn between sticking with it or getting the dwf. The coating is super strong on the 27inch one. Like anything light like skys looks crazy grainy. But its 240hz.
@FireWolfTech how long do you think until the next qd oled? I really want to move to 34 ultra wide, but don't want to get this then shortly after it's worth much less because the next one is out.
How would this monitor pair with a 4070 ti super?? I'm on the verge of buying it.
I’ve been close as well haha
@ have you bought it? 😂 I’m like a week away from purchasing it, was hoping this guy or someone in the comments would know if it would pair well with that graphics card.
@ not yet 😂 it’s on sale on Amazon do very tempted haha
@ I’m probably just gonna buy it and just upgrade my whole pc 🤣
I got a basic 4070, undervolted. Most games run 100+ fps if I don't go messing around with ray tracing
can someone help me I'm having an issue where my LG 34GS95QE-B monitor is capped at 144hz I tried every tutorial there is and still nothing!!!
this is my final solution.
What are you using ?
so this monitor is not for a ps5, do the games looked stretched
console doesn't support ultra wide monitors you can force it but the image will appear stretched.
@@Dodgingssbut it says 16:9 will it still appear stretched?
I ordered the 39in one today to replace my 45in last year model.
I’m going to stack with my alien oled 4k😍 about to be dope.
That’s awesome 🔥
I’m curious how the 39 inch will be since it has the same resolution 😅 I’m hoping the lower PPI wouldn’t make it worse.
39in review coming soon
@@FIREWOLFTECH after going from 2k 27inch to 4k 32 inch, i wouldnt even touch it. I did try the 45 inch version and that was horrid with the PPI.
Yeah the ~82 PPI was very low 😅 Gaming still looked amazing though.
Still, this 34-inch isn't bad, but since you're used to 4K 32-inch, its a harsh transition.
Is this thing 4k?
same monitor,is it normal when i play game fullscreen and set the game resolution as 3440*1440 like shadow of the tomb raider, but there is awalys black border beside the game.i also tried some game resolutin named 21:9,same thing happened.but when i play a 21:9 movie, everthing just came back to nomal, there is no border when i play 21:9 movies.i see that 21:9 is 3360*1440,the monitor is 3440*1440,but still the game resolution is 3440*1440,the movie is 21:9 ,how cames the opposite?
Was resolution does ot get with the ps5?
Hello 4k 32 and 34 3440x1440 too much difference about res and sharpness ?
There's a noticeable difference in resolution and sharpness between 4k (137ppi) vs 3440 (109 PPI).
In gaming, its harder to tell
Should i replace this my 55 lgc2 ?
So what’s better? This or the Alienware aw3423dw
Dell is crap
should i pare this with my 4070 system or 4080 system, i am currently using the 4080 system with the Alienware dwf.
Doesn’t matter the difference between the 4070 and 4080 is so small
How would you compare this with aw32in?
I’m assuming you’re referring to the 4K OLED AW3225QF. It’s a beautiful QD-OLED and as long as you have control over lighting, you get better clarity without the matte coating. Colors also looked better
4K is also sharper than WQHD resolution.
I’d recommend using windows HDR calibration and then I personally like to increase the contrast on NVIDIA control panel to 70%
I’ll cover more HDR on future videos
How well does the 34" work with a XBOX Series -X ?
Buy an OLED monitor with a good warranty that includes burn-in, such as an Alienware 3423DWF that comes with a 3-year warranty .
I have a Samsung g8 oled, is it an upgrade or more of the same?
its brighter and has a matte display which should be better during the day. The Refresh Rate is also higher and has a more aggressive curvature.
I think the difference in display coatings (G8 OLED semi-gloss) vs this matte coating will be something you'll have to see in person to really decide if you like it better or not
A subtle upgrade would be the MSI 341CQP : ua-cam.com/video/FTWzklO1-Pw/v-deo.html
@@FIREWOLFTECH thx a lot!!!
@@FIREWOLFTECHwere you referring to the 2024 model or the old G8 OLED? From what I can see the specs on the new one and this LG are identical
Burn in ?
