There is no step up to Yr13 content wise really. UCAS is the thing that takes up loads of time so get it all done earlier in Yr12 summer holidays and it'll be an absolute breeze! As he said in the video, he's submitted it all now and once you've done that you don't have to worry about it and you lose a bunch of stress so there's a massive incentive there. Also, the tests in Yr13 don't matter as much as Yr12 as you've already got your predicted grades. Use them as a way to find gaps in your knowledge to effectively target your revision
hi I am in year 8 but still i take advice from your videos like i use anki , todo tasks and it does boost up grades. My GCSE will come up and I am working towards that so if I will find yr 11 stressful then i wont even be ready for yr 13.
your very ambitious which is really good however i would not stress yourself too much over year 11. your going to feel burnt out which is a revision lesson in itself to do well. i regret not spending more time on my hobbies, friends, trying new things and just being a kid. since your ambitious on your studies - only focus on your weaknesses and just prepare for any tests a week before maybe and just put all your attention in class. also make sure you stay healthy and get a good amount of sleep - these things will be good routines and habits for the future
I find year 8 and like other subjects very easy since I m at the top of my class and year but is all of this stuff Im learning relevant for the future ?
GCSE results help you get a levels, and A levels really matter. With GCSE, if you get 6s / 7s that's completely fine. A levels you need to try really hard. Don't stress too much about it now but if you're really smart, maybe have a look.
uhh usually you don't start learning GCSE content until Y9 so not really but it can make the transition to GCSE content a lil easier ig? just don't stress, listen in class, do your homework and nothing else
I just started year 12 and I feel a sense of pressure. Not looking forward to year 13. Wishing the best to everyone in sixth form/college.
