This isn’t the $35K model. They always show the top spec one and then claim the base model price tag before destination and with no options.
Since this is a very early first look, we don't know which features will be included on the $35,000 model yet. We look forward to providing more details as they become available!

Starting at $35k as seen $55k. Normal marketing scams these days. And when you go to the dealers they will say manufacturers don't make the base models with the basics. You have to get the options.
There is no way that car will only be 35k

In Canada this model starts at $55,826 but it does do 0-60 miles per hour in 3.6 seconds.

Not correct, this is the ultra version which is 20k more expensive. Starts with the wheels, core is 18", you mention it's 20" for 35k.
The is only gets Plus and Ultra. It also doesn’t get the small battery

There are some 2022 Polestars Dual Motor AWD 400+HP with under 10K miles now being sold for $31K. As much as I would like to wait for the EX30, I just cannot justify its pricetag new. Dual Motor AWD EX30 would run I think around $45K.

I imagine that the base will probably have lesser quality seats and no sun roof. But you can’t argue with 35k for an electric luxury car!
The only difference on the seats is the color, you only get 1 color with 1 color for the interior. On the higher spec you get to choose the colors.
Also offcourse there will be a soundbar aswell, just not the HK one. But quality of materials and finish is all the same. No sunroof ofcourse and 18”wheels instead of 20”. Optionwise, you get the same choices.
Well I can confirm the car is definitely going to be in the 35k price range in the US. I live in the UK and we get absolutely hammered on taxes for new cars, you don’t believe me check the difference between a Tesla in the UK compared to the US. I was considering buying a Tesla model 3 but after test driving the EX30 I placed an order out on the spot. It was £34k for the standard 2 wheel drive model. The build quality is handsdown for superior than the model 3.
Beating Tesla on build quality isn’t hard. Given the XC40 and C40 I have sampled it will be a high quality build. Shame nobody can tell me what the servicing costs are. Or the intervals

Volvo has eliminated leather in all their electric vehicles. And $35K isn't an expensive car in today's market. A lot of $35K cars don't have leather seats.
Its not luxury. Very low-cost inside. But the car have a nice front.

Polestar and Volvo have a very similar look inside and out.
You get, flame on battery or it wears out.
You get inconvenient public charging and long wait time. You get limited miles per charge.
It’s real purdy and you get lots!

I wonder what Kia is going to do with niroEV price ? At least here in europe it's between 43 to 50 thousand euros, if Volvo is selling 10 thousand cheaper, Kia can't sell many cars so much higher price.

it's trunk is as big as a Dacia Spring. Too bad Volvo doesn't make a medium sized car affordable. Only very small or very big and expensive

35k for volvo ….no way…base model $54000+ tax+ licensing, and full option almost $62700 + taxes & licensing.(after 5000$ govt rebate in canada.) so finally price 68k to 76k😂

$35k for the EV. The battery replacement is only $38k and will need to be replaced in 2 years lol. Hit literally anything on the hwy that dents the battery protector and it's totalled. Also that's not covered by warranty...battery protected by a piece of aluminum foil. I have no idea why insurance companies insure EV's hahahaha

35k the basic model that has nothing, and in Canada it will cost at least 45 to 50k, and it can go to 70 to 80k, 35k is just to make people dream a lot 😆, cause there's no such price in real life for an EV

if you look at the interior and then a real luxury interior you immediately see the difference. this is in no way shape or form a luxury car. but it has a lot of appeal.
Luxury doesn't necessarily mean wood trim and leather.
It's from a premium car maker. It's got some premium aspects but no, it's not luxury.

Just like the 40k Silverado, lightening….these manufacturers are fake and don’t make the base models to sell at that price…I am sure of this, they will NOT be $35 k. I’m tired of the manufacturers false advertising…bait and switch. Surely, these car review type channels know this but they have to drink the Kool aid to keep receiving exclusive invites, first time drives, launch events, etc.
