When I saw those wonderful jugs with many uses going into the trash, I almost screamed, "NOOOOO!" Glad I waited to see how they would be repurposed.
I'm going to use this idea to make cheap storage for my craft/sewing room. Thanks!
I reuse everything I possibly can. Old round plastic jugs with handles (such as bleach bottles) are great for making into scoops for animal feed, cat litter, potting soil, etc. I learned that one from my grandmother back in the late 60s when those jugs were thick plastic. She also made cute birdhouses with them.
A tip I do when cutting corners is I start the cut by poking a hole with a metal skewer heated over a flame where each corner will be. It reinforces the corners so they don't tear over time. I hope that made sense.
