Huh. I know those motions in front of the b back confused the daylights out of Tulane. Have those motions been used before or is Navy just adding wrinkles? And since they started using the wrinkles any chance of speed sweeps coming back into the playcalling fold?
@@tufoinproductions Hrmm. Any reason why they went out of favor? I start salivating at the prospect of them implementing a jet sweep action about 1 time a game so they can stretch out the defense even further and get one of thier best players in space and already at full speed. Also, is Zone Kick just QB Power from under center? Becuase the more I watch it the more it looks like it lol.
@@castleford2591 they might use the Jet Sweep but I can see them saving it for Army at the end of the season because both teams use plays and formations they haven't used all season. Zone Kick or Zone Option? Zone Option is a option with someone blocking down I think. I don't really understand it I need Alex for this one.
@@tufoinproductions Zone Kick. Kick has all the apparences of Zone Option, except instead of getting into pitch relation the A back just sprints to get a block on the outside allowing the QB to find the running lane inside. That's if I'm watching the play right, which I may or may not be. Navy's QB so often just cuts upfield anyway because he's fast and quick enough to make the playside LB freeze every damn time. Also, good call on the Army vs Navy thing. I keep forgetting that there's no way they are going to bust out all the tricks before then. Don't want to give them any tape of what they might do until it's gameday
Navy pulled out of The Citadel formations.
at 2:07 trap with triple read? clever!

Yeah they have been used before Liz and Rip motions that's what Paul Johnson called it. I bet it's the same thing for Navy.

Have we seen the B Toss before?
Yup it's not ran as much as the Rocket Toss though
Alex Carrick based on your experience and passion I wonder if one of the FBS coaches would share theirs with you
