The storage performance and pixel peeping on streaming capture are interesting aspects of this review that I have not seen done in other mini-PC reviews. Thank you for the review!
Thanks! I normally don’t cover mini PCs so I wanted to have my own take and try to showcase some real world differences I observed. If you are looking for other specifics in potential future videos let me know!
Exactly the video I was looking for! Thank you for comparing these two mini-pcs and giving such detailed information in all the technical aspects, use cases, your personal experience and practical advice! Truly an all around informative video. Thank you for the transparency as well!
Even though I currently have an Intel NUC 13 Pro, AMD iGPUs are the best for budget gaming at 1080p with a mini-PC. Plus, I like that Geekom mini-PCs (with an AMD CPU) have an SD card reader.
@GadgetryTech Love the informative video. Im still confuse on which one to get. Which one in your opinion will be great for audio engineering? the requirements is 8 cores and above, 32 gb of ram and a high Ghz of 3.5 and above? I had system overload problem with my last pc.
Thanks for the comparison ! ---- I was wondering what the memory configuration was on the Intel XT Model ? Is there two 16GB sticks or a single 32GB stick? --- How many Memory Slots? Does it come with any slots empty? ---- I would like to upgrade to 64GB from the 32GB. --- So, how would I go about this?
Aheh mini PC seem still not very much a norm nowadays because of some limitations...though I only play classic Warcraft 3 TFT (DotA 1, YouTD), so might consider bought one just for the sake of silent and compact operation.
Bot the AMD unit A8 8845 for < $600 and $646 after tx & ship from Corp, Geekom Hong Kong. Not here yet from July 23 order. Fingers crossed. If I invest $200 it will be more than the $500.
Can you review the HyperX Cloud II Core Wireless please? Because literally no one seems to talk about it - only the first version of the Core model. And I have no idea why. Where I'm from its currently the same price as the Cloud II Wireless. The only difference I know base on spec is that it runs at 80hr batt life and is only compatible for PC. But sound wise, as well as mic quality, I hear zero opinions
Hi joe i just picked up the turtle beach atlas air headphones for ps5 and ther the best my astro a50x are going in the closet ive finally found the best im done looking and im coming from the sigva luan headphones driven by the fiio k11 dac amp and these turtle beach atlas air sound just as good as audio file headphones and that means alot there the best on the market stay safe and happy gaming to all
Mac will be a bit more power efficient and more quiet. These have a lot more flexibility with software and tools though, so it depends how far you want to take things.
the quicksync have this problem with cpu > < igpu since always hope one day they fix this and becomes more functional like nvenc block but quicksync is much better than amf. also quicksync have a lot of CODECs (avc, hevc, vp9, vc1, av1) encoding/decoding yuv 4:4:4 10~12bits 🤯🤯 so its the right choice for media content
I'm looking for a portable PC to do 4K 3D scann6for my business. Right now I'm using Lenovo workstation laptops with 128gb of RAM. I need a minimum of 128gb of RAM. What is the RAM cap on these? Thanks
I know these low power CPUs shouldn't be affected but I'm hesitant to buy the Intel config just due to the way they are handling their current CPU failing troubles.
I totally get it. I filmed a lot of this prior that coming to light and yeah it doesn't feel great. I usually clamp power anyway, as those peaks don't mean much in every day use. My 13900K hasn't had any issues but I run it with the 240w clamp since I received it
Thank you for reviewing our product. Your feedback on GEEKOM products is highly valuable to us!

Your review format is really good, your channel might benefit from exploring outside the audio hobby.
Btw you recommended Maxwell to me so thank you 😅
Thanks so much!
Ima a console gamer looking to stream to Twitch and use OBS through a mini PC with my PS5/Xbox/Switch. Would you prefer the intel?

Audio-Technica AT897

How would these compare to a MAC Mini for live streaming to twitch and/or UA-cam.

Thank you. I wonder how you can play on the rig but stream from this mini PC.
Perhaps I can make a video on this soon if it helps?

For sure! Quicksync is a big benefit for editing high bit depth log files in Davinci or Premiere

These have a cap of 64GB. Not workstation grade or course but priced accordingly.
