Thanks for your video. Followed a similar route from Adelaide to Wilson’s Promintory on my Teneré 660 back in October of 2022. It’s a great ride including the ferry ride to Sorrento. Bought back some good memories👍
It's a great ride through that part of the world, just a shame it rained along pretty much the entire GOR. The ferry is a great time saver and avoids a lot of boring (and dangerous) freeway.
Thanks for jumping across to check it out. It really is one of the most beautiful parts of Australia, it’s a shame most people will never pay it a visit.
Pity you had so much rain and wind, some of it is quite pleasant on a bike but day after day is miserable. I am enjoying the trip, been right round with you binge watching. It’s been great to sit down in a comfortable lounge chair with a cold beer, watching you freeze your arse off, looking miserable. Anyway I have decided I have done it now, no use putting myself through all that pain and getting ripped off everywhere I go. Been a great trip so far, bloody good effort. The Honda has done a great job. I live in Brisbane so will keep watching till you get home.
I really like your storyline and method. Love to hear that V4 , always so smooth . Powerful yet very innocuous to the public. Keep up the great work. Thanks for sharing
@@abitofadetour7315 thanks mate. It was a nice way to end what was a relaxed Christmas day, with a couple of Canadian Clubs and episode 8 👌 I really love the drone footage to by the way, always a great touch.
Nice one to drop on Xmas I hope you're having a Bloody excellent Xmas and that 2023 gives you nothing but gold; oh yeah and us some more interesting VLOG's to enjoy. Thanks for the videos cobber.
I plan on doing a short wrap up video after the final episode is done in a week or so. It will give an outline of what I spent, gear I used, and didn't use, fuel consumed etc. Short answer is it was cheaper than I thought it would be going in, but like any long trip, it adds up.
Yes it did. However by the end of the first day I was back in the groove but it makes a big difference. Like having a pillion almost. I touch on the extra weight in my wrap up video that I'm in the middle of at the moment.
@@abitofadetour7315 Thanks for the reply, I'm making a rack/ sissy and saddle bag combo currently. I'm stripping weight from the bike to compensate. I'm too short, which I was told that I would grow out of. Dunno how I'll throw a leg over,or back pedal. But l I'm going to Tassie anyway
@@stevestacey5272 There’s a million reasons not to go, you just need to do it. You only get one turn at this life caper. I would suggest keeping the weight as low as possible. Light bulky stuff up high, heavy dense stuff down low.
Good point. I should know that given I grew up nearby. I can only beg for your forgiveness and excuse myself by saying I don’t script my bits to camera, they are delivered off the cuff and contain many, many inaccuracies.
Excellent sir.🎉
Simple and elegant way of communication, easy to understand,
so matured driving skills.
Thanks to UA-cam.🎉

Came over after chatting on Reddit. Loved seeing a bit of my old country (Poowong, South Gippsland and those beautiful green hills...) Love your work.

Yet another, at the high standard we have come to expect. 👌👍
Cheers. It’s been a labour of love.

The VFR certainly has a wonderful engine. Cheers and thanks for watching.
Long distance riding in Australia. So satisfying... Thank you for sharing.
I don't mind cold and I don't mind wet but never the two should meet 😉 thanks for sharing 👍👍
Agreed. Still better than a good day at work though.
Awesome trip mate!!! Will say hello if I see you riding around the Sunny Coast!
Another stirling effort mate, thanks for all you do to bring this to us. Wishing you and your family a great Chrissy and new year.
And to you and yours. It was finished so I thought why not bang it out on Christmas Day? You never know, it might cheer someone up.

A nice little Crissy present for those that have sufficient class and taste to subscribe!
Even more fun to say "Vahga Vahga" like Schwarzenegger did in an ad a decade or so ago
Took me a second to figure out what you were getting at here but then it came back to me!

Can you give us a indication on your budget. Lots of motels, same as my old bones. If your up for another lap. Let me know.

You were right 18 dollars was far too much for that 5 dollar garden...merry Christmas
I thought it was a bit steep, plus the woman behind the counter was a sour piece of work.
@@abitofadetour7315 probably because people keep telling her 18 dollars is far too much ....lmao
Did it take much getting used to the added luggage size and weight up high on the bike? Steve, northern Rivers nsw

I may be a pedant and well trained by my friend Noel, there are many bays in Port Phillip- however Port Phillip is not a bay

So, would you go and do a lap again?
One day I will do it again, probably not for a few years though I reckon, but it's bloody good fun.
