It's difficult to convert an Arcade game that weighs 5MB to a 512KB cartridge, but clearly today a port faithful to the Arcade on MD in every sense would be possible, this shows that it can sound close to the arcade despite the lack of samples.
This sounds very close to the arcade original, only missing the samples and fun fact, this game, TMNT The Hyperstone Heist and Rocket Knight Adventures were the only games that used the PSG chip. Just a shame that Konami half arsed the port by chapping out of the ROM size of just 4 Megabit (512kb).

Titles for some of these seem possibly mixed up. The track at 23:34 is most definitely "We're Gonna Blow You Away" (the song that plays when fighting the Smith Brothers). Pretty sure the song at 21:40 is the song when fighting Dark Horse ("You in Heap Big Trouble").

Barring some... very "well, it was the 90s" track names, this OST is really damn good, as per the usual with Konami.

Such an amazing ost! Such a shame the game itself isn't a very good port of the arcade original. Still enjoyable enough tho.
It is said that a brazillian programmer is making a new port for the genesis.

Sunset Riders just hits different no matter what version you're playing. Same goes for the soundtrack.
It deserves a remaster, at the very least.
