Hello, going soon on the Meraviglia, i downloaded the app but i dont have all the options you show on your movie. Maybe it will be available once on the ship?
Also, i cruised many times on Carnival and NCL, how is MCS? I read soooo many bad reviews, i worry a bit. I live in Quebec Canada so MSC was a great option cuz i can drive to NYC and i had a really great price. 3124$ Canadian for 4 on a balcony. We leave on dec 30, New years celebrations on the ship! Thanks!!!
Yes, the options in the app you can't access now will be available once you're on board of the ship. In our personal experience, it's hit or miss with MSC. Some of our best and worst cruises have been with them. We hope your cruise will fall in the 'hit' category. Safe travels and have a great cruise!

Great information. thank you. I was wondering about booking the restaurants on the app as we wanted to book three. This frees us up from having to go from restaurant to restaurant to book the times we want. App looks very convenient. As soon as you board the options to book the restaurants will be available?
MSC does offer specialty dining packages. They are an excellent value and give you the opportunity to try several restaurants. You get the best price on those packages if you book before you travel. Just contact the agent you booked with and they can help you purchase the package!🍹

Just want to confirm, it doesn't charge any extra for the chat feature? Also, can I only chat with those in the same room? Right now, it's only letting me book one room at a time. My mother will also have a room, but it's a separate room and booking so will I be able to chat with her?
You can chat with anyone on the ship. The chat is free to use on the ship.( Only works on the ship) Have your travel agent list all cabins as traveling together so you will be seated at dinner together. I hope this helps!🍹
How soon can you see the cruise activities?
We are 12 days out, and I wanted to start planning what we are going to do/start mg packing list. But I still can’t see anything…. Not even what nights are like the “fancy” dinner nights or theme nights.
I don't think I could see much of anything until I was actually on the ship! Have a wonderful time!🍹
The chat features is NOT AVAILABLE on the MSC Splendida when we cruised in march 2024
Make sure to enquire about it first
Because if you miss the opportunity to add the internet package before boarding thinking you could at least chat to friends and family you will be disappointed
Because on the ship itself it’s $29 usd a day for internet when you find out you can’t use the chat feature

The app works on the ship without the purchase of WiFi. Remember to book your shows on the App when you are on the ship that way you will not miss any! Have a wonderful cruise! Have a drink for me!🍹
I downloaded the app. Can you please tell me, how do you get to the screen you see at the 1:05 mark. I am not on the ship now, but I can't get that menu for the life of me. Maybe that feature comes up when you are in the ship but not before, but I was not able to determine this from this video or other videos on the app. Thank You

@@TwoTravelandTour Yes this will be first cruise with MSC. I was familiar with MSC as one of the biggest container shipping companies. We were on only one cruise before, Carnival Spendor departing from Long Beach, CA in 2011, 7 nights going as far as Puerto Vallarta. We had a few problems with other parts of our upcoming trip. With the flight times from the West Coast, it seems necessary to stay in hotels before and after the cruise. Hotels there in Miami were costly. Thank you for asking
Well, you're in for a whole new and different experience. For starters: MSC ships are absolutely gorgeous. We highly recommend taking the time and explore the ship once you're on board. Furthermore, MSC is more of an internationally oriented cruise line, so don't be surprised if you get to hear announcements in several other languages in addition to English, which, in our opinion, only adds to your travel experience. Food will be different too. MSC is a cruise line with Italian roots, which tends to show in their menus (hint: definitely try their fresh-made, hand-tossed pizza at the buffet!). We always love their shows too, particularly their Italian Night, which comes with a fantastic theater production in the evening.
As far as hotels are concerned: if you're coming from the West Coast, there is no escaping that. We can tell you however that although we live in Pennsylvania, there are often hotel stays for us involved too, simply because it prevents a lot of stress. E.g. if your flight is delayed the day before, it's not that big of a deal, but if your flight is delayed on the day of sailing, you may have a serious problem. Hotels in Miami can be very expensive indeed, which is why we have been known to fly into Ft. Lauderdale and stay in that area. Ft. Lauderdale has a major airport, hotels are often a bit more affordable over there, and there are plenty of transportation options to the cruise port of Miami.
We hope you will enjoy your MSC cruise at least as much as we usually do!
We are planning a big school reunion aboard a MSC Mediterranean cruise in June. I wonder if the “Chat” function on this APP can be used among our group of passengers? After we install the APP can we add each other and form various “Chat Groups” for our group communication tools?
We did use the app to chat with each other. Yes it should work for all your group communication! You can't use the chat until you are on the ship but download the app at home! Thanks for stopping by!🍹

How do minors sign in if they cant create an account? They have to be 21 so they cant sign in and link a booking to know what ship he's even on?
Theur tech support said they have to be with a parent on the ship. Hes 14! She dont know the answer so gives me this malarkey.
1st time on MSC hopeful, but they are definitely technically challenged w the web , Voyagers Club accounts and stuff.
