Hey GlamFam! In this video I am showing a simple yet cute style in my daughter, Alexzandria! I love this style for so many reasons, the first of which is that it is a low tension style. I also like that it has a nice visual impact on the side, it's also a style that can be worn by children or adults. This protective style means no daily manipulation, and when it starts getting old, you can take it loose and wear it as a twist out!
As you can clearly see in the video, we are a petty family, and pettiness is how we function, so just be aware, Zan knows her limits, and we do not view any of her statements or behaviors in the playful context of this video as disrespectful.

I have a cul de sac too 🥺😫 I hate it. I went to a rude braider 2 yrs ago who told me my hair was receding while she braided it. Also she asked me these questions: "you must didnt go to any school dances" I said "what?" she said "cause you don't know how to dance. You suppose to know what position to put your head when i get close to the end of the box braid". Im like "huh?" this was my first time having her braid my hair. I didn't know i had to be a choreographer when i set my appointment. Ohh ohhh lets not forget she asked me if i lived in the hood cause i wanted blonde hair mixed in my braids. She said "this gonna be ghetto". (😡Now im Triggered) Thanks Dr Glam fam for listening. can i schedule an appointment for next week same time?

Love this style! You can tell little lady has has been schooled in the art of foolery. I have been enjoying Not Your Mothers Curl Talk Cream and Mouse. (Picked all three Curl Talk Stylers up in a travel pack) Now that grandbaby leaves a style in for more than 20 minutes, I use mouse to hold her braids together without turning her hair crunchy. I have been braiding her hair away from her face to try to keep it out of her mouth. She puts everything in her mouth! She will be 3 next month and hoped we would be over that by now. Thanks for sharing!!
I have yet to try the Not your mother’s line, but I’ve heard many good things about it!
It’s interesting how long it can take them to grow out of things like that, Alexzandria took forever to stop putting everything in her mouth, and with Zalina it was never an issue. 🤷🏽♂️ Zan was probably 7 or 8 before I didn’t have to fuss about putting hair, necklaces, basically whatever was in her hand in her mouth.
With Zalina the struggle was getting her to stop beating up kids in daycare 🤦🏽♂️ I guess every child comes with their own sets of struggles!
And yes! You can’t be a member of this family without taking part in some foolishness 🤣🤣😂

Going to do my granddaughter’s hair like this. She’s starting to love getting her hair done up, with ribbons & glittery stuff. She’s 3. Her mom is Jamaican and her dad (my son) he’s mixed. Native, white, French. So her hair is not fully like either of her parents. Her Jamaican genes in her hair will kick in after 2days of no washing. Puffy, thick & tangled. My sons a single parent, so we’ve actually had to do a lot of searching on how to manage her hair on our own. Almost pros now. Lol. But I’ve been trying to look for your video on cornrows, I heard in another one of your videos u had one for that.
