I haven’t put in twists in a while. I might try in the morning and see how it goes. I used to do twists on my older non-wiggly child a lot but she’s going through a hair strike... HER: one pony? ME: What about... HER: ONE PONY! Now she’s having breakage from nothing but 1 pony in the same spot (were limited on locations because of a medical device) so I’ve been putting in a straight back Dutch or French braid because it spreads out the tension where she’s having breakage
I love how you talk to your kids like theyre little adults lol its cute... Kids like that also tend to be extra af and precocious (but all in a good way). Both of your daughters are like little precious chocolate drops.

I recently invested in a tall chair with height adjustment so I can stand to do the girls' hair. LIFE SAVER! All that bending my back was gonna make me shave their waist length hair bald! It also helps me turn them when they get to wiggling!

I don’t have a Q&A planned for this one, maybe for 250k 🤷🏽♂️ I honestly would say as soon as they start getting split ends, it’s time to trim. For Alexzandria, she was 9mo when I did her first trim, Zalina was almost 2. They have different hair types, so Zandri is more prone to them and requires more frequent trimming.

Headband braids are LIFE for me! I do a lot of lace braid headbands braids because I can get them into wriggling 3 year olds fast.
