If you remember, in the very beginning of the game it was said that Jack is famous for solving impossible cases without any clues. Probably that's why Hoover wanted to use him, and he did it with intimidation.
Yeah I know, but what I mean is that Jack is an investigator, not 007 or Rambo, meaning his skill set is completely different from an agent or a soldier. You can intimidate people with words, possessions, political power and so on; torture is way beyond that, it's a horrendous crime that the FBI should be fighting against, not actively committing, I guess that's my problem with it.
Usually it's good when you don't know what to do next, because it's real, it's honest. When gamers know a game they play well and pretend they play it for the first time, they lack real emotions. The process of playing loses its salt, if you know what I mean.
You would be VERY surprised by the amount of comments I get complaining about not hearing 20 seconds of dialogue, skipping one combat or not doing a quest or task in a certain way. Most people in this website are completely unreasonable, so unfortunately I have to act accordingly to avoid certain types of comments and interactions. Thank you for being reasonable, though!

Skipping cutscene is not a cheat, come on.
