    Hi, thanks for all your great videos. I have a 1390 laser with a Ruida6442G controller. I have bought a Rotary and a driver for it (DM542) Unfortunately the RDC6442G does not allow the U-Axis to be used for rotary. So WHICH controller should I buy to get all Axis (X,Y,Z and rotary) to work from LighBurn? Thanks in advance and keep up the good work /Per

    I think this is supposed to be more for fixturing. Say you have 4 vice / stops setup with small workpieces, you can run 4 jobs at a time. Like G55 in Cnc gcode.
    You could have one stop setup for engrave, another stop for flipped piece engraving bottom side, etc, etc.

    What to do if the co2 laser machine does not move on x or y

  • @tashavanvuuren5590

    How do you move the head to stop at a saved origin to see where it is going to start. Or if you have saved an origin and moved the head to move your material and want to move the head back to the origin set to see if it is in correct position?

    hi, I'm following all your videos a bit, as I bought a RDC6432G ruida controller, I kindly ask you, every time I turn on the laser, in the display the x and y axis quotas are always 1000, even if the laser is at 0, c there a way to program this function? I apologize for english, i translate with google, because i don't know english and i am italian. thank you so much

    Need to know how to make rotary go more than 400mm inY around about 10 times for a corkscrew pattern need some help please

    • @MWLaser
      @MWLaser  3 роки тому

      if your Y axis is normally 400mm, then the only way would be, while using the rotary axis, increase the size of the vendor settings for the Y Axis to more than you require eg. 10000mm (then when you finish with rotary device return the value to 400)
      You will find this in Vendor Settings, Y Axis , Breadth. Read info from controller, change Breath value then Write info back to controller.

    Hello, could you help me make the decision between the controller rdc6432 and RDC6445? I have seen some users of RDC6432 complain that it does not connect with the software via network or usb, well I wanted to know what is the main difference between the two that justify the higher value, if you can help me, thank you very much

    • @MWLaser
      @MWLaser  3 роки тому +1

      The better of the two is the RDC6445, much more user friendly and easier to configure. Definitely worth the extra expense.

    Matt, The ruida rdc-6332g or ruida rdc-6445g what one is better

    • @MWLaser
      @MWLaser  3 роки тому

      that depends upon the use of your laser, and how many axis you have ie X,Y,Z,U
      6445 has 4 axis control and a larger screen than the 6332 which has only 3 axis control, both are good controllers. if you are trying to choose between them, I recommend contacting an RD sales rep.

    So, if you set'multiple origin' and then don't configure any of the origins 1 to 4. Then everything is disabled

    • @MWLaser
      @MWLaser  3 роки тому

      yes if you disable the multi origins, the machine operates back to single origin mode.

    I found an easy sollution. Just press frame. Then after it did the frame it stops at the saved user origin. Haha.
