Can you imagine, of all you could related to it would have to be the Holy Grail of ancestors. Imagine the pressure of being Jesus great great great grandchild.
It was different in the book. Langdon actually assures Sophie that she's not a descendant of Jesus.
Well in the books Lion king Simba have a baby with his sister and they called her Nala.
Not true. Her Merovingian ancestry was confirmed
@@reginaschellhaas1395 But that idea was ruled out by Langdon. It wasn't until the end of the book that the secret of her family and ancestors are revealed to her. Both Langdon and Sophie didn't believe that she had royal blood inside her
@@julianp14 i seem to remember that (book version) both sides of her family were descendants, that was ultimately why she was called Princess Sophie by her grandfather. Of course he really was her grandfather in the book, and she was reunited with her grandmother and her brother, in Scotland. I prefer the book, but it had many details that wouldn't fit into a two hour film.
I’m a St. Clair descendant and I was told this story from my grandmother.
I read the book just brilliant so many twists and turns just enjoyed tom hanks played him perfectly
I love this movie
How can i watch it. Actually coudn't find id

the fabulous living heritage of Amélie
Surely there’s a world of difference between being the blood line, being the sang real (Holy Grail) , and being “the last living descendent of Jesus Christ”? The blood line is the single line of descent - and there is only one line. But if the person currently on that line dies, it will flip to the nearest person to the blood line. But as for “the last living descendent of Jesus Christ”…. there will be millions of people alive today descended from a person two thousand years ago i.e. 100 generations ago (assuming that original person had children and grandchildren)
Well he had 4 brothers so partly true. However they are taking about the direct line of Christ through Jesus daughter Sarah! Did you watch the movie at all? There were centuries of killing the bloodline of Christ. The Priory of Sion was created the protect it! She was the last person who was not killed!
the secret of sophie vs the antimatery secret
Well, it has been said that " truth" is stranger than " fiction". So then someone wrote something like this without being inspired by the ultimate writer of them all ? 🌹
arthur c clarke??
The present descent into a societal gnostic hellscape has been going on for some years, I see.
Because I don’t think he was your grandfather;) thank you mr hanks
I don't know what love is and I never lost my faith
As far as I'm concerned, Harry Potter and Frodo Baggins are the last living descendants of Jesus Christ.
Read Lee Strobel's "The case for Christ" for confirmation
Dan Brown wrote a very basic, easy to read boook. But damn did he pack it full of punches. Definitely recommend the book to people who like an easy read.
Being the last descendant of an inexistent person is not a big deal 😂
Well he was probably a real guy just not the son of god
So…..you were alive then and can confirm that?
@@anb7408 Indeed. But I don’t remember you back then, maybe because I tend to ignore people who don’t have the balls to speak NOT with the mask of anonymity on.
There are proofs of Christ. He existed
Uhhh Jesus was real. As an atheist I can be sure he was a man that existed. The rest maybe not so much
I can't believe the person who directed this movie also directed the Han Solo movie and the 2000 Grinch movie
what a way to be told you are jewish!
Classic 😄
Hahahaha them Jews. Jesus wasn't Jew. The Jewish one is the devil
She’s the only one who could exclaim, “JESUS CHRIST!” After being told… and it not be blasphemous.
Fact stranger then fiction!
Tom Hanks has the ability of making anything credible with how he expresses and delivers dialogue. whether one believes this or not, i agree when Tom Says it in a movie, lol.
the movie is very good and the book is better BUUUT
infact being a movie about a last living descendant of the biggest lie in history is hilarious.
I mean as far as I know I can believe in Harry potter or the world of midgard or the lord of the rings, the only thing they needed is churces or houses dedicated to it.
Biggest lie to a liar? What is the biggest lie in history? That all man was made in GOD'S image? We know that is not true. The simian features of most mankind tells us different. GOD made one man in his image!
@@jrutt2675 the proofs about god existence is in the Bible the Bible per say was made by humans and a Council that made a choice what to put into the book. Sounds like any other author in history so why is the Bible the one that needs churches?
Hell my Bible is Pippi longstocking and her father the powerful wizard of Oz.
Hahaha yeah brainwashed anyone?
@@creforce Not really! They only limited GODs existence. Most people do not know who or what GOD is? This is the reason. The fact you can talk proves of GOD existence.
@@creforcewow you're so arrogant human then to think there's no God
@@raymond9290 no, the real arrogance is believing there is a god, you were created in his image, and he has a special relationship with you.
people calling this fiction because they believe in another fiction 😅
This movie/book did indeed reveal “secrets” that were long held out of public view. The Gospels/scriptures of Philip, Thomas and Mary (Magdalene) were left out of the Bible due to them showing Jesus in a more human light.
Even though the movie is quite spectacular, the book is even better
4:23 would definitely warp my little brain🤐
I wonder how many takes it took for them to get through that line without bursting out laughing
Damn -you would think she would have been a bit more uplifted than that.
I wonder if anyone knows that all persons in the world are distantly related. All the kings (royal families) from modern Europe have a common ancestor in Charlemagne. There is a theory that all of present persons that have at least an ancestor in Europe are somehow related to a royal line. Given that Charlemagne lived before what we would call a common ancestor, we most likely are descendants of Charlemagne's line
Nothing can be explained
I get chills every time
