Love this method of using the grid for those small squares. Thanks for this tutorial!
Oh my word Kari!!!
I literally said”Shut up , no way!!” I have been sewing for 40 years and have never seen the interfacing method. I have no idea what rock I’ve been hiding under but that method is AMAZING!!
I Love everything you do.
Thanks for teaching an old dog a new trick❤️
Love this comment so much. Thank you!
Thank you Carrie for doing this video! It was exactly what I was looking for!
I have used this INCREDIBLE tutorial of yours SO many times and it is excellent. I absolutely love your method of starting off with pieces that are too large and then cutting everything down to size…genius! This has also allowed me to take this tutorial as a blueprint and branch out to make my own size/style of project bags based on yours. Thanks again- this has been so helpful! Xx
Fantastic tutorial. I love that you cut later instead of trying to match everything. I’m saving this video for when I do my next project bag! Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!

Great tutorial. Thanks so much for taking the time to show us your process. I’m excited to try it!
So sweet. Thank you!
Just found and subscribed to your channel. I am also Virginian but transplanted from North Carolina. I used this grid interfacing to make my first grand child a quilt (she graduates from high school this ) I had also done a cross stitch birth sampler for her that had baby animals on it. I blew up the pattern for the baby duck and using 2" solid colored light flannel squares and the cross stitch pattern, I made her a quilt to go along with the sampler.
So glad I came across this video! Thank you!!
This is a great thorough tutorial. Thank you so much

Thank you for a great video, I am finishing out the year making project bags, grime guards and floss holders/needle books to tuck inside the bags. I went through my charts and didn’t figure in the freebies you all showed through the season so I need bags 😆 Again thanks for enabling me to stay focused🥰

Thank you so much for this tutorial! I’ve been back to X St for the past year after a 27 year hiatus and I’ve always been a knitter…so project bags are very important to me! Just got my new sewing machine set up and have been making all sorts of PB’s and having a ball. I really like your suggestion for sewing the front portion 1st and then cutting the rest to fit it- GENIUS! I’ll be making another bag this afternoon and will use your technique. Thank you!

This is such a great tutorial. I make project bags in batches for myself and for gifts. I haven’t made any in ~7 months and holy cow my brain was not doing a great job of remembering how to do things! 🥴😬🙃 After a few stops and starts I am back and I have the 1st of many beautiful bags based on your tutorial. I will keep on sewing while it is fresh in my mind! Thanks again Keri and Happy Thanksgiving 2022!
Great tutorial, keep them coming!
Thanks, will do!
Thanks so much for bag videos - my daughter LILY will be 18 in Aug. WE CALL HER LILYBUG!!! ❤❤❤ So cute.

Hopefully I can do this. I’m not a seamstress but a stitcher. I’ll be brave. 🧵🧵🧵 wish me luck. You make it look easy.

So sweet. Thank you!
Great tutorial! ❤️
Thank you! 😊
Thanks for showing how to do the squares on board with light interfacing. Been wanting to purchase the actually printed interfacing but when you have all you need to make your own. You can also draw on your interfacing!! I have lots of squares.
Great tutorial!!!
Thank you!
You are so much fun. I loved the vudeo!
Yay! Thank you!
Took time this AM to watch your project bag tutorial. I also love the chunky zippers, and I purchase mine from Decorating Diva (Pam Damour) as I get it by the yard with the tabs. It is 3 yds of each color and 8 tabs of each color and 5 different colors come in each package. I like taking different pulls with different colored zippers. I received the same bag instructions from Crafty Gemini when I took one of her bag making schools a couple of years ago and love it with no exposed seams. Pam Damour has a website shop and also does free webinars once a month. Love your quilting and cross stitch videos.
thank you!
First time watching! I loved the tutorial! I subscribed so I can catchup on all your videos 💖
Thanks for subbing!
This is what I was telling you about for a baby quilt the tecknique
Thank you you made this seem simple…
You’re welcome 😊

I just got my fabric in and I’m going to start putting things together 🙌
Amazing 😅
Thanks 😅
I just made ine as didnt believe it would work and it did!! I made a bag from start to finish including doing some motion quilting. My only mistake was I used a medium weight interfacing and should of used a light weight as got a bit bulky at the junctions. Great tutorial thank u for sharing that little trick will be using it again xxx
Yes, medium weight does get a little bulky
Love this tutorial. I am going to make me some project bags. I have made some vinyl bags but I wanted a closed fabric bag.
So glad you enjoyed it
I can thread by hand so much quicker than the auto threader!
Great video! That bag is super cute and you kinda make me think maybe sewing one isn't hugely out of my league, for once 😆
OMG! You can do it. Slow & Steady....sew along with me in the video.
This tutorial was so very helpful! Thank you for sharing your interfacing method! I'm wondering if you wanted to quilt the front, at what point in the process you would do that? I'll definitely be trying this out! So cute!!
❤🎉
