So true Suyansh, I totally agree. Such a phenomenal author treated with oppression and disrespect. It's really a matter of great shame. Art and literature seem to be dying rapidly. What she writes, in fiction or non-fiction, is meaningful and stands true. She refused to be a slave to the government. I want her to live forever on earth. intellectuals like her are a ray of hope for us.

Arundhati Roy has written only two novels, both of these are masterpieces nodoubtly. She wrote a number of profound non fiction books. As per my knowledge, after Sir V.S Naipaul no one has received such a massive welcome from the readers in both of the genres.
