I like how the maps was before, when A, B and C marked the strategic importance of each point, but folk could not understand why "A" was sometime in the middle, so Ganjin had to "correct" it so the points always whare in alphabetical order.
Fun fact: StuG III was not part of tank units but instead got assigned to artillery units, yet was often used to replace tanks as well when material was limited, it also was one of the longest produced combat vehicles of WWII, seeing construction right until the end. And it destroyed the most enemy vehicles, simply because it was so common. It also was less than one standing man in total height, making it very easy to conceal.
I just noticed an animation on the Stug that I never noticed before. The little periscope on top of the commander/gunner seat moves in relation to your turret's 3rd person pipper. If the pipper is in close proximity, it moves to the right of the slot. If the pipper is down range it moves to the left of the slot mechanism. ------------- Edit: After some research, it turns out it's a gunner periscope. Added to the Stug. III lineup with the C model. "The Ausf C replaced the direct vision port associated with the gun sight and its replacement with a periscopic SlfZF 1 gun sight. This was operated through a small hole in the gunner's roof hatch." my god. you know the enemy team is absolutely, and insanely mad when they stop caring about the cap and all go to kill one, single man all alone on a hill. and they even failed that. that's gotta hurt for the enemy team bruv. i feel sorry for them! xD
20:08 you hit the rock, 99%. There's no visible effect for shells hitting rocks, so they just bloody vanish. Really annoying. Hit a bit of mud, massive cloud of debris you can't see through, hit a rock, black hole.
Random ww2 fact. The stug's had some of the highest k/d ratio of the whole war. It's also where Michael Wittmann started his legacy run. He was known as the black Barron.
I love the Stug. I have an amazing line up, lovingly titled "Stuglife". As the name suggest, it is a line up made out of all the Stugs as well as germanys meanest AA. A real delight.
First of awesome intro got me jumping up and down. My neighbour even sent the police in because they thought i was getting stabbed because i screamed everytime he got a kill.
I hope they give this tank some new camo skin options. I use it with my PZIII lineup to keep all the chassis the same. Hope they can make a PZIII Ostwind/Wirbelwind as they actually existed back then in STUG units.
Yep that intro, I've done that too. Not as many kills but on that set up of Poland its a very lucrative spot, especially if the enemy team have no concept of flanking.

Damn. Unlucky shot 20:25 You hit the cross section of armor spall liner. That separator from front to the engine compartment. So it is essentially infinity armor. But you penetrated that high angle part of the T 34 which was amazing.

Since this was moved to 3.3 with the pz4g there are some really good games to play. Air support I use the me410 a1 50mm and a 109f4. Brings me to a 3.7br. I don’t mind being up tiered because you get more lions and rp.
Man your videos are great, I love them, the idea of a shocking and intense intro is very good, you just nailed it there but perhaps it can get a bit tiring for you, maybe? Do you have trouble looking for a good match or do you just tend to roll with it? Because I have the idea that maybe you can do a recompilation of bloopers, once a month. Hey Odd you should try out The Iron Duke IV with the new 5.7BR it faces Tiger II's now. I'm playing it for SL grind, so I want to see how do you play it. Btw your videos made me a better player at the game, bombing tutorial and your in-game moves teaches me a lot of good and useful tactics. I'm very thankful for this. I noticed that the stug 3 f hull armor is all around 50 mm but nowadays stupid gijjin changed the lower hull to 30 mm instead of 50. but you see they should change it back since the stug 3 f was built with all around 50 mm on the front

Which Bf109 did you use? At that br I get much better results just boom&zooming around in the Fw 190 A-1. 2x 20mm for when something tough spawns, and the 4x 7.92mm are really good at chewing up more fragile planes without worrying about ammo count.
Can you do a quick video about your cinematics and how you get them? I’d really like to start making war thunder videos with my own personality to them
OddBawZ had the same "no reload until breech" repaired now 4 or 5 times just today, along with much longer repair times about 35-50s depending on vic and crew, must be an unannounced new game mechanic. Nice one War Thunder! Plus my Hurricanes have been doing some very odd side slipping even at like 350mph in a dive from a roll out ... GRRRR Did it occasionally before but now it has messed up 50% of CAS attacks, have to drive like ma Granny now or she complains her draws are slipping.

To be fair the M18 Hellcat was the most effective vehicle statistically, but the mass production of the StuG combined with its effectiveness makes it the greatest.

They are all i got. I am getting the hang of them though. What ammo do you use for them ? I'm having a hard time figuring out the ammo

more survivable but this one is slimmer and you can hide under low stuff/in craters and be a real bitch to take out.
