Just a little tip. Compression fittings don’t require Teflon tape. The ones with plastic nuts on them are to be tighten by hand. They have flanged ends made to compress into each others “ male and female” ends to make the seal. You well also need plumbers putty to put that collar drain down into the sink.
I smiled when I saw him wrapping those compression fittings. I was like, nope it is going to still leak because that is not the issue, unless the fitting was not tight. Those drain fittings also do not need tape, just snug tight.
Absolutely on your comments 👍 But, someone needs to tell him RV water pumps can supply 50lbs pressure from onboard water tank......maybe the problem is RV park water pressure and a sorry RV dealership. That looked like natural gas, propane teflon tape.
@@jeff67mustang I thought the same thing. Between General RV and Jayco, there are a lot of issues to be worked through. A local shakedown is always best if you can.

To power up your leveling system . You have to have the key turned to the on position and the emergency brake on. Or it will not power up. ( you should leave the engine running so the voltage stays up, the lippert systems are very sensitive to voltage drop.)
Exactly…ALL RV’s get a professional inspection. “Blue Ox on the Run” they have never found an RV yet that hasn’t needed things fixed. Many new ones with major problems.
To add to safety and steering responce to your new C class.... have a Safe-T-Plus added to the front steering tie rods, and toss the factory installed one. You already have beefier rear stabilizers. Hi Marty. Glad you got one. It’s invaluable. Just throw it in the rig and forget about it until you need it. We get a nail in the tire about once a year. Safe travels.
Love watching your videos. I’m so sorry you’re experiencing these issues. When we bought our Class C in 2021 our dealer MHSRV had to ask us to test everything overnight at their RV park to make sure everything is working fine before leaving their lot. But we found issues when we travelled to Colorado which is a different story.

Whole lot of RVs and a whole lot of fun. Best, Lee & Pam
I don't think campers have been made yet for traveling and living in full time. Those are called homes. These are RVs recreational vehicles. I wish you well
Honestly since the pandemic started, EVERYTHING we have purchased from carpet to blinds to furniture has been defective and fallen apart. I know cars are all a hot mess too and are eating themselves and detonating. I really hope these problems with the new rv are just the typical things that happen. But I’m definitely curious to see what the build quality is.
Never curse yourselves by saying, "What's next?", when things go wrong because it will keep doing bad things. Sh!t happens but you don't want to prolong it. That is why we are going for a cargo trailer and transform it into a camper. Least I will already know what is in it.
Welcome to the world of Thor broken and damaged Rv’s from the factory… Thor should stand for Too horrific over the top repairs. Never ever heard of anyone having good luck with any of the Thor RV’s … maybe someday we will learn as RVer’s to quit buying there junk so they will smarten up and build them better and quit cutting corners. We had a Thor Quantum KW, great floor plan and that’s where it stopped. Plastic basement compartments bowed and cracked.. couldn’t even carry tools in it.
This is why you DO NOT BUY A RV without hiring a RV inspector to survey the rig first BEFORE signing anything. They will find every factory defect before you buy.
I love the map shot zooms. Und die Frau/Machen ist wunderbar.

Heading out west? If you get in western Montana hit me up. Would love to meet you all Have 50 amp and water and plenty of room. And your girls could play with the granddaughters. Would be a honor
Thank you so much James. We will definitely let you know next time we pass through. Best, Pam & Lee
My hubby and I can’t for the life of us figure out why you are traveling in two separate rigs 🤷🏽♀️. Isn’t that the point of buying a new one? So you can all be together?
What was the reason you got two rvS
Great Question. 😀 Pam’s Mom (Gabriele) retired in Germany and has been traveling the USA with us since last December. We call the second RV the “Mother-In-Law Suite”. LOL. She is definitely traveling in comfort. She will be heading back to Germany next month. They all have names: Lucy the 5th Wheel because just like Lucy the elephant in New Jersey, it’s always under construction. Then we have Maximus our F-350 Dually and finally Minimus the Class-C. Whole lot of RVs and a whole lot of fun. Best, Lee & Pam
Thank You For the kiss ..lol 💋
Aww ! Happy Travels 😊
I don't think campers have been made yet for traveling and living in full time. Those are called homes. These are RVs recreational vehicles. I wish you well
Never ask “what else can go wrong?”! Because you _will_ find out. :)
Time to ditch the motorhome.
Why two rigs? Is one mom’s with Pam driving?
Uuuuu Replaceing that sewer pipe.
New here. Why are you driving with two RVs ?
😢😢😢😢😢😢😢 JAYCO ARE NOT WELL BUILT
This is why you DO NOT BUY A RV without hiring a RV inspector to survey the rig first BEFORE signing anything. They will find every factory defect before you buy.
Great tip! Thanks!
