    You are making a Class C really tempting. My hubby’s favorite saying now is “Rest Areas are your friend.” He has learned a lot from you guys.😂
    We did have one problem with Arizona and New Mexico Rest Areas….the goat head stickers were terrible for the pups.
    P.S. we love Milo’s Tea too. Are the restaurants only in Alabama?

    • @discoveryboundrv

      Ouch, those little stickers are the worst. They got Tidbit too. We had to buy little booties for him. 😀 Yes, the Milo’s restaurants are only in Alabama. We always get the “Mega Meal”. The sweet tea from the restaurant is Amazing. We really love the convenience of the Class -C. We definitely don’t have the space that we did when we had our 5th wheel. After you travel for a while, everything slows down. You’re driving, long hauls, tempo, everything just refocuses on the old saying “you are right where you need to be!” Funny part is, you can’t tell people that. They will still drive 80mph for 14 hours and bypass America…and then one day they realize it and start hitting those beautiful rest areas for a great meal and even better company. 👍 Best, Pam & Lee

      Thank you so much. He was the best! We traveled 48 States and 5 years with a 5th Wheel and the motorhome completely changed how we RV. We love it! The convenience is amazing. We travel so much and this allows us to do that seamlessly. Congratulations on your new RV. Please keep us posted on your adventures. How exciting! 😀

    Where's Maximus?
    Also, you have a ton of stuff attached to that cheap square bumper. Are you worried about it or has it been modified?

    • @discoveryboundrv
      @discoveryboundrv  14 годин тому +1

      Hi Mark! We sold Maximus in Myrtle Beach. I cried….LOL. 🤣 We didn’t need him anymore since we went motorized RVing. We replaced Maximus with Peaches (Jeep). On the bumper we have a Pit Boss pellet smoker grill and a Blackstone Griddle. It looks like a lot but really isn’t. The Class-C can tow 7500 lbs and we are under the hitch weight. Great eye! 👍

      Hi April! How awesome is that! My Grandmother lived in Montevallo. I actually attended a Young Authors Conference there when I was in Middle School. Beautiful campus. They are building a lot more restaurants. I saw a brand new one in Auburn. Until then, it’s so worth the drive! LOL Best, Lee

    I'm sure there must be a story behind it that I missed, but what is the reason for one side having the chrome wheels simulators in the other side not?

    • @discoveryboundrv
      @discoveryboundrv  4 години тому

      Long story short…they fell off in Arizona (I-40). They are actually notorious for falling off the Class-C. At $500.00 per set to replace ( no single wheel purchase options), we decided to just leave it for now. We have met a lot of people with the same issue. Even the RV Repair Tech said the same thing. They will keep falling off because they are friction held onto the lug nuts.

    Sorry about your grandpa, why aren't you towing the jeep ??

    • @discoveryboundrv
      @discoveryboundrv  14 годин тому

      Truth be told….the Jeep costs a fortune to mod and trail ride. We just haven’t gotten around to doing the Blue Ox Tow mod to the Class-C and the Brake mod to the Jeep yet. Pam loves driving the Jeep on travel days and we don’t drive more than 3-4 hours. So, for right now we are in no rush to connect the two. The new bumper we put on is amazing and comes with the Blue Ox adapters, so it’s ready to go.

    Question I see jeeps with the Ducks in the dash what is up with that ???

    • @discoveryboundrv
      @discoveryboundrv  17 годин тому +1

      Hi Patrick, The Jeep Duck tradition started with Allison Parliament in Canada. She was handing them out at the beginning of 2020 in her area with the Phrase "We will all get through this". This act of kindness spread worldwide within a few years and is now a core tradition for the entire Jeep Community. We give ducks to other Jeepers as we encounter each other or see a Jeep that we really like. If you get a duck, that means someone cares about you and your Jeep. If you don't want the duck, then simply pass it to another Jeep or kids in the area. The ducks are on the dash to show support and to be available to quickly pass to another Jeep or throw out during parades, Jeep gatherings, or clubs. We also display our most treasured ducks that have emotional meanings behind them. Like when we received a duck from Allison Parliament's mother in Pigeon Forge a few months ago. Hope this helps. Best, Pam & Lee

    Really enjoy your videos. We currently have a Class C (Entegra Odyssey) 26M and agree that motorized is the way to go. We have owned Class A's, Class C's, Fifth Wheels and Travel Trailers over the years and really prefer the Class C for most of the reasons you mentioned. I notice another subscriber has provided info on how to reset/recalibrate the autolevelers. I would just add the following steps to complete the procedure after the display shows "ZERO POINT CALIBRATION:" Press "ENTER" to set the zero point (Press "POWER" to exit. Screen displays "PLEASE WAIT." Alarm will sound and screen displays "ZERO POINT SUCCESSFUL" Control will then turn off. Good luck.

      Hi Dale! Thank you for the great tip and finalized instructions. You’re awesome! Pam has gotten very used to auto-leveling and then going into manual mode to adjust as needed. This helps a bunch! We can’t tell people enough that finding your style of RVing is so important. We did 48 States with a 5th Wheel and the moment we went motorized, we were amazed at how easy and convenient it is. We love it! Thanks again,Dale. Safe travels, Lee

      Hey guys 👋 😃,
      I've been searching for a class c experience for a while now. Thank you for sharing your video. I actually plan on getting the Jayco 30z also. Incredibly awesome 👌. I love this Rig. Thanks again ✌️ 😁

    Condolences for your family as you navigate the loss of your Grandpa... The auto level is fairly easy to recalibrate. First thing is to get the rig level, manually or otherwise. Next, turn the controller off, then press "front" button 5 times, "rear" button 5 times. Control panel will flash and beep then LCD will say "Zero Point Calibrate"
