I have to say Lindsey I watch all your videos Die Hard fan of you but this video seeing you this happy and full of joy like a child during Christmas was wonderful and just made my night it felt like I was right there with you to be honest it felt the way I feel if I were to receive that and to know that I'm not the only crazy one that you feel like that and other people it just made such a warmth in my heart thank you for sharing and being real there are so many people out there that are so untrue to themselves but to see you so real down-to-earth it was it was awesome

I want a big box of Jane Davenport stuff to make me shriek and smile too. LOL This video was just so awesome. I love watching Lindsay get all excited about supplies. I have been in a funk and unable to craft for about 2 months now-- which is why I am so late even watching this video. But I think the yuk fog is lifting. A fun box like this would have been awesome. I may go to Michaels and buy some goodies tomorrow after seeing how much fun these supplies look.

Oh, my goodness! I was laughing all through this video! You're like a kid in a candy store! You must have had that big coffee cup in use again. There's so many neat things here, but I'm anxious to see the fountain pen and the sparkly markers. So many goodies! That's so nice of Jane to send them, but she must know what a great audience you have because you're a terrific crafter. I'm also glad things are going better for you in your private life. Oh my gosh Lindsay!!! I'm only 12 but I have been so excited for the new collection to come out for like FOREVER!!!!! I have been jumping around my room so excited!! I have been begging my mom to take me to michaels when the collection came out since I heard it was coming out!! (Still haven't gone even thought the new collection has only been out for a day.LOL) I'm planning on getting the fountain pen and if I get it, do you recommend storing it upside down or up side up? Like I have said many times, I'm sooo exited to get some new stuff from Jane so thank you for sharing your unboxing!! You are so sweet!😊

oh and speaking of glittery stuffs... have you tried colorits new pack of glitter gel pens? i just got mine earlier in the week and they are so pretty and amazing! you have to get them.

Tracey, I'm so glad I was able to find you again! I "spoke" with Saundra (Sandy) Parker this morning. The program that she and Rubberneckers Stamp Company have gotten together goes live tomorrow the 28th! Sandy's yt channel is Crafting For Almost Everyone. She is an absolute doll - you will love her and her channel. I think the process is there'll be a place to enter your information and you can list types of crafting supplies you need. A lot of people destashed so they have lots of supplies to give away. As an aside, one of the stamp companies Ellen Hutson put a question out on Facebook asking how many dic cutting machines you had. One lady had 17 - yes seventeen! - die cutting machines! Every version of Cricut, Cameo and Silhouette that exists and all kinds of die cutting machines. So hopefully some of those people destashed! I love your Halloween card it was so cute.
Your fountain pen felt crappy because you needed to first clean them. Just like new brushes, pens have residue that needs to be cleaned off. That’s why cleaning them out and using her ink seemed to be better. It’s not the ink but the process of cleaning it. Fountains pens are a world of their own
+Colleen Baker really? I with they would say that in the instructions. I have had others that worked out of the package. Jane's worked right away ( I used the refillable cartridge and ink) thanks for letting me know! Do you just Prince them in water or pen cleaner?

veryberry39 With the exception of pens drying out or glues drying in a couple of years, it's good news ... the craft items usually last a long time - especially paper and dies and scissors and colored pencils and craft paint, etc.!!! That's my excuse for buying discounted items! I know what you mean about the finances, it has to be deeply discounted for me (like 60% to 75% off). Hey, I got Tim Holtz Halloween paper for $4 during a one day sale that we just happened to drive the hour and a half to the coast for doctor appointments (where the stores are, I live in nowhere land). I was soooo proud! 🙂

Those tins! I don't nees more media, nor do I have any money to spend on art supplies, but I would get that stuff just for the cute tins.
It's hard to feel down and exuberant at the same time. Impossible really so if this gift box helped you feel up for eve a bit, I'm glad. I'm new to you and not really an artist artist, just creative so I enjoy creativity. I don't care if this was a "Marketing ploy" as some have said. Marketing is the world. Good for Jane to send you a lot of stuff (she didn't have to.) but mostly, it made you happy. For real. It's ok to be real about tough times tho. We clock in on your vids to know you. Warts and all. Glad this. Made you happy which rubbed off on me. I'd love a few ideas on ink pens. I have expensive ones I inherited that don't work. Never thought about Ink quality. Keep smiling sweetie.
I would love to see an "all about fountain pens" video! Starting with the basics, like how to fill the pen and hold the pen. Then go on to more advanced things like types of ink and writing styles :) I have always been intrigued by fountain pens and would enjoy learning more before I invest. I also love watching your mixed media journal pages. Seeing you in the moment creating is awesome.

Cindybin2001, I'm not sure where this is coming from, but I can handle myself on the internet :) I don't have a picture of my face or any personal information. I have never had a problem with hate on the internet, because I only speak love.
One thing that would be helpful is a review of some various papers. I use fountain pens a lot for figure drawing and I use cheapo Mead composition books. The paper is lined but it’s actually pretty great for quick gesture drawing or just sketching.
after watching your video on the mermaid markers I went out today and bought them for myself and one set for a friend. Then I ordered some of the inks and the watercolors and the other colors of the markers! I found that you can find a lot of her stuff for about half off on ebay.

It's hard on you (or anyone), seriously, when you are used to buying and then stop whether it is by choice or because you must. Getting stuff like this means the world when that part of life changes. You mentioned journal tattoos. I wonder if those temporary tattoos you can buy at the dollar store would work on a journal page.
You have to clean fountain pen nibs before you use them. Thats why your cheapy pen worked better after you washed it to change inks. Make sure you clean the nib on your new one before you use it. Such a great video, so many fun new toys!!!!
Bunny Cates do you clean them with something special? I am having problems here myself thanks, but I put Bombay India ink in it
Sheree Linwood The nib needs to have the processing chemicals removed. I've used toothpaste and an old brush to clean mine, and some people have mentioned using windex. The chemicals on the nibs interfere with the inks ability to flow freely thru the channel on the nib. That will cause hard starts, dragging, and splotches ink flow. A good clean should help.
Sheree Linwood India ink will clog fountain pens. You need a dye based ink specifically meant for fountain pens. Brands like Diamine and Kaweco are good to start with.
Happy or happy, I don't know of anyone that can wear your hair as you do in the video and look so good. Carry on.
