- MIND BLOWING! Excavator digs into a CENTURY OLD pit of Antique TREASURES! Whiskey Jug Discovery!
We rented an excavator to search for Treasure in Alabama! We dig up rare whiskey jugs, flasks, relics and antique bottles from over a century ago! We couldn't believe how much we dug up!

Had my heart broken last week man lol the city cleared out a small wooded area to create like a walking path/loop right outside of my town in between to rivers that meet up to form one, I've had a hunch for a few yrs it was possibly dump land at one time. Last sunday the wife and I went and looked through some of the dirt piles they have there now and found a few hutch bottoms. Kicking myself in the butt knowing I was right and didnt make a move. Now it's all open and probably too risky to try and dig.
That was absolutely stellar, it's rare that you have a chance to do that. Using an excavator has it good points and bad points. But you saved some history that day. Not often that you get a chance to dig a hole that big. Loved it!
This just became my favorite Adventure Archaeology video!
Such a crazy cool dump. That 5 gallon jug was a heartbreaker
Really like thé remake
Those jugs were crazy old, sorry you only had one full and gave it to the driver. You were right to give it to him for digging!
Can you do an episode showing all of these bottles you keep from these holes? I would love to see them and what they are worth! Awesome day for you boys ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
I know there is an old dump on what used to be my Dad's property. The guy that owns it now has put in tons of fill and leveled it out, planted grass, so it's all pretty now. He would never let anyone dig it up. My Mom and I used to dig there when I was a very young girl. I'm 65 now. I still have bottles that Mom and I dug together from there.
I’m Scottish and a digger. I couldn’t help but smile at the James Kieller Dundee Marmalade jar- we get loads of them over here. I don’t take them home! Great video you guys. Your passion for collecting really shows!👍🇬🇧🇺🇸
Wowzers. A locl dump wa buried under a flood defence near to us in the UK. I find traces in broken shards of old pepsi and medicine bottles along nearby railway line embankment but the bulk are long gone. So sad as when i was a kid i could have dug this site 😮
You never know wht you missed till its gone.
That was great Brandon! Good job! I knew yours is the best archeology channel! Thats very cool putting them together. Has to be a time staking project to do, editing. Thanks as always my friend!
Really enjoyed this remastered video! Can't wait to see another one!
Always good to do something with friends ! Mass digging adventure with some good finds !
I just absolutely love this channel. Happy Digging!!!!
I just love the melty bottles. It's always fun to look back at your finds. :-)
What a great opportunity, I am so glad you guys were able to save those historical treasures!
Aha! Four years ago explains why I heard you say: "I've never dug one of these before" so many times. Great compilation.
Awesome dig. Love the intact stone wear jug. The milks are amazing.
Excellent! Wish I could help save history too! Thanks for the entertainment!!
You posed the question to us about which video was our favorite. I settled on this one because of the pure joy in your voice when those jugs rolled out.
Thanks for the remastered format too. Its really cool to see them cleaned up.
Great video bro and as always thanks for taking us along
Holy crap you guys found a lot of bottles! I can’t imagine finding that many in one day.
Thank you Brandon and guys for the adventure and seeing some amazing finds !
I look forward to the quiet, end of the day time to watch your videos and this one was SO EXCITING! thank you! ❤❤❤😊
I absolutely adore Exploring Alabama and his Bride! He says some dumb sh*t but it's very entertaining!
Lol He is hilarious
I'm a big fan of your river hunting vids, but this is definitely the best tip digging vid. Keep up the good work!

Those were some amazing saves Brandon. Those jugs were sweet!
This has always been one of my favorites, glad to see it in one whole episode, whatever happened to the Remington oil bottle, do you still have it 😀
It was fun seeing this dig again and all in one video !
Any update on your new bottle tumbler ?
We’ve just now started back working on it. Been a very busy summer!
OMG!, the poppin’ n lockin’ just about hilled me!! Great video!
Lol EA is a ham!
Interesting and helpful to know that a clay dome was laid on top of dump site. Thanks for sharing that info!
What a great video and kudos to saving all that history.
Awesome dig Brandon!
Great finds and shadow dancing and puppets!
That marmalade is a common find on the UK mudlarking channels. So cool.
Absolutely awesome video. Thank you for sharing with us.
6:15 Lucky bugger.. Amazing find
Love the digs like this one!
Amazing finds, thanks for sharing 🎉❤😊
When I was digging in the late 60s and early 70s the Dundee marmalade jar was a common piece for us. Also made of the same material, was Cherry toothpast used by the Queen. Very cool. Found several of them over the years.
Awesome channel... good work fellows!
I highly enjoyed this video as I am new to your channel
That was a really goodun !
you never know what you can find! great dig, the amount of material moved you could never do in a day!
too bad about the jugs! you had some great items keeping the past alive! nothing like that is possible
today with all the plastic garbage. no pottery or glass!
Just looked in my 4th edition of Porters Coke book and the 1915 Talladega coke is listed S+...100-150 known. Nice find!! Great spot there!! Surprised Mrs. Adventure Archeology isn't down in the hole with you...or in front of you! Take care, be safe and God bless!
loved this video!!!
Great video.
♥ Dreams do come true!
Great planter, since it’s broken!
Yo Brandon thanks for another great video my man! You ever find yourself up north we've got some killer town dumps here in mid east Ohio, would love to put youins on one of em!
Awesome
Am watching n waiting to see what use find . Good luck guys Brandon pull out something good 👍.... 💌😇
Brandon, rem oil is still made if you were not aware. It’s in spray cans now though.
without that excavator it would have taken a team of 20 to dig all that out in several weeks worth of work. Thats insane
Awesome find 😊
I never see you digging any of the large size Coke bottles we used to have in the 50s and 60s with a pint or quart whatever they wear
They are much newer than the stuff we dig. We shoot for at least 100 years old.
Nice shadow dancing around the 34 minute mark. LOL
Dundee Marmalade is a common crock in the UK and Canada.
Looks like the old dump in Jasper a long a cool finds
Hmmm not sure where the Jasper dump is but would like to know haha!
Wonky bottles are the coolest
Nice
Hello Brandon, can’t wait for this video! How many Hutch’s you find today lol!
Jugs in this one haha
That "something Bros." jug from Kentucky was likely Old Blue Grass by Weller Brothers.
Cant wait to see what you find! Brandon, will you be at Treasure Fest next weekend?
I sure will!
Pop's here. Doesn't the backhoe damage things. And who checks the scopes taken out?
Are embalmers bottles rare or common finds in the south. I was thinking of the ones for home use as crazy as that sounds today. Thankyou
Do you ever take a cooler to put the bottles in where they can raise to temp slowly?
At about 12 minutes in, your poking around in that orange layer. Is that where they burnt the dump or what causes that? In an area where I found bottles there is a big section like that they're also appears to possibly be some coal so I wasn't sure if it was burned trash dump or they dumped hot coal or. slag or something.
Thanks!!
The Chili Powder with the eagle is Gebhardt Chili Powder. It's still made today.
Good
15:42 pm. How can I purchase bottles from you? I have learned a lot from your videos.
@@kevinjackson65 Hey Kevin here is a link to our eBay store: www.ebay.com/usr/adventurearchaeology
Bill Porter coke bottle list has the 1915 Talladega listed as Scarce +
Please tell me you had more than one day to dig on that property??? That 5gal jug can be repaired. I've seen them totally repaired and you can't tell. It would be worth getting the hole reapired. I would have set up lights with a generator and ran until 10pm if you're near homes... Later if not. Geez y'all found some amazing pieces!!!!
We had 3 haha
I have a bottle that was blown in a wooden mold. Apparently whoever was doing the work taking the glass out of the molds took it out too early. His entire handprint is imprinted around the bottle. Its pretty crudelyade. Applied top. Amber.
Hey guys, when you have so many people digging how do you divvy up all the treasures?
When we rent a machine we do things differently but when we dig by hand it’s whoever finds it keeps it.
Do you ever find any old vanilla bottles? 🎉❤😊
What do you use to get your bottles so clean?
ua-cam.com/video/9oKwFnW1QIQ/v-deo.htmlsi=V1P7bba21n_2fDv9
I wish it was a CNN antiseptic… maybe it could clean that sewer up. Lol 😎
Where was the Nehi bottle house?
how do they get so deep in the ground?
Just like modern landfills they buried their trash back then too.
Hey
Is this an old video?
First Comment How is life going.
Busy busy! How about you?
Don’t you know the original owners of that large jug were heartbroken when it got broken. Lol
It's odd to me that back then they would throw away perfectly good jugs.
Shit Happens!!

👍🙏>>>💚--- 💥💥
Why don't you keep a five gallon bucket that is half full of water so you can rinse them off when digging these sights?
Access to water isn’t always available and water rarely helps clean the bottles. It takes a lot more elbow grease than water hah
Think about this
U said u have 1000 those med bottle's sell at next bottle show ur at for $1
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
use a digger bucket without teeth its better idea
Good afternoon if you think I'm going to spend 30 bucks on the damn t-shirt your high as hell that's 30 bucks I can buy food with spark is better than 30 bucks on this one t-shirt I go to Goodwill and spend freaking 5 hours and get six t-shirts no thanks😢
I make $2 of if I sell it at $30. I can’t go backwards…..
This looks like a repeat.
It’s remastered as the intro said haha
I didn't see anything saying remastered but I didn't watch it live or live again
"Just a Chero" ........bottle elitist lol
Lol 😂
