Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self Control, Indomitable Spirit. Many of the comments here have lost focus on these very important aspects of many Asian martial arts. Just because you are behind a computer screen should not change your integrity. I hope you can all find your peace within.

@@sookiesquad7995 Not all martial arts are South Korean, my statements should cover many from all over the Asian areas, Korea, Philippines, Japan, China, and the list goes on. Find your own inner peace and don't allow simple words to get the better of you.

This is great thank you alot. I've learned about half of this pattern and have gotten two kicks down (due to a limited amount of time) and my friend (she's a blackbelt) is surprised at how fast of a learner I am. 🙂

Can I make a suggestion? Why don't you use 'Cheon Ji' instead. 'Chon Ji' reminds me of '촌지'.
'촌지' is not a nice word in Korean. It means money used to bribe someone. I understand when you want to express one language to another, things are not quite perfectly matching.... two different language systems from one end of the world ( Korean, Far Eastern Asia) and from the other end of the world Far Western Europe, England). In the case mentioned above, 'Cheon' can be another option to make the original '천지' sound.

You should step straight through. Gen Choi never taught to half moon when moving forward. Doing so is Karate.. Not TKD.

Back stances are not widened, they are lengthened. A back stance should not have width. The back foot is at 90 degrees, the front foot is 1.5 - 2 shoulder widths long, directly in front of the rear. 70% of weight should be placed on the rear leg.
