carissa marie this may sound odd but start with some blended highlights, use pravana because it is awesome and go from there :)

If your hair is too dark youre going to have to bleach it first !

Great info, glad you found what works for you. The hairdresser in me wants to point out though, the process/product required may differ from person to person, it all depends on what you have to start with and how your hair takes to the colour. Hair colour can be very unpredictable.

I had my hair a brownish/red/purply colour, yet it would only look dark dark purple in most lights. Yesterday I decided I wanted to go your exact colour. So I bought, bleach, bleached my hair and brooo, all I have to do is re dye my scalp because that shit went white but the majority's of my hair is exactly how yours is in this video and I'm living for it.

Chimchim if you have never dyed your hair the color will definitely show, I have been ginger now for half a year and I naturally have dark brown hair, it does fade into a light brown after a while which still looks pretty in my opinion cx you should definitely try it

Chimchim I used Argan oil hair color in 7RG but I've also heard a lot of great things about L'Oreal I've personally never used it but yeah if you've never dyed your hair the color should show without having to bleach it
My hair was medium/dark brown and virgin. I went to the salon to get it colored ginger and she was like "we'll probably have to bleach your whole head and it'll cost $300+" so she did a test strand of bleach and another of just color and the color lifted my hair and it's SUPER bright! Go to a salon and have them do some test strands!! I love it

I tried once that color. I bleached my hair and everything; BUT when I applied the color, it got DARK PURPLE. But I did not know that it was normal! So I freaked out and washed my hair immediately... so my hair stayed an ugly orange:c glad to see this, I will try again.

I'm a brunette that's been dyeing my hair ginger for years. I used to use level 7 hair dye, 7.43 or 7.40 but it always pulled too much brown and was darker on me than I wanted; I really wanted the lighter, more vibrant GINGER, not really auburn. I used so many brands! I finally found my perfect shade

Hi I was wondering if you had a beauty license because I the led out the website for the hair dye to used and you have to have a beauty license to buy at the places I checked or pay someone $100+ to dye it at a salon
Any ideas how to get to this shade if you have originally dark brown hair (my hair is died in highlights a dark copper but its not quite what i wanted, and your hair color matches exactly what i want) any ideas on what bleach to use that wont damage my regular hair and colored hair to reach that beautiful shade of Copper?
Bleach always damages hair but in sallys i use to grab the bleach meant for elderly hair haha its much more gentle yet still powerful. Forgot what its called but its the only bleach brand in sallys that caters to the elderly so it shouldnt be hard to find.
